Perfect location, friendly staff, clean rooms, loved the pillows.

The beds are old and too small

Great location for overnight prior to cruise ship holiday.

We had two rooms, we had an upgrade for one of them which was great. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient, as were housekeeping. The hotel was very full and they coped well.

The rooms are starting to look a little tired, the bathrooms could definitely do with an update. Only one power point next to the bed which meant that if you wanted to put a charger in you had to unplug the clock. I understand this is not something easily fixed, just more of a comment for future visitors information. We went to Silvesters for a drink on Saturday evening and they seemed very understaffed, it is table service only and it took 20 minutes to get someone to take our order (the bar was not at all busy at that time). On such a busy weekend (Taylor Swift concert weekend) it would have been good to have more staff on.

Close to Harbour - easy quick walk with in 2 minutes to train and ferry and circular key. 10-12 min walk to Opera house Clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy and king pillows Sylvester’s resturant in side the hotel was great dinning and service. Check in was quick and easy

Breakfast was expensive @$48 extra PN or pay per day usage. There is to be fair a cafe option at another stop in the hotel but that takes a long time for them to serve a coffee let alone a breakfast. No coffee machine in room ( for price of hotel stay per night this should be in the room) only had a kettle and instant coffee any cheap old hotel room has that yuk. Strange hanging light with huge shade dangles down so low in front of the full length mirror you can only see your midriff and legs and if you get to close crash into it , I’m 5’6 and banged my face on it so if you taller than I then good luck seeing your yourself in it!! Weird place for a light to hang low…

I loved my beautiful handicapped room. Very spacious.

Check in was extremely slow. Even though it was the arrival day of our ship, the lobby was jammed with people. They had 3 staff on duty. They need to be prepared for these days. They know a year ahead when the ships dock. The concierge desk could be moved and more check in desks provided even if only for ship days. I was in a handicapped room. The shower was extremely dangerous. Not while taking the shower but as I stepped out if it my bathmat was soaking wet, plus 1/2 of the floor was covered in water. Maybe they thought I was going to use the hand shower while seated but I used it standing up. I was then left with one bath towel and once I was fairly dry I used it to cover the rest of the floor that was wet.

The hotel working on some maintenance work and when we were checking out, it was raining and v inconvenient as we need to walk out to get taxi Found a strand of hair on the ham of the buffet table for breakfast Breakfast was overpriced at $48/ pax. When we book through booking.com, it says a family room for 4 people and breakfast provided but when we reached there, we noticed the room was twin room but can accommodate 4 pple but breakfast only provided for 2!! So we have to pay for 2 kids at 48x2. Booking.com should spelt it out clearly as the info is misleading

Great service. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and friendly smile. Our room wasn't quite ready, but the cloak room service to store our bags was very convenient. The view of the harbour was spectacular, and the bed was very comfortable

Our soap dispensor in the shower was empty and was on the floor - the sticky had lost its stickiness and fallen. I don't recall there being any hand soap at the wash basin. We improvised to meet our immediate needs and used shampoo. We called reception and someone brought up a full soap dispensor. I forgot to mention about the sticky problem, but we placed the soap dispensor on the shower soap holder. It was no biggy, but thought that's the only point of improvement.

Really friendly staff and they were also very patient I watched an interaction between an elderly guest and staff member in the restaurant this morning during breakfast service. The staff member had a smile on his face the entire time despite the man wanting a long chat and taking up his time and the staff member was so polite despite being busy. Also the Buffett breakfast was amazing. Unbelievable selection of foods. Best I have ever seen. Impressive

The room looks a bit tired with old bathroom floor tiles which were little bit stained with dirt. I would expect you to provide nice teas like T2 and maybe have complimentary biscuits

The day before I arrived, I received a message from the hotel on the Booking.com app asking for a check-in time. I told them at that time that it was my son's birthday celebration and when I checked in, went out and came back, I found a lovely birthday cake in my room. I was very happy and impressed by the thoughtfulness of the hotel. The night we arrived, we ordered dinner from room service. The pasta was so-so, but the fried rice was the best. The salad, pasta and fried rice were all in generous portions, and the three of us shared just the right amount. It is just near Circular Quay, It was a great location for sightseeing. Easy access to trams and trains, It was easy to get around.

One problem, The rooms were not cleaned on consecutive nights. They didn't towel change, so I asked the staff who were cleaning the other rooms to change the towels.

Location was ideal to the place we need to go to. Room a bit smaller than what the picture shows but adequate for a good night sleep.

Took a while to locate our luggage after leaving at the counter (complementary service). The internal communication could be improved as we finally was able to locate our luggage only after locating the staff that collect our luggage. Probably could be due to the peak season where there a large number of luggage to be "kept temporary" after check out. Pity the staff looking all over the place searching for the luggage as it was kept in a different location due to peak occupancy.
