The location was great. We were able to walk downtown and back. Although the 2nd day we found out that Chris would give us a ride downtown which was great then we enjoyed our walk back. Actually he gave us a couple of rides which was even better. The restaurant was very good. We had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners. We also enjoyed eating a meal while watching sports in the lounge.

Really the main thing that could have been better would have been to win more money. However that is always a bonus. We usually have a plan and although not happy with not winning a bunch, playing machines is just for fun.

The rooms were wonderful!

The hotel is located above a casino, and you needed to access two different elevators in two different locations. We had two people with limited mobility with us and luggage for four people. The man at the door was unhappy when we tried to unload at the entrance. He wanted us to park in the garage across the street in our assigned spot (third level), and bring our luggage down that elevator, through the casino, up another elevator to the hotel lobby, and across to the hotel elevator and up to the third floor to our rooms.

We liked the casino entrance but if you are not into gambling you do have to enter the hotel via the casino

Location was perfect for walking anywhere! The parking was great and the housekeeping staff was amazing! We always had greeters to open the doors for us. The bed and room were very comfortable.

The hotel had 2 sets of elevators to actually get to our room. We ran out of toilet paper right away and had to ask for more. The hotel restaurant was too expensive. The room was a bit small for the price. Otherwise it was a great place to stay right next to everything. The drive to Mount Rushmore was only an hour.

Nice and clean. Located next to Main Street, but not on Main Street. Won some money at the Casino. didn’t go to restaurant, but looked nice.

Nothing is free. No free breakfast, vending machines are very expensive (2.50 for a bottle of water, 3.00 for pop and chips). Wish they had 2 BR family suites with 1 king suite and 1 double bed kitchenette and living room and pull out bed. Ideal for families of 4 or more.

The location was perfect, overlooking Deadwood. Even with the start of the Sturgis motorcycle rally, the hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was super friendly and the room was really big. We had a great time. We had dinner one night on the outdoor patio. Delicious tacos and live music in the sunshine.

The property was unique and intriguing. It backed up against a rock hill, very pretty. The building was converted from a mill so there are several levels and side by side sections pieced together to make one beautiful building. Very impressive!!

No breakfast - advertised breakfast for $10 online but??? Would have been nice to be aware of construction going on - rooms were great!!!

Construction

Amazing location of hotel situated at the top end of the main street. Easy walking access to all town facilities. Good secure parking. Room was very clean and quiet. Hotel linked to a casino with coffee shop.

Service in the restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast. The overnight front desk gentleman was very nice. The bell man at check our was also super. The women (sisters?) at the front desk during the day were not friendly or courteous. I am not sure which one I spoke with a couple of times.
