Our room was clean, warm, beds super comfortable! Kids loved the pool and spa. Pool is a tad cold, but kids still swam. Pool towels were provided which was super handy. Our room came with a bath, again which was super handy for kids. Staff super friendly. Buffet Breakfast was fantastic and lots to choose for kids and adults. Super close to shops and main city centre.

Parking was additional $30 per night. Just be careful if you park then leave with your car, you may not be able to park there again due to it being full, there is free parking a little further away.

Everything was close by, the room was great for our family.

The indoor pool isn't heated, it wasn't a warm day but my kids wanted a swim and it was freezing in the pool area and the pool itself.

Our room was quiet and comfortable.

It was a shame the spa was out of service for our one night stay.

Having read previous reviews we found the room very comfortable with everything to our liking. The building is probably one of the early Canberra buildings in CBD and we can’t really complain about it being dated. If one is using public transport or taxis then this is excellently situated Once you have sorted out car park the hotel is nice inside

It has no pick up and drop off area by the foyer so upon arrival one has to look for parking in busy street outside. There is a small car park under the hotel and costs $32 per day and if full a valet takes your car offsite and returns it on request. Suggest they include a discounted breakfast for stays of two days or more to be more competitive

central location clean rooms staff friendly and eager to help

original booked room bathroom was too small for me to move around in. Reception was very happy to help find a more suitable room though. Carpark was absolute bedlam with people taking permit parking spots without a disablility permit or any care about people who needed the spots. it would be great if the parking spaces are to be pre-booked to avoid issues with guests.

The location was just perfect for my needs. The staff were friendly and helpful – whether that was check in, check out or room service.

The cleaning staff need to be given more time when people check out. Check out is 11am, but the housekeeping person assigned to clean my room, kept wanting to do so well before 11am (I was still working), because she was on such a tight timetable. This is unfair to her, and to me, who needed to keep working, and wanted to do so in the room I'd paid for until (just before) 11am. This is minor, but wifi is advertised, and then mentioned in the hotel info: so it was a tad annoying that the room wifi did not work.

they upgraded us, we arrived about 7pm, once we went to our room we went to the bat/ restaurant on the first floor and enjoyed a pizza and wine. the staff where excellent and looked after us and they were very busy.

they couldn’t find our reservation, the receptionist spent at least 5 minutes and I gave him my Booking.Com reservation and still couldn’t find it, the night manager came out and spent 5 minutes looking for the reservation and finally found it, and then ga e us an upgrade which was appreciated. don’t know why they could find booking .Com reservation

We had a great time. The hotel staff where always happy and courteous. Lovely little surprise in the fridge for our daughters birthday and a card! Thanks so much!

Menu at the restaurant could be updated.

Great location, easy walk to the shopping centre and great restaurants. Pool and spa were great. The kids love it.

The carpark. Never knowing if there would a carpark available when you got back to the hotel. It happened twice that the carpark was full. We were lucky enough to eventually find a park, but it differently made you think twice about it. Especially night time.

The location is fantastic. Food was great. Had a family dinner and they couldn't be more accommodation for 13 of us. The young girl who was looking after us on the Saturday night should be commended, She took all our orders and nothing was wrong with anything, The food came out fast and the kids got served first.

Parking was a nightmare! The parking is private at the hotel, which is fine but with a big event on the carpark filled quickly. They gave us a map of carparks in the area, but we drove around for an hour looking for a carpark that wasn't full. Eventually we got one after calling the hotel back and asking. This was not on the map of carparks. But when booking it would be good if someone could actually state the car park options. It just had private parking. If we had another option it would have helped or a warning that the carpark could fill quickly.
