I loved the nostalgic feel of the place, though it didn’t feel old and run down. It was clean and classy. The staff was very kind. We also appreciated the complementary breakfast and afternoon snack, having 2 pool options with multiple hot tubs, and the proximity to the activities we came for.

Parking is pretty pricy. We were able to find other parking that was more reasonable.

location! location! location. <5 minute walk to main plaza, right on the river. 10-15 minute walks to the great farm-to-market restaurants and bistros popping up in Southtown area. Ok 5-10 minutes from the Alamo. Love the downtown location. Old family owned hotel, well cared for - and updated. Very clean. full breakfast available and included. Evenings include open bar with 3 drinks free per guest and chafing dishes of lite meal items if you don’t want to go out. Small gym. I’ve been going to San Antonio for decades. I didn’t know. I will come back here. One general piece of advice. hotel car parking is ridiculously expensive at all the hotels. there are plenty of garages you can park you car in for less than half the price. you won’t need your car if you can comfortably walk 15-20 minutes into any direction and experience ALL that San Antonio. has to offer. I paid $11.25 per day at the Convention center parking lot versus $40 per day plus tip.

Really appreciated the Breakfast & Dinner meals provided. My family and I really enjoyed our evenings at the pool and spa. The hotel staff and valet parking staff were very courteous and friendly. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel. Thank You for all the services provided.

During our stay at the hotel we were truly satisfied so there's nothing to say that we didn't like. It was our first time staying there and it won't be our last.

Drury Hotel was a beautiful old structure in downtown SanAntonio. Location was good and right on the river walk. It would be a wonderful place for families to stay. Offered a free full breakfast each morning and an early evening dinner for families with free cocktails for the adults. There were two pools also. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable.

The rooms did need some up dating but were comfortable. It was hard to find a place to sit and eat each time the buffets were served. More seating should be available in a convenient location.

Pros: - the beds & pillows are ssso comfortable! - free hot breakfast daily - free light dinner daily - free cocktails in the afternoon (3 daily) - indoor AND outdoor pools - direct access to Riverwalk - in room jacuzzi tubs are big! - great water pressure in showers - lots and lots of in room ports - there's a lobby market with snacks & basics - excellent lobby nooks for getting work done - nice restaurant on site for casual noshes - very helpful friendly staff!

Cons: - the rooms are small (if that matters to you) - elevators are iffy on busy days - the meals get pretty monotonous - the popcorn isn't always available

The hotel offers a complimentary full, hot breakfast and suppers including cocktails 7 days a week. Lydia, Rachel, Tammy, Mauricio, and Nathaniel made sure that the food was always hot and plentiful. AJ, one of the hotel's general managers, made sure that guests were accommodated with special requests. After a full day of sightseeing, going back to the hotel felt more like going to a friend's house to spend some time. My husband and I stayed 2 weeks and plan on going back. The Drury Plaza Hotel is a value in price, but most important was seeing the smiles.

Parking could be a little less expensive.

Valet parking was great, the breakfast and dinner were decent and various; the jacuzzi was relaxing, I only wish we had more private swimming times but that'd be just a personal preference, possibly a later time for the pools to close.

There really wasn't much that I could say we didn't end up liking about the plaza, it was beautiful, clean, tidy, the free three drinks were decent I'd say the only negative is that if you want to stay there the safest option for your belongings is for them to remain inside your car, and that the only alternative is perhaps public parking, so pretty much there's no other choice than to pay the valet fee but then again it was a great addition to amenities and it was added on to the original fees for our room bill.

This Hotel is on the Riverwalk which was extremely convenient being that my parent is in a wheelchair. Able to wheel right out the the Riverwalk for shops, sightseeing, the Rio River Boat experience, restaurants, drinks, etc. You're also able to walk right out to street level where you are with in walking distance to The Alamo, The Market Square, & The Rivercenter Malll. The Hotel leadership are present! Whether it was at the lobby, breakfast, or dinner, I noticed what seamed to be managers, or leaders smiling, welcoming & present amongst the staff which was pleasant! This Hotel offered, included w/our stay, an entire 2nd floor dedicated to hot, fresh breakfast & also what they call "5:30 Kickback" where fresh, hot, dinner was served daily. Each adult also received 3 complimentary alcoholic drinks per night @ Kickback fm 5:30-7pm.There was a variety of options @ both breakfast & dinner (buffet style) which was nice. All staff around was smiling ,friendly, & helpful. We enjoyed the views from the rooftop pool. We were able to watch fireworks for the 4th of July from the rooftop & enjoyed the views of the city.

The room itself was muggy. Needs to be aired out, maybe curtains & portraits dusted (18th floor). The beds were definitely NOT Queen as stated on reservations. Seamed like full size beds. The hispanic female bartender (black hair, long nails) was the only staff member I encountered that was unfriendly to me. I witnessed her encounter a disagreement w/a gentleman in front of me as well on another night when she got his drink incorrect. (She worked on 7/5/23 & 7/6/23) Both the rooftop pool & indoor pool had dirty water. Both need a good cleaning & water change.

1 indoor pool with a hot tub with a patio outside and a rooftop pool with 2 beautiful Jacuzzi’s. They have a huge dinning area with free hot breakfast and free dinner plus 2 free alcohol beverages from 5-7:30pm. The food was great. The staff were really nice and friendly. This hotel is huge and nice. The rooms were nice and the hot showers. They have free refreshing lemon & lime water. My family enjoyed it. We recommend this hotel. The Riverwalk was literally right there out the back door. I loved the location because we walked to go eat dinner or rented out scooters. Scooters are everywhere, but if your out of range it does slow your ride very slow! I got rip off. I paid for 1 and then there was some malfunction with the ride . Then had to purchase another one. Valet parking is nice. $36 a day

Our last night when we were on the rooftop, a lot of adults were there getting wasted & had loud music playing. Lol security came up and told them to lower their music down. Some people were drunk and some people were just making out in the pool in front of kids constantly. The elevators were kind of slow on busy days because there is 23 floors.. The longest we had to wait was like 5-7mins. Checkout is a little hectic.

ALL of the staff were so nice and accommodating. They all spoke and greeted you, wishing you a great day!
