It lacked a pool. The staff are friendly and helpful especially Maria & Jason and a nice young boy who opened the doors and helped at reception but I didn't get his name. The rest of the staff did not speak or understand English so communicating was difficult even though they were always smiling and friendly.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good. The aircon was wonderful. It was hard to communicate in English and we needed a pool.

There aren’t enough stars to properly rate ourexperience at this hotel! This place exceeded our expectations. From checking-in until departure, the staff was EXCEPTIONAL in EVERYTHING! We have spoken highly of Aurora since returning from holiday. EVERY staff member was exceptional; though, we only recall the names of a few…Heidi, Zoe, and Nia. Kudos to everyone there. We look forward to returning “home” on our next visit to Hanoi. Thank you for providing a warm, welcoming, caring, and elevated experience.

There was NOTHING to dislike about Aurora!

The staff is extremely attentive and we had i comfortable stay here. Great breakfast with view of the city. Location enabled us to walk a lot, especially during weekend you are very close to the area that gets closed for traffic and if you have kids they can try riding electric cars around the lake (thats only from friday to sunday, starts friday at 19.00).

This one is on us. Our kids arrived very cheerful and we got a complaint from a neighbour in just few minutes. We appologize for that. Keep in mind that your kids might not be able to relax and play freely in the room (if they get loud), but then again, we didnt hear anyone from neighbouring rooms, it was all very quiet.

Hotel is in the perfect location for the lake, puppet theatre and the red bridge. Restaurants, bars and shops etc all within a few yards. You can pickup a tourist bus just around the corner. The decor of the hotel is beautiful with brightly coloured chairs in the community areas. Fabulous staff who were attentive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast with good choice of foods available in the buffet plus they offer eggs cooked to your request and a range of coffees. Wi-Fi was amazing!

There’s nothing we didn’t like. Only issue for some could be that if you arrive on a weekend evening there is a market so the street is closed. You have to walk the last part of your journey to the hotel.

I travel to many places around SEA and I have to admit it is one of the best hotels I have been. The breakfast is top notch and so are the employees. From the moment you walk in you feel an aura of welcomeness as they help you with your luggage and give you a warm tea. Everybody was hard working but the BEST EMPLOYEE is by far MS. MOON. I have never seen such a hard working person and such a kind soul, she really went above and beyond and made my trip even better than I could have imagined. Also honorable mention to Deez and his colleague (at the bar), Heidi and Broken I recommend to both families and solo traveler this wonderful establishment

Big spacious rooms, nicely decorated for partners birthday. Nice fooftop bar to watch the sunset.

Restaurant food wasn’t fantastic was good. Also, hotel recommended we booked ha long bay cruise through them. Which I did, however when we arrived at the docks the captain told us we were on the wrong itinerary. To which I then contacted the hotel and they stated that they changed the itinerary which we paid for to a less touristy area which was in a complete different province to ha long bay. So book the cruise through another site so this doesn’t happen to you.

My stay at the Aurora Hotel was exceptional, thanks due the great staff who ensured my comfort and satisfaction. I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the front desk team, particularly Justin, Jenner, Richard, Lily and David who provided invaluable assistance thoughout the stay. Justin welcomed me with a genuine smile and efficiently handled the check-in process. Jenner provided helpful recommendations. Richard promptly addressed any queries and ensured my room was clean and well-maintained. Lily gave me good advice regarding health tips and ensuring I had a surprise on my birthday during my stay. David, was my Saviour as he went out of his way to come and pick me up on his motorbike when I was stranded at a far out restaurant on a very rainy night and no transport was available and I was due to fly out a few hours later. The level of personalized service I experienced at Aurora Hotel was exceptional. The hotel itself has charming decor, comfortable accommodations, and convenient amenities. We had a beautiful stay at Aurora Premium. Hotel was so clean, modern and beautiful. So central to everything and in the heart of the old quarter. The staff were so friendly and kind, went out their way to help us in every way possible. They also helped us arrange our trip to Ha Long Bay and Cat Binh. The sky bar is beautiful, great atmosphere and cocktails. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner has amazing views and lovely food. Special mention to Long the manager and one of the trainees on reception - she was lovely! All of the staff made us feel so welcome. We stayed in a few hotels in Hanoi and this was definitely our favourite!

my favourite part of the stay was the friendly team of hotel staff who kept themselves consistently approachable at all times. i would like to specially mention the hotel bellman, named "Black" as he never failed to make us felt like home throughout our stay. He was always the first person to greet us every morning at the hotel entrance and always served us cold drinks when we were sat at the hotel lobby. Despite not being fluent in english, he took every chance to speak to us and even recommended us places to go in Hanoi. The location of the hotel is perfect. There are plentiful of food options and massage parlours that are worth checking out within walking distance (eg. Banh Mi, MET Vietnamese Restaurant and Pizza) all situated along the same street. It was also less than 10mins away from Hoam Kiem Lake which was super convenient for first-time visitors. The room that we stayed in was exceptionally clean and the shower was quite spacious as well. There was quite a variety for breakfast, with a mix of both international and local options. Some dishes were even made-to-order. Overall, the breakfast room was cosy and offered a spectacular aeriel view of the Old Quarter. Aurora Hotel will definitely be in one of my top accommodation choices when I return to Hanoi in the future.

The location of the hotel is in the prime old quarter right at the walking street and the famous night market is just one lane behind. The hotel staff were amazing, everyone spoke well English. We stayed in three hotels in a span of 8 days and only in this hotel the staff were able to communicate in English. We were welcomed by a drink (tea), the check in process was smooth and fast. Airport shuttle service was provided by the hotel, they have sedans, Suv's and also a 12 seater bus. The lobby was as premium and beautiful as it can get, the rooms were amazing as well, big, well lit, 6x6 bed, balcony with not only curtains but also with sheer curtains. Multiple power sockets, a Samsung smart TV, a coffee table, a 4 seater sofa, 2 small glass tables, a mini fridge, a hair dryer and other non-mentionable things found in other hotels (kettle, cups etc). The bathroom had a tub, overhead shower, hand shower, washbasin, a complete toiletries kit, the pot had the spray jet as well xD On the 11th floor they have the restaurant and we were fornunate enough to have breakfast there. Breakfast timings are 6:30am - 9:30am The spread was huge, they have Vietnamese, and continental. On the 12th floor they have a roof top bar, during the check in we were given a coupon which entitled us to a free cocktail of out choice during 4:30pm - 6:30pm They call this sunset hours and yes the sunset can be seen from here. The best thing for me was the staff, they were super courteous, non-judgemental, always helpful. The entire staff had walkie-talkie and a ear piece on them, their coordination in anything and everything was just perfect. Thank you for hosting us Aurora
