The staffs were outstanding. They made sure we were well taken care of. They made our stay comfortable and assisted us with all our needs including the airport transfers. Superb location right at the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter. Walking distance to many shops, food places and spas, just right exactly what we needed. The best thing for us so far is that they have water heater and bidet. Basic things we look out for in considering an accommodation.

The hotel has no lift but we were lucky to get a room on the 3rd floor so we didn't actually mind it. Not to worry about bringing your luggages because the staffs were very happy to help carry your things to the room.

Love the location of the hotel, the service was great. The cleaning Ladies asked me if I wanted my room cleaned, which I kindly declined since I had just arrived. They are always ready to work. The Host was fast at responding my messages and answer my questions as soon as possible. She is really kind, and caring. If I ever come back again to Vietnam I won't hesitate to rebook here

There's nothing, just great service!

Location is great, right near the old quarter. Very clean and the room had what you need to sleep there. Hosts were very kind, helpful and friendly. The hotel has no elevator but in our opinion thats perfectly fine. Thats probably why its 2-star hotel, nevertheless, the hotel is at least a 3-star hotel, in my opinion, after spending my time in many hotels on my trips around the world. Definitely the hotel I will book when going back to Hanoi. The price compared to service and room its probably unbeatable in Hanoi and elsewhere.

There is nothing to mention here.

The beds were really comfy. We were able to check in very early. Booking trips/transport via the hotel was very convenient and decent price. Contact via Whatsapp was helpful. Friendly staff. Good location.

We ran out of hot water on the first night (not sure if we accidentally turned it off as switches were not labelled). The guy on the night shift didn't really understand/speak English so couldn't get it sorted until the next day. When booking our transfer we asked for a 10am bus which was agreed. Later it turned out that the bus leaves Hanoi at 10am so pick up was 9.20...Still a very smooth transfer, just be aware of this. Glad we didn't ask for the 8am! Ps. Hotel has 6 floors no lift although we didn't mind.

Very modern and clean hotel room. Location was excellent and so central. Staff were so friendly and helped us arrange a trip to Cat Ba after our stay in Hanoi. Highly recommend.

There was no lift available when we stayed so had to go up 5 flights of stairs each time we went to our room but not sure if this was only temporary.

The hotel is centrally located in the Old Quarter so it's really easy to explore the city on foot. We stayed for 3 nights before going to Halong Bay and then one night after returning to Hanoi from Halong Bay before continuing our journey south. The second stay was better as the room was slightly bigger and not as cramped.

The first room we stayed in was a bit cramped and the water pressure in the shower was terrible. Construction noise nearby woke us early each morning but in such a big city that could be expected, a bit more soundproofing might help though. What annoyed us the most was the constant sales pitches from the reception staff about tours, including regular WhatsApp messages. It made us feel really awkward turning them down each time. It made the friendliness of the staff feel forced as if it was just to get us to book tours.

Hotel location is great, it is in a corner of the street so very quite. We found it clean and room was big enough for us two and the luggages. The receptionist, Ngau, was exceptional ! She provided us valuable information on the trips to do around and book us the tour and taxi. We were even allow to drop our bags and take a shower while visiting back Hanoi. Truly a good person who speak good English and French :)

For the price we paid, I can't conplain

The room felt very clean and the most updated in terms of decoration out of the hotels we have stayed at! We got upgraded to a bigger room during our stay at no extra cost which was lovely 😁

There is no lift in the building, meaning you have to walk up numerous flights of stairs to get to your room. Also the bathroom could have been cleaner, there was a fair bit of hair left in the bath when we checked into our room.

Had stayed here previously and was very happy with everything, so pleased to see it was still available for this trip. They accommodated a very late arrival and changed me back down to 'my old room' on the first floor the following day, as six flights of stairs are hard work for a 78 year old! Front desk staff were particularly helpful and friendly. Seems incongruous in that climate, but the relaxing bath was divine.

I missed the breakfasts of old, but gather they might be coming back with the hopefully rise in international travellers again. Small point, but during the daytime the front office staff were often 'away upstairs' probably undertaking housekeeping duties?...and it took a lot of shouting up the stairs by a small boy to get anyone's attention (I accept that in these difficult times, staff shortages are inevitable). But this didn't overshadow an otherwise very pleasing stay.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, with an excellent location. However the main reason you should stay here is because of the staff, especially Ngau who not only made sure we were comfortable but helped us plan some more of our trip. She organised an amazing tour with a very good price to Ha long Bay on a cruise, and she also organised a trip to Sa Pa where we experienced local life - she sorted all the night buses and taxis to the airport for when we were home from the tour too! She did this all very last minute and was very organised, putting no pressure on us at all! The tours she has links with are absolutely amazing and wish we could have someone like her at every hotel! Thank you Ngau for our stay, you made it incredibly special and memorable 🙌10/10 recommend this hotel!
