Room is nice and perfect for an overnight trip. The location is PERFECT for those who want to spend time at the riverwalk but also want to avoid the noise and traffic of the riverwalk. We stayed on the first floor and had no smell issues, but that could be different for others.

The parking in the back is quite tight. For my two door hatchback it was easy, but for someone with a bigger car I can see it being an uncomfortable fit. Their parking also fills up quickly - I checked in at 4 and got the last available spot. However, my friend who came later was able to park in the parking garage right next to the hotel and it's the samer price there as parking at the hotel.

Perfect location. It was fantastic to park the car and walk everywhere. The hotel checked us in early and happily let us leave the car on checkout day so we could go for another wander. A great base for an overnight stop and explore. The guy on staff that dealt with us was incredibly friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable for a night.

I will start by saying we are out of season and I think this makes a difference...didn't like is too strong. The hotel is quaint but I think a little tired and in need of some TLC. The music playing is nice during the day but through the night when I woke it sounded awful and made it difficult to get back to sleep. The room was small and crowded but I think because we only booked for one night it may have been the appropriate room.

The bed was massive-and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever had in a hotel. Everything worked exceptionally well. Air conditioning was icy cold and immediately cooled down the entire room. Hot water was very hot. Loved it. Coffee and breakfast were really good.

They did exactly what they said on their information paper, they didn't provide housekeeping services unless I asked them to. Which I didn't. And they never checked on me or even took out the trash! After 3 days, there was alot! I guess for the money I expected more attentiveness. To me, that's customer service.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The location was perfect. Really close to the riverwalk and other areas in the downtown area. Their antique style is very cute. They had fluffy blankets on each bed which was really nice. Felt like you were staying at grandmas house.

Elevator was broken so we had to use the stairs. The cleanliness was a bit questionable but not terrible. Some areas to the room didn’t smell the best but the room itself didn’t smell. Hard beds.

The location of this hotel is amazing! The river walk and river walk center, the aliamo.. ect are around there(only thake 5 to 10 min walk). Staff are really nice to me, and the night view is amazing! I can see the highest building( I forgot its name) in my hotel. The room is really clean too.

The light isn't working well. And you need to pay $20 for parking. If you have the lot of baggage, then just drop your baggage on 1st floor first. The structure of the parking building is really difficult for me.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, comfortably decorated, friendly staff. Location to events was very convenient.

The tub was footed and, for a shorter person, difficult to step over. Nice size towels, but they could have been a little softer. Parking was tight.

I liked the quiet level of being a few blocks from the riverwalk. There were no drunk people, and I felt safe.

The beds were uncomfortable; old basic mattresses and blankets were really used as there were gaps in the stuffing. There was no washer and dryer for guests to use. They have TVs in the rooms, but no local stations. Only have Roku available, so I was unable to watch the local news. Both mornings, I had to go buy coffee from outside restaurants as each time I went downstairs to get some, the canister was empty.

Location. Close to traditional Riverwalk. But also close to the King William Historical District and Southtown District. There, you can see history and cute shops and galleries but many restaurants, breweries, and brewpubs as well. Many of them are kid - and dog friendly. This location is right by the La Vallita shops, Arneson River Theater, and the well-known part of the Riverwalk. And if you want to, you can keep walking on the Riverwalk all the way to the Pearl District. That is filled with shops, eateries, and places to grab an adult beverage. There is a Farmers Market on the weekend. Look on their website for the details.

Nothing.

Felt very safe with only one way into the hotel, and staff were always present and friendly. Rooms were super clean. The air controls were awesome. Not to mention the Smart Tv, which made it even easier for my shows to cool down from the heat

I understand that the parking garage costs money, but my only complaint is that the parking garage doesn't have an entrance to the hotel, even though they are side by side.

I have stayed here many times and enjoy the quiet atmosphere and central location to the river walk, convention center and Alamo dome. It is a somewhat hidden gem and great place to stay.

Air Conditioning was out of service. I had a third floor room and it was 77 in the room. I Turned wall unit down to 70 but it did not change in room temperature. Had to put fan in window to draw cooler air from outside to cool room enough to sleep. This, of course, drew all of the pollen, allergies and city pollution into the room. So now I have a bad head cold.
