The staff... from the front desk,housekeeping to all of the waitresses I had at the restaurant, was above and beyond. The food was exceptional, including the bananas foster French toast I had on multiple days. I will not stay anywhere else other than Marriott (at least in Norfolk Virginia) when visiting again.

I can't believe that after pondering for 30 seconds that I can't think of anything I didn't like

Nice corner room overlooking the harbor - Paid upgrade for this view. Comfortable, staff very nice. Ate dinner in hotel lobby "Italian" steakhouse restaurant - there are many restaurants and bars within walking. We were only there one night. A bit tricky to navigate to in terms of bridges and tunnels everywhere in Norfolk. Parking is in a deck next door.

The price jumped up at the last minute did not include breakfast which would have been extra. Hall rugs seemed a bit worn.

I absolutely loved the view and how clean the room was. The hotel was so convenient to food, shopping and museums. I loved that everything was in walking distance and the restaurant onsite was a nice touch to grab a quick cocktail or drink.

I didn't like that we had to pay for parking, especially with how much the room cost. It would have been nice to receive some sort of parking incentive.

The ease of check-in was a plus. The location was convenient for restaurants, events, and the ferries. This area seemed safe and with things to do for the family.

Parking was unexpected since I had to park in a parking deck behind the hotel, and it was at least $13/day or park on the street. The parking deck is not a part of the hotel, so there isn't a direct entryway to the hotel from the parking deck. This is a touristic area so don't expect to have a local pharmacy like Walgreens or CVS close by nor a grocery store. They are within a 10 or less min drive.

The location was wonderful and the staff very kind once we were in the hotel. Lots of great places to eat nearby and close to Chrysler Hall which is where we were going. Everything in walking distance is something I like a lot.

We were coming by car and called about parking and were told that we could use the public lots nearby. But they were all full. We ended up paying for a private lot only to find they had valet parking. So we spent more than we would have to valet. As a "make it up to you" we were given access to the M club, but when I went for water Sunday we were checking out, there was none. I could have used tap but the ice machine on on floor was broken. For the kind of money I paid for one night, this seems like things that should be fixed,

Room was beautiful and clean, modern. Location was perfect and we left prior to breakfast.

When I originally called and asked if I was speaking to Marriott, the agent told me yes. I did not expect to be billed a additional $40. When I made reservation which I booked in my and name, I asked about my husband's military discount. The agent told me I mention at front desk to get the Veteran's Discount. Because I booked under my name through you, they could not change it to his name; so we lost a military 10% discount, too. Not happy with you.

Hotel was kept in excellent condition and was given a room on the seventh floor with an amazing view! And not a bad price either for being right on the bustling waterfront area!

Only issues I had was I wish there was a directory in the lobby so I would have been able to find the fitness center and the handheld shower head had a hole in the hose but nothing major!

Upon check in we were greeted with smiles and the process was effortless. Our room was on the 22nd floor and the view was amazing! We opted for the concierge level and truly enjoyed the "club" for appetizers and the breakfast was perfect. The heated pool could have been a bit warmer, but we were able to enjoy. The location to the "Battleship Wisconsin" as well as "Waterside" was definitely within walking distance from the hotel. Parking in the garage was in very close proximity and the charge was reasonable. The surrounding areas felt safe and the walking areas are very pleasant. Our stay was the later part of September and the temperature was perfect for walking and touring.

We were disappointed to not have robes in our concierge room. I inquired upon our departure and was informed that the robes must be requested. I only wish that perhaps upon check in that the robes could have been offered.

Staff. I told staff I booked online she immediately told me if I just did it that day she would not even see it and told me to cancel and she will rebook me. I checked and it was a $260 cancellation fee. She didn’t even asked for my name at first until I told her about the fee. I felt she was trying to take advantage and have me double book when I was inebriated. My husband and I came for a work party and got to inebriated to drive home and booked online and walked here as our parking was on the same street.

I liked how clean it was, the beds were very comfortable, the service and 24/7 availability of the M club and the location!

The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that the view showing in the picture of the room I chose was not the view I received. I thought my room was facing Waterside but instead it was facing a very tall Apartment building called the ICON which obstructed alot of my view.
