Good location. Near everything.

While we got a riverview room, it was a part of the river where the only thing you could see was an abandoned parking lot and construction. If you are looking for a hotel that is on the riverwalk and not just before it, this is not the place.

The check-in staff were very friendly and helpful. I arrived before check-in time and chose to wait in the lobby lounge area. They notified me in person in less than an hour that my room was ready! The location was excellent, with access to the river walk just across the street. The bed was very comfortable. This hotel has a parking garage with valets to park your car. It cost $35/24 hours, and I felt it was well worth it. There is also a fee open-air parking lot right next door, but I chose to pay more for the extra security. The valet service was extremely efficient; I was impressed!

Staying downtown comes with city noises late at night and early in the morning. I was awakened before 6 a.m. by what sounded like a garbage truck in the street below. Not the hotel's fault; just letting folks know.

The staff answered all my questions expertly. The room didn't come with a microwave, but we requested one and they brought it right up. Having a bar downstairs is great for winding down. It being a weekday it was quiet so I could eat and read without much distraction. We walked to a nearby restaurant for lunch, so close to the Riverwalk it was great. The lobby is Instagram worthy.

Not really their fault, but as I had to work, my girlfriend stayed behind and we could only get an extra 30 mins for the late checkout. Fortunately they had both a coffee bar and a great lounge for her to wait.

The staff was excellent, friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was nice and the bed, mattress, pillows and linens were exceptionally comfortable. The meal and cocktails we had in the restaurant and bar were very good. The coffee shop was great.

The hotel was located a little farther from the Riverwalk than I expected. There weren't many other restaurants close by.

I like that the hotel was by the river walk. The rooms were nice and the lobby was beautiful for an older hotel. The outside is very deceiving to whats on the inside.

The hotel didn't have free parking. The alcohol in the rooms had to be put away so my kids wouldn't touch them cause they were way too expensive for one to get broken. The pool was cool but swallow and sides and bottom were rough and cut up my kids feet.

very clean! beds were comfortable every part of our room was very clean. bathrooms are very nice. we got a suite and kitchen was nice even a closet!

parking. we arrived very late one night at 3:00am and parking lot was full we had to park in the very back and we got lucky we noticed the back of the pool area had a small walk up we used that to get back instead of walking all the way around the hotel to the front so a sign would be nice to put up what to do if the parking lot is full.

The overall experience would have been a bust, had it not been for the staff that went out of their way to assist with my issue. The Hotel was a nice place to stay, the restaurant/bar is ok but not outstanding, bonus the lounge area is a great backdrop for selfies!

Unfortunately the A/C was not working in my room, the staff did attempt to accommodate the situation, unfortunately the room that I switched to was just as bad. Upon check out I overheard several guest stating they had the same A/C issue. Front Desk staff did comp. for parking, however if you didn't make a huge scene or request it, you did not receive the comp.

Staff was wonderful. I planned on leaving my luggage in hold until checkin but our room was ready and I was able to check in by 8:30am this allowed me to go tour comfortably knowing my things are safe. Room was clean and service was great. Coffee shot at the hotel is extremely expensive and not worth it. They complained about my mother asking for additional almond milk for her coffee after charging extra for it. Room was nice, fridge was very small and couldn’t fit our groceries as they don’t offer breakfast during weekdays. Although I requested a quiet room, some family with kids showed up around 10pm and allowed their kids to run in the hallways up and down, slamming doors and causing chaos. It stopped around midnight but it already effected my sleep. My mother and son slept ok. Otherwise the stay was nice, this hotel was less expensive than others but still at a similar proximity to attractions and sites. We were 10 minutes walk from The Riverwalk, 13 minutes from the Alamo and about 16 minutes walk via The Riverwalk to the tower of the Americas. Worth the stay.

The noisy family at 10pm. I wish the hotel would limit the checkin time so people like this don’t disturb the peace of other guests, especially as there are signs everywhere staying quiet time at the hotel is from 10pm-6am.

Staff were exceptional. Our Valet, I believe was Joe, he was so helpful with our suitcases and accessories. Even when we forgot something he was ready to walk us to our car and ensure we were safe and got those items. Our checkin staff were also very pleasant. Another day, I needed to go to my car for my glasses and Derrick stopped me in my tracks, saving me from a homeless character that was acting out. Derrick walked me to my car and was very pleasant.

The dishes at the restaurant didn't always seem at there cleanest. The coffee shop across from the restaurant always seemed to be closed for us at a most unopportune time.

Overall, it is a nice hotel. It has a coffee shop, restaurant and a bar which is super convenient. The location is great. The room setup was perfect for my work trip. Wifi speed was superb. The room had everything I needed.

I couldn't get a good night sleep due to the pillow quality. This is more of a personal thing, but I would advise providing various types of pillows for various preferences. They were too soft and kept collapsing, causing neck, shoulder pain, and a headache. Also - the bathroom needs upgrading. Everything else at the hotel is nice and new, but the bathroom was old.
