We liked the pool area surrounded by palms, the convenience of Woolworths opposite, the quietness of our townhouse even though there is plenty of activity at the resort and being a walk or short Uber ride from everything we were interested in visiting. Were concerned that from photo that upstairs dark and hot but not so, could open windows, area had its own fan and split system. We would like to stay again next year.
Tiles need to be remortared where the ants come in and outside walls need repainting and some air conditioners replaced to meet the standard inside the townhouse.

Great staff and nice place to stay.
There needs to be security at the hotel for the safety of the staff especially. We witnessed multiple people coming in and out of the hotel who were drunk, fighting and not guests of the hotel. We shared an elevator with a very large man who had previously been acting aggressive. This was at 10:30pm. A child had given him the key. He asked us how to get up the elevator and we didn’t feel safe to say no. He shouldn’t have been allowed in and the staff were put in really scary situations. Luckily no one was hurt but I can imagine the turnover of staff will increase given what they have to go through every day.

The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is big, with a wonderful shower. Easy access in and out of the hotel, easy walk into the city or drive to local places in or around Darwin. Car park was secure. Hotel was very clean and friendly. Rooms were serviced daily which was great too. We hired a car and drove to Litchfeild, saw the Croc Zoo out of town, went to Katherine Gorge and Edith Falls and the Mindil Markets. We experienced many of the wonderful restaurants in Darwin. Best eating spot for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner was "Cool Spot" in Fannie Bay. All easy access from TravelLodge.
Could do with some garden maintenance in and around the pool area would make it exceptional. Good pool area though.

I loved how the resort was fully secure with electronic gates. Gave us girls a real sense of safety at night. Loved the pool and the full breakfast each day. The staff were very respectful and helpful as well. It was a great place to stay.
Wasn’t really anything I could fault except there wasn’t a book in the room that welcomed you to their resort like other places have. Never knew if they had room service for meals… but I never asked about it either so that’s ok I didn’t need it. I think they could have had some info on what was happening in and around the city. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

The location is perfect in the Darwin. A special thanks to Danny, the Indian guy with a moustache and the bilingual french English speaker, all three were on the reception and were very nice and helpful. A special thanks for the guy's restaurant for his patience to wait for us finish our breakfast. My son really liked the pool.
We were not aware that we should not turn off the aircon. This cause my laptop to be damaged as well as the smart watch of my hubby, by humidity. It was too late for us to complaint as we already left the premises and we have been made aware of that later on.

Large comfortable room with motel standard bathroom. Great multi-channel TV . Attractive tropical swimming pool. Short walk to two major supermarkets, top bars w live music and decent restaurants. Crocosaurus Cove and all the banks within less than ten minutes walk. Darwin Waterfront, cenotaph, and state buildings within twenty minutes.
Very expensive for motel standard facilities. Bathroom badly designed: cannot open shower door without first shutting bathroom door. Soap and shampoo dispensers to high and pump action nozzle to short for lock-on frame. Shower hot and cold water taps primitive and resulting mix insensitive w extreme temperatures.

The airconditioning was superb. The pillows were of good quality. The fridge was a nice size for us to put our snacks and drinks we got from Woolworths and BWS which was just across the road.
One of the swimming pools were on the warm side on our first time we used it but after overnight rain it cooled sufficiently. It was just one of those really hot and humid days in the Darwin summer. A fire alarm was triggered off at 1am one night and we had to evacuate. Should have found out what the cause was. The room's phone (363) wasnt working but I forgot to report it. Still, was a great stay.

THE LOCATION WAS CENTRAL TO EVERYTHING. THERE WAS A GOOD SIZE POOL/SPA AREA WITH A BAR THERE TO ORDER DRINKS & FOOD. TOWELS YOU CAN GET FROM THE FRONT DESK. THE HOTEL HAD A RESTAURANT FOR BREAKFAST. STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. ROOM WAS CLEAN & COMFORTABLE TO SLEEP IN.
THE SPA WAS NOT WORKING WHEN WE WERE THERE AND THE WATER WAS FREEZING IN THE POOL CONSIDERING IT WAS 30 DEGREES. SHAME THE SPA WAS NOT WORKING WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO USING IT. THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY BASIC FOR A TRAVEL LODGE HOTEL CHAIN. NOT MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM.

We did not have breakfast which in the past has been excellent. The problem is they close breakfast at 9am, too early for me 10am would be great.
Please do not put me in a position where i am arguing with staff regarding parking fees. I will not stay at accommodation that charges for such greedy fees. This was not expected as i have stayed at this accommodation several times previously. They wisely did not in the end appear to have charged me for parking.

The room was a lot bigger than I expected. We drove a long way - over 10 hours to get there and my husband was offered a couple of beers on arrival. We were also offered late check out which we really appreciated after such a long day/night. The shower had great water pressure and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Travel Lodge is really close to Woolworths , just a short walk , so it was great to pop uptown in the morning and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checkout. We definitely appreciated the location and the room was really good value for the money.
When we booked it said the booking came with breakfast. As I booked for myself and my husband , we expected to have breakfast booked for two people. Breakfast also ended at 9.30 and since we didn't check in until after midnight we decided not to worry about having breakfast there and went out, so it didn't really bother us too much, we appreciated the late check out more.
