The overall smell of this hotel is intoxicating, you immediately know this is a five star hotel.

This being the first time my wife and I stayed at a 5 star hotel, o had expected the first staff member which is the front desk to be a little more welcoming. However, overall I still enjoyed my stay.

The front desk staff was not very welcoming upon arrival. The didn’t greet with a smile, it was very unpleasant since I was excited for my stay. The young ladies made me feel like they were judging. Also, I called and asked for a vallet to be charged to my reservation for a guest. When my guest left he went to the front desk, not knowing I had already paid bc i forgot to tell him, he went to the front desk and asked how does he pay for vallet and he gave them my room number and $30 cash and she accepted the money knowing I had just called her and told her to charge my reservation. I had to call her and ask her if I was double charged because he told me you accepted his cash payment. She apologized and said she didn’t realize the mistake. I don’t believe it.

Iike that they gave $20 for a free drink. The location was everything. It was right beside the festival.

They didn't have the bikes like I wanted. There was always one available but not enough for my girl and I to ride together. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. Other than that it was nice. It was just missing a few amenities in the room.

The hotel is absolutely lovely, with its charming decor aesthetic and a delightful bar. The highlight of our stay was the incredibly comfortable beds, which ensured my husband and I slept like babies throughout the night.

My stay was great. I liked the story behind the buildings, and the lovely staff at the reception and even valet.

I still think my stay couldve been more amazing, by having a spa or gift shop around to top it off.

the shower water pressure was not great. only one soap bar was present in the bathroom. service providers were not as ‘fake’ nice as normal in the US. asked for housekeeping, never happened.

Like the rooms, it had a good view of the city on the upper floor. Super comfortable beds . The gym was clean and had some new equipment

Had paid $40 per night to park, with no pool and no mini-fridge in the room. I know that this is more of a business hotel with very few options for family travelers.. Keep in mind that some business travelers are diabetic and need the insulin to be kept refrigeratated.

This hotel is beautiful! The lobby and bar are gorgeous, it's clean and modern. The rooms are very well designed and super comfortable. The location was great too - I was traveling with my dog so the proximity to parks (Sabine trail) was wonderful.

It ended up being quite a bit more expensive than I anticipated. They charge $100 for pets and an additional $20 resort fee, which I normally only see at hotels with pools or on the beach.

I enjoyed the complementary champagne provided to guest in the hotel lobby in the evenings during our stay. It was a nice touch. I also appreciated the heated fire lamps at the hotel entrance to keep the parking staff warm when waiting for guest to arrive.

I didn't like that after checking in our room keys would not swip to open the door. We made three trips up and down to the lobby before the front desk concluded our room lock was out of battery and we had to get maintenance to fix it.
