Loved the decor (very special wallpaper, leather accents on the room) and the top-floor terrace with great views of Pike Place Market, Elliott Bay and downtown. The restaurant (Ben Paris) is also notable, with the smart 15-dollar credit in the form of a casino token. The bed was very comfortable. The kettle-based in-room coffee service is a refreshing departure from the ubiquitous Keurig.

This hotel suffers from what I call the 4-star syndrome: no microwave (somehow it's considered plebeian for 4-star hotels) and a castrated no-freezer fridge - but wait, there was NO fridge at all at State, in-room or otherwise, and it was a real bummer. Yes, folks, the rich also refrigerate! But the most outrageous thing was $22.07 for 2 small bottles of boxed water. They had small, gray and inconspicuous stickers on them: "Available for purchase, $10". Each bottle was pint-sized (500 ml to be precise). I didn't notice the stickers and drank this liter of wine-priced water, finding out only later from my credit card bill. BEWARE THE BOXED WATER! Nobody will turn it into wine for you.

The location is excellent. Short walking distance from Pike’s Market and the monorail and Sea-Tac light rail stations. There are many restaurants within walking distance, and CVS and Target are (literally) next door. The check-in and check-out were very efficient. Front desk personnel were VERY helpful, and nice, at the same time. The room was great: They are good size, and nicely decorated. The TV was at least 55 inches, and had great colors. I had a king-size bed which was heavenly!!!!

They are short on cleaning staff, so you have ro call front desk before 10:00 am if you want your room cleaned on that day.

The space was amazing. A cozy getaway so close to everything. It was easy to come and go. The staff were very friendly (with the exception of the first day).

The first staff that greeted me was not so nice. I don’t think I ever saw her again. I was early and knew it. But the way she greeted me was different from the way she greeted the people after me. The elevator always smelled like gas. It was gross. There was a piece of toilet paper stuck on my shower floor. Luckily I had a disinfectant wipe that I used to scrub it off and clean it. Other than that it was great.

Superbly located close to Pike Market and University Street Link Station. A really well appointed room that felt like it hadn't been designed by a corporation. The restaurant was excellent - best grilled pork chop I've ever had - and local beer on tap. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. My best recommendation is I'd stay here again if I ever return to Seattle. Top Tip: if travelling from SeaTac Airport use the Link train - it costs $3 to University Street with a 5 min walk to the hotel. An Uber taxi will cost ~$70

Ergonomically not great if you need to work on a PC. Toilet paper was thin and bathroom could do with a toilet brush.

The location was excellent. We were able to walk to many of our destinations. Recommend staying 6th floor or above with a water view. Otherwise may be looking at a parking

The room is a bit small and not set up well. No closet and only a small area to hang maybe shirts. The TV is also in an awkward place. Unable to watch unless you lay on the bed sideways. Too much chlorine in the water.

Excellent location down town! Staff and management were exceptional. Very courteous, professional and helpful. Restaurant food also excellent

Room ventilation was poor in my opinion. ( No fresh air) no small windows. Led to a "musty" stay sadly. No Minibar fridge for water, or medication. Thankfully Front desk could keep medication refrigerated at the reception area. I think a Mini fridge would benefit guests immensely for thier waters milk etc too.

the hotel was in a perfect location, most tourist attractions were in walking distance. the staff were really friendly and helpful. we had a room to the back, no view, but it was lovely and quiet and really comfortable. we did not pay for breakfast but each morning there was a selection of pastries/cereal/coffee complimentary so that was a bonus.

if there is one thing guests should know at the beginning of their stay is that housekeeping is only on request. also clean towels are only on request. if we had know this it would have made the stay so much better but it’s not a complaint, just a heads up to others.

Location, Location, Location Steps away from Pike Place Market Hotel was very clean and it was safe and comfortable. Key card was needed to access the hotel after hours. Parking garage they partner with was close by. There is a closer garage directly across the street, but we were happy with the one the hotel suggested on 2nd & Union.

We did have dinner in the restaurant. Felt it was overpriced and food was mediocre.

Hotel was really stylish and room extremely comfortable. Loved the little touches such as water and snacks in reception, free postcards, tea and coffee in the rooms, great robes. Toiletries provided were great quality. Excellent location just a few minutes walk to Pike Place marketplace. Staff were super friendly. Rooftop terrace has great views. Bar and restaurant on site is really nice and has a great happy hour.

We love the location! It was right next to Pike Place Market which is the location we wanted be around during our short trip to Seattle.

The room is not as spacious as we expected. The rooftop view is very small. It is only a small section and did not cover the whole rooftop of the building which the photo didn't show. You have to pay more for a room with a waterfront view. Breakfast is meager. There is only coffee and no tea is provided in the room. No water bottles either. Water is only provided at the hotel lobby and is not even filtered. We were expecting that water should at least be filtered similar to other boutique hotels we've stayed in at the same rate.
