Perfect location, just cross the road and your in the CBD. Clean, bed was comfortable and parking onsite.

Our washing machine was faulty and one of the reasons we stay in apartments was to wash our clothes as we only bring a small suitcase. Staff offered me to wash in another apartment but I was there to holiday not to be running between apartments. They did offer to do that for me but I wasn't willing to trust a stanger with washing our clothes. It was the total inconvenience of it all and having to buy more things to wear. They should of moved us to another apartment. Also, the shower was a bath style with a shower curtain that kept sticking to you while you shower.

We got upgraded from a studio room to a 1 bed + office apartment (thanks!). I must say that when we rocked up to the place, I didn't have high hopes from the outside, but more fool me for judging a book by it's cover, as the actual room was really nice! Reception was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy and bathroom was nice. Also great location!!!

The parking is $20 per day underneath the hotel, but I imagine that's pretty standard pricing being in a city so I'm not taking off any points for that, just mentioning for people wanting to park. (In saying that, it's worth the convenience to have your car underneath in my opinion). We weren't able to use our balcony at the time of our visit - reception did explain why and it wasn't within their control so not their fault and also I don't even think our original room had a balcony so definitely not complaining when we got the upgraded room, just something to be mindful of if you're booking around this time (Feb/March 2024) and you want a balcony, might be worth calling to double check.

The location was great - close to the centre with lots of choices for restaurants and cafes, as well as a close walk to Lake Burley Griffin. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the QR code in the room was a great way to find out more about the hotel facilities.

The terrace outside our room could be improved with a few plants to make it a nicer place to sit, and the kettle may have been too small if I'd wanted to make more than one cup at a time. The only real problem, however, was our stay being too short to enjoy it more!

It was such an amazing experience despite those not so pleasant comments that I read before my trip to Canberra. Upon arrival, I was upgraded to suite with home office which was so perfectly fit for my travel purpose. Everything was in great condition especially the heater. The apartment is clean and conducive that provided me a healing environment during my stay in Canberra. Also the staff were very friendly and able to assist with all my requests with their smile and patience. Thank you.

There is nothing I don't like

I was upgraded to a one bedroom. The room was large with a full kitchen, including an oven. There was a living room and TV as well. There were many brochures in the lobby with tourist info, including a bike rental company who was great. The balcony on the room was nice.

The furniture was a bit dated. The room could've been a bit cleaner, but that's normal with carpeted hotels. There was daily turndown service, but none of the towels or sheets were replaced so it was just kind of like someone had come in the room and moved a couple things.

Location is right in the heart of Civic, perfect walking distance to restaurants, shopping Centre, bars, clubs etc. Room was much bigger than expected. Honestly my favourite place to stay, I usually look out for these guys as my first choice as they are such great value for money. Staff are always exceptional.

Shower was a bit old but still a great shower. Parking is the only downside, having a bigger car I had to park in the car park nearby and walk over. Parking is also subject to availability so you won't know if you'll get a park until you check in anyway.

Large, comfortable room which was made up daily with fresh towels. The towels were soft and fluffy.

The pool was freezing cold on our first visit. It was warmer on the second occasion, but seemed like the staff only turned the heating on when someone was in the pool. There was a hidden car park charge of $20 per night

All necessary facilities for a multi-day stay. Very comfortable. Allocated parking spot for length of stay. Right beside Civic, so walking distance to everything. Staff were great.

Our apartment was close to a (presumably separate) cafe, cooking smells penetrated apartment. Not a real issue as we were out and about all day, but it could annoy others.

All the amenities you would need provided, lovely staff, good layout to the room, good views from the top floor, close to the tennis court and swimming pool.

The bed was two beds/mattresses put together which meant the middle section of the bed was extremely uncomfortable because it wasn’t a smooth surface.

Great location, walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants and shops. Would've liked another couple of days exploring the area. Apartment was cosy and warm, not just in terms of heat during the Canberra winter but also in terms of furniture. Felt great coming back after long days out to a nice homely feel.

The restricted parking situation caused a bit of stress. I fully understood before hand we may not be able to get a park, but the alternative for overnight parking given was a Secure Parking building that was no longer in operation (I let Reception know). We were able to find overnight free street parking close by so it worked out well in the end, but I think if you're travelling with young kids, anyone with restricted abilities or a lot of luggage this might be stressful for you. Beware if travelling with 3 people; the cost to make up the sofa bed for the third person is not included. It is written in the small print but you may not realise like me. Makes quite a difference to the cost.
