The hotel was only a few minutes away from Sturgis's main street. It was very quiet and guests were respectful. The staff were accommodating too. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Basic toiletries were provided: soap, shampoo, conditioner, and makeup remover wipes. Even though breakfast technically started at 6:30 am, the woman setting up breakfast was kind enough to let me eat when I was trying to check out around 6 am. The breakfast is your standard continental breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage links, apples, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, bread, mini muffins, and a waffle maker. They also provide coffee, juice, and water. The hotel is dog friendly and I saw a few other dogs while I was there. I never heard any of them barking, which was good. There is a small dog relief area with waste bags provided. Behind the hotel, there is also a paved sidewalk and grassy area where you can take your dogs on a short walk. Keep in mind that the hotel is next to the main road, so I would caution against walking dogs off-leash. Despite being near a main road, I couldn't hear traffic noise (even with motorcycles driving by). There is also a bar in the lobby that has live music on Friday and Saturday nights, with happy hour every day from 4-6 pm. This hotel has laundry facilities and a fitness center on the first floor. I never used the amenities, but I appreciated they were available.

I wish there was a coffeemaker and microwave in the hotel room. There was a microwave in the breakfast area that you could use, but the coffee was not available at your convenience. I drink a lot of water, so it would have been nice if there was a water fountain or water filling station. There is a drink dispenser in the breakfast area that provides juice and water, but it's turned off after the breakfast service ends. They provide free Wifi, but it was spotty, which was unfortunate because I had to work from my hotel room. Luckily I had a hot spot, so I would switch back and forth as needed.

Dan was the absolute best hotel employee that I think we have ever dealt with. He was professional, courteous, helpful, accommodating, and kind. We had a long drive and a hard day, but Dan made it all better with his attitude and assistance. We even tried to work our return trip out to stay at Baymont again specifically because of Dan. We couldn't make it work, but we are planning to try again on the next trip up next year! Give that man a raise!

It was very clean and updated, bar was nice. Free complimentary drink and a man playing later, I didn't stay but would have if I didn't have my kids.

The pictures on website show a pool. My daughter forget her suit so we had to stop and buy a suit for her. We get there and there is no pool. I didn't want to hassle with taking it back we were on time contraint but that was the only annoying thing. Breakfast could have started earlier. We were up by 5:30am so I assummed 6am breakfast would start, it didn't start until after 7am.

Unfortunately we did not eat the breakfast there as we have a Vacation Rental we own in Lead SD and we were out in the hills for our HOA meeting an the house we own was rented by vacationers. So we stayed at your facility as we are from Mitchell and didn't want to drive out and back to Mitchell, SD in one day. We plan on living out there in the Vacation Rental in the next couple of years. However, I cabin is rented more this year than it ever has been. I believe we are going to have a record breaking year. Hoping your facility also has a record breaking year. I think people all over Covid scares and out wanting to travel.

The only thing better for me would have been a microwave. I have to drink coffee with the least amount of acid in it so I brough my own cool brewed along and then I just put in a cup and heat in microwave . My husband said there was one though out in your common area which I didn't know until we left.

The hot tub was nice

No coffee pot in the room! And we were in the room over the office doors..we could hear ever time the doors opened and closed, we had breakfast there ever morning and it was always late with the coffee and the same food 3 day in a row..only one person working the kitchen, she needs help.

Very nice front desk personal. Good breakfast. Very clean & comfortable.

I had made reserves on Booking when we walked into Hotel being I didn't make reservations though them, our 2 queen beds turned to 1 King bed. I ordered handicap room, cuz I'm in a wheelchair. Ended up handicap room with a bathroom with a bathtub not a roll-in-shower.

The breakfast was well-organized and tasty. There were groups of 2 - 18 people and the tables were easily reorganized to fit the needs of each group. Very cordial staff member who kept everything filled.

Thought there was a swimming pool, but there wasn't. Location and parking are not easy to see at night.

Fantastic friendly staff. Bed was comfortable and clean. I was able to do 2 loads of laundry, which was great! There is also a bar/restaurant with friendly staff and good atmosphere. Breakfast in the morning was decent with eggs (most likely from a powder) and sausage.

Wish they served more fruit/ better fruit for breakfast. The apples weren’t good.

The attendant at the desk waived our pet fee I think because we were so late in coming due to severe storms, etc. The hotel was awesome in all respects - clean, comfortable and amazingly affordable. Oh, and the breakfast was great. Thank you.

Location was great, room was clean, breakfast was a bonus, Sam was GREAT and so friendly on our ride to and from Main St.

The only complaint I have (and not a huge deal) was when we returned to our room the beds just had the blankets pulled up over the pillows. The pillows were not even moved from our sleep the night before. Nothing tucked in…just sheets hung to the floor and a mess. I worked in a hotel as a housekeeper and this would never be acceptable! Just looks really bad! Have pics of the bed.
