We ABSOLUTELY Loved everything about this property!! Inside and outside!! Location great. Access in and out of property was good. All of your staff were so pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Everything was so CLEAN!! and that is a high priority with me. Breakfast was very nice. many things to choose from. The Breakfast Staff were awesome keeping everything filled, clean, and tidy! Very good coffee I must say even if it did come from a machine! all area Attractions were close by and easy to find. A must stay if you are in the area. I definitely will stay again. Also recommend! Also a small Bar inside that serves drinks and light appetizers!

Everyone was so nice and friendly. Especially the Inn staff, they were exceptionally helpful and nice. They made you feel like you were part of their family. Our room was so nice we had 2 queen beds, a couch and coffee table, plus a big bathroom. It was so nice and clean. The Appomattox Inn deserves a10 star if possible instead of just a 5 star hotel. Plus, everything you wanted to see was very close to the Appomattox Inn and Suites. That is a big plus for getting to see everything.

The Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of hot food (eggs, sausages, biscuits & gravy), cold food (yogurt, cereal, bagels, muffins), and a waffle maker. The first-floor Bar had a nice selection and very fair prices.

We had a discrepancy and were accidentally double-billed for our room. It took several days and emails to get it straightened out, but they fixed things without hassle... so I guess that almost a plus.

We had some very friendly maids and I am saying couple because we had two different ones that stopped to see if we needed anything. Room was good. The breakfast was good.

I have COPD and there was a very strong deodorizer smell when you go through the lobby. It really made it hard for me to breathe. I am not sure why it has to be so overwhelming. You might want to think of people like me when using these things.

The location is perfect for those visiting Appomattox. After a short tour of the surrender site, I ran out of time to see everything. The young man at the tour desk told me I could park at the Confederate cemetery and walk down to the park. I left to go check in at the Appomattox Inn and then made the short, less than 5 minute drive back to the park. There isn't anything within walking distance to the Inn, but plenty of restaurants and a Walmart 5 to 7 minutes away.

Good location, super close to the Civil War museum and Appomattox Courthouse. The place looks like it was all recently renovated. Our room was big, comfy, and clean. The bathroom was really nice with a wonderful walk-in shower. The kids and I loved the pool!! The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Would stay here again if I'm back in the area.

We’ve stayed here plenty of times and it’s very convenient for us.

The front desk warned us about a guest having been smoking marijuana on the floor we were on and we could smell some of it in our room. Unfortunately that is the 4th time we’ve stayed in the hotel and smelled it each time. I understand they can’t control that, but it’s not a pleasant smell. And the bed isn’t very comfortable for me, my husband slept fine.

Friendliness of staff, cleanliness of room, comfort of lobby and beds.

Smoking in lobby my daughter had to deal with while working on computer for college. Internet was not working in the rooms so my daughter had to go down to the lobby. We’ve stayed here before and I would go back. I would just avoid the lobby at night.

Location was great - close to the Park at Appomattox - reason for visiting. Breakfast was good - lot of choices and food was warm. The "cook" does a great job. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

The TV remote partially worked, i.e. couldn't use the guide and couldn't shut off closed captioning. Need to fix that. A suggestion - on your website add to the amenities listed: outdoor pool, fitness room.

We loved this property! Location was great and price was reasonable.

We noticed that our noses were stuffed at night when we were in the room. At closer inspection I noticed a lot of dust in the room. Baseboards, light fixtures, even light bulb on nightstand lamp. I would have given this place a higher rating if they just had done a good cleaning and not one for appearances.
