I liked the location because it was convenient for me, making it easy to access nearby attractions or my intended destinations.

It’s reasonable to feel that as a guest, parking should be included as part of the service, especially when staying at a hotel or similar accommodations. Whether the booking was made directly or through a third-party app, offering complimentary parking is a gesture of hospitality and adds to a positive guest experience. Even if the parking fee is minimal, waiving it for guests aligns with the idea of making them feel welcome and appreciated. Many guests, like yourself, consider this a reflection of the establishment’s values and customer care. If you feel strongly about this, you could share your feedback with the hotel management to encourage them to consider a more guest-friendly policy in the future.

This hotel was fantastic. Great location: a five-minute walk from Manuka Village which has lovely cafe's, restaurants, and a giant, reasonably-priced Cole's, and a 10-minute walk from Kingston shops. The #6 bus stops right near the hotel and can take you to major museums and the CBD. I stayed in room 509, which was pin-drop quiet, had a view of Mount Ainslie, and hands down the best-equipped kitchen I've ever had in an apartment hotel: full-size fridge and freezer, oven and stovetop, dishwasher, plus an array of pots, pans, and utensils. There was a washing machine, a dryer (!!!) and a drying rack that you can place on the small but comfy terrace. The bed was firm. The bathroom was spacious. The shades blocked the light completely at night. The people at the front desk were responsive, friendly, and helpful. The gym was pretty well equipped and roomy. I didn't try the restaurant for food but they made good coffee.

We picked it because it was very close to the Kingston pub where I was attending a 50 year school reunion. The staff were ALL charming and helpful. We visited Joe’s bar and had a lovely time. We felt genuinely welcome. In the morning we had breakfast in the restaurant and once again it was excellent with charming staff.

I would have appreciated free parking in the tariff and think it would be a good move to include parking in the price. As it was we parked across the road and it was fine. As is common with most mini bars the prices are eye watering so I didn’t bother. It’s not a problem but I wonder why the prices for a beer are always crazy. I guess someone or their company must pay sometimes.

We stayed one night for our anniversary and when we arrived at the room there was a bottle of Prosecco and nougat with a card for us. We also got upgraded to a much bigger apartment with the genius discount which was awesome! Everything was very clean and spacious and the staff were exceptional. We had dinner and breakfast at Agostini's. The restaurant was busy at dinner but there wasn't too much of wait on the food coming out and the staff were lovely.

The only thing that I found was the pillows on the bed needed to be a bit bigger and softer and perhaps a mattress topper on the bed would have been a little more comfortable.

Great location. Loved the option for a daily afternoon lolly treat at the check in counter. Option for room service from down stairs pizza/ Italian restaurant or fabulous pub across the road for dinner. Breakfast was enjoyed 500m away at the Vanillapod - very reasonably priced and delicious. lots of local food options, Very easy to access all the Canberra highlights. Block out blinds - beautifully dark and quiet room.

Difficult to snag a free parking spot ( but we did each night ) otherwise $20 per night on site. My bed was a little hammock like - not terrible though. Linen and pillow were lovely. Water saving shower head not enjoyed.

Loved the vibe in the foyer area. It was alive and not dead like so many other hotels. I know it ws winter but it invited us to "stay in" and eat and drink at your venues rather than go out. The room was big and comfortable and I love that it has apartment facilities and a balcony that opens.

Didnt like paying so much extra for parking. This was a surprise and not expexcted. Given it is Canberra --- most people drive, but I would have liked the added cost disclosed before we came. ( Sorry if it was and I didn't see it... but that also is a problem.)

Great location walking distance to restaurants in Kingston and Manuka. There is also an in house restaurant and coffee shop for breakfast etc. The room was spacious and very well presented. Little touches like fruit in the foyer and biscuits and a few jars of lollies. There is a fire downstairs too. The check in was quick and easy. We have stayed here before and will again.

I think that having to pay to park is a bit much given the amount of parking on the property. And the food in the restaurant was very underwhelming and expensive which was a disappointment.

Our stay at East Hotel was fantastic. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment which was a very good size with a large, well appointed, kitchen area, spacious living area and very comfortable bedroom and bathroom. The amenities provided were generous and the TV/iPad system was great. Walking distance to local cafes and restaurants. Parking was a breeze. Little extras like water and lollies in the main reception area make the stay feel a little bit extra. This was our first time staying here, we travel to Canberra roughly twice a year and will be happy to return! Thank you :)

Great area and hotel to stay, close to many good bars and restaurants good staff working the downstairs bar and restaurant, nice up grade thankyou.. all lovely apart from mentioned comments..

The standard Canberra sting for hotel car parking when booked using Bookinging.com and looks like they supply breakfast to ppl that don't book through B.com, Shower Silicon looking a bit old and infected in the bathroom...wouldn't be very hard to replace. King bed are 2 beds that are joined together comphy but could be better..

Room was very nicely appointed and presented. Top marks for fitout and equipment with cooking facilities, a decent sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher and full compliment of cooking equipment, utensils and crockery. Restaurant in the lobby is excellent, if a little pricey. Local shops are a 10-minute walk and are fabulous.

Car park roof was too low for our SUV with a roof box (we were on the way to/returning from the snow) and street parking was non-existent save for illegal parking on the footpath across the road, which apparently is what everyone does.
