The location was within walking distance of restaurants, museums, shopping, and entertainment. Staff were always smiling and ready to help with anything we may have needed. Large well decorated lobby that was comfy to sit and read a book by the fireplace. Lovely building and rooms. It was the little things that made a difference, like discounts to shopping, free museum tickets and snacks in our room! Really liked that Avenue Bread was just off of the lobby as they had wonderful staff and great breakfast and sandwiches.

Great location right in the middle of town. Super convenient to everything! Very nice home light touches in the lobby and the room! Our check in front desk attendants even walked us up to our room when we checked in!

Wish the taproom would have been open later, but that was the only negative. Our keycards didn't work when we came back one night but the desk attendant was very helpful and got us right into our room and even slipped new cards right under our door afterwards!!

There was a lot to like. We had a suite on the top floor that looked out on the roof patio and big skylight. This is exactly what we wanted, since we did not want street noise. (I presume the rooms that overlook the alley don't get much street noise either.) The king bed was comfortable. There was good steady water pressure and temperature in the shower. (I don't believe the hotel was full, though, so I don't know if that is always the case.) There were free apples at the front desk every day. One can get into the "American Bread" restaurant from the inn lobby. (It is a good breakfast and lunch place.) One can also get into the next-door bookstore/gift shop from the inn lobby. Lynden is not a big town, but there were a few restaurants within walking distance. We especially liked the Thai restaurant that is in a folksy downtown mall. Be aware that most of the downtown restaurants are closed on Sunday. The staff at the inn were super nice. There were a couple of gift certificates given to us when we checked in (one to a restaurant and one to a bookstore).

We didn't like the mini ironing boards. Even set on the coffee table, one has to bend over to iron clothes. A staff person helped us by loaning us the full-size ironing board from the suite that is often used as a bridal suite. Obviously, that suite was not occupied at that time. (We had just done eight days worth of laundry at the town Laundromat.)

it was nice and rustic antique like very unique I really like how the homely ma and Pa like setting even like the icebox where you can just go and grab a bag of ice instead of using the ice machine that was a good idea and it’s nice that they have a restaurant and a bar all in the same building beautiful atmosphere

I couldn’t say there was anything I didn’t like the room was beautiful. I had a balcony our own space a living room it was like a really nice studio.

The hotel was exceptionally beautiful, and it was the cleanest, seriously most spotless place I've ever stayed in. Hotels just aren't this clean. I was completely blown away. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The location was excellent. Right in the heart of the quaint little town.

Unfortunately, though, because of the age of the building, I assume, the noise travel was really quite bad. It seemed like there was no insulation at all. There was a wedding party that weekend and it was very loud. Good thing I brought earplugs... though I still heard the banging with them in. Also, they had roller shades that left pretty large gaps around the window. I strung up blankets for privacy from the streets, which helped with light filtering too.

The Inn at Lynden well exceeded my expectations. From the exterior to the lobby to my room, every detail was charming and elegant. The staff were super kind and helpful. This hotel is exceptionally clean and beautifully designed. I have never stayed in a more lovely room! I would return to Lynden from out of state (CA) just to have a long-weekend getaway here again. Surprise bonus was the bakery entrance from the lobby that equally puts Lynden on the map as a top travel destination for its fabulous menu, ambiance, and incredibly welcoming staff.

I loved *everything*!

Beautiful hotel!!!! My room was spacious with lots of fluffy white towels, well lit bathroom, soft, comfy bed beautifully laid out. A desk, new furniture and bedding, it was lovely. Magical night arrival in a flower lined street and lights. Woke up to the most charming view on the Main Street of the Lynden Dutch Bakery which I had to go to. Also loved the open concept of the main floor of the hotel that linked to a great food place, bookstore (loved it) and clothing boutique. Safe. Charming!

Everything was fantastic.

It was very nice, comfortable, and extremely friendly. Our stay Coencided with raspberry festival which didn't interfere with service at all.

Parking may be an issue for a handicapped person. We were lucky to find parking two blocks away and only had small bags. We were there during the festival so don't know what is normal. We will definitely stay again if the chance arises.

Fantastic location in the very quaint town of Lynden. The whole building (hotel, eatery, and bookstore) was classy, rustic and well maintained.

The room could have been more soundproof but it wasn't terribly bad. We appreciated the free parking but were nervous about parking a very expensive car in a lot around the corner. Luckily, nothing happened to it.

Very friendly and helpful staff on check-in. Very clean and comfortable. No add one - snacks, soft drinks, tea and coffee in the room included. Small fridge

Would like breakfast included but a minor point. Overall excellent hotel in a small, very clean, tidy and safe town with friendly people. The town could benefit from a better ( farm fresh) restaurant.
