Pros: huge bedroom, super clean, separate sink by fridge, robes, great location for being walking distance to both the city and ANU. Also super helpful staff: Gabriel was fantastic! I would definitely stay there again.

My only negative points of feedback are: 1: The mini-bar fridge; it's stocked with drinks and has special grooves for them, which makes it hard to fit in things of your own. 2: The system for signalling whether or not you want daily cleaning (button on door *and* sign you hang on door) could have been explained a little better upon check-in.

Size of the rooms and quality furnishings and fixtures. The kitchen was also well equipped whilst we did not use this it would benefit someone staying longer Bathroom was lovely with nice toiletries. It was a nice touch that you could nominate not have your room cleaned etc everyday with an added bonus of $ 20 food/beverage voucher to use in the excellent attached Restuarant Marble & Grain every time you chose this option. I was still able to get extra teabags from reception. Quiet, even though you are on light railway and fairly main road

Furniture on balcony was a little bit basic, table and two chairs, not overly comfortable

The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the shower was hot and strong. perfect after a long day sightseeing, and the location was within walking distance to some of the best eateries in the whole of Canberra.

Scammers had intercepted communications between myself and the hotel via Booking.com, sending obviously fake emails via the booking.com message service allegedly from the hotel, but which were not from the hotel. I contacted both booking.com and the hotel about the issue but nothing had been fixed, to the point the scammers were continuing to send me emails allegedly from the hotel, even after I finished my stay.

Location ideal. Many restaurants in nearby Lonsdale Street . Also within walking distance of Canberra Centre and Floriade . Rooms were well appointed . Bed very comfortable . Great attention to detail . All staff were extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. My car flat battery problem was quickly resolved with the prompt and expert help of hotel receptionist . Great breakfast options and helpful, friendly staff.

Disappointed we had to pay extra for undercover parking. This should be included in the price of a 5 Star Hotel.

The whole place is so beautiful, yet so simple and doesn't feel at all over the top. On arrival we were greeted by such warm and welcoming staff, and despite some complications on our end they were so patient and kind. We opted for the breakfast buffet, and the staff at the steakhouse were also so so kind and lovely. I wish I got some names to mention but honestly they were all so friendly and kind! So many places within walking distance too, so dinner out was a breeze and we had such a nice few nights out and about.

Personally found the bed to be a little *too* plush and soft, I prefer a firmer mattress. Can't complain though, was still very comfortable.

Modern, stylish complex. Room was very well designed and good layout, having separate bedroom and bathrooms to main lounge and kitchenette spaces. Nice balcony off bedroom and lounge areas. Parking down stairs had plenty of spaces available. Location is ideal, close to a number of restaurants and bars and really enjoyed a few of those.

$20 parking per night was unexpected. Apparently it’s free when booking with hotel directly. Parking should be free for any hotel guest and regardless of platform used to book.

-Spacious rooms; a very comfortable lounging area separate from the bedroom, and a nice kitchenette available. -Rainforest showerhead in bathroom, plus a large body lotion dispenser (great for preparing against skin getting dry from the Canberra cold weather). -A voucher scheme is available for discounts at the hotel's affiliated restaurant if you forgo daily room service. -The location is great for walking (<10 mins) to nearby restaurants (there is a 24 hrs Maccers nearby as well).

-Although generally quite clean, there were abit of wear and tear in some parts of the room

The location, presentation of the room and car parking were convenient and fantastic. The location to food and the CBD are key to my stays in Canberra and suite with separate room, perfect for work and rest. I was especially impressed with the low cost parking, please don't get greedy with this! It's a winner.

The only criticism I had was the staff engagement. Staff were nice enough, however you are in the Service Industry and I felt more like a burden to them, rather than a guest. Don't like fake niceness, however presenting options rather than just saying no, clearly not understanding processes and not making eye contact really detracted from the stay. These things can make the different to returning or not. The bed was very+++++ soft and not comfortable.

From the moment we arrived until check out everything was perfect. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and was plenty big enough, very clean and bed was very comfortable. Blackout curtains for me was a bonus . Basic kitchenette was all we needed and a dinning table for 6( no small round table here ) Plenty of underground parking for a small charge. Location is very central , an easy walk to shopping district. Staff were friendly and gave our granddaughter a colouring pack which was a backpack you colour in. A nice touch , Thank you.

Proximity to bus interchange was only a short walk and you could travel to most of the interesting places easily. Buses at the moment are free, another bonus. Excellent buffet breakfast. If you choose not to have your room made up every day, you receive a $10 voucher per day to use in the cafe/restaurant.

Would be good to have free bottled water in the rooms. In our particular room, it would be more practical to swap the desk and the 2 armchairs around so that you can watch TV at night from a comfortable chair.
