Location and onsite parking. 2.5 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms was a good size for our family of 5. If you can oversee the lack of cleanliness, lack of maintenance and lacklustre staff, you may still enjoy the accommodation and position here.

Room 1402 was fitted out with cheap (and broken) Kmart lamps and furnishings. Dirty bathrooms (we question if the ensuite had been cleaned at all?!), stained and dirty furnishings, and a lack of cleanliness and general maintenance throughout (shower head in ensuite, broken toilet roll holder, splits in plaster and paint patches, no shower curtain in 2nd bathroom) ruined what could have been an amazing apartment and experience. With a deep clean, a lick of paint and some pride and care, this apartment and the complex as a whole could be absolutely amazing and a stand out in Palm Cove.

2 bedroom apartment was a comfortable size for a family of 4. Pool area & gardens were beautiful & really felt like a resort. View from our room was lovely looking out to the treetops & pool. Location was fantastic with beach across the road & great coffee options at the cafe near reception.

Second bedroom was tiny & didn’t have 2 separate beds as requested & discussed at time of booking. Ended up getting a trundle bed as there wasn’t another room available to swap to. Bathrooms needed a good scrub as the grout is discoloured & dirty. No bottle opener, tea towel or bbq tools provided. Spa was murky & had a foamy film on it the 5 days we were there. Heavily used & probably just sunscreen but we avoided it.

I saw this place on a previous visit to Palm Cove and was happy to be able to stay there for my next trip. The location is perfect. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The facilities are awesome, especially the swimming pool, probably the best in Palm Cove, and when you are in such a warm location a great pool is a necessity!

There was a constant noise coming from the air conditioning area. Apparently, it is an exhaust that is on all the time, Staff called maintenance straight away and they disconnected it for the duration of my stay, From then on I slept like a log, I think the windows are double-glazed because it is really nice and quiet when you close them.

Great location with the best cafe downstairs. Across the road from the beach, great view from the room, great wifi, comfy beds

The place was nice and clean but the carpet in the bedroom was dirty. It’s stained so it needed a professional clean. The toilet seat in the ensuite was broken too

We had a two bedroom family apartment that opened directly onto the pool area. The outside table and chairs for the unit looked straight onto the greenery and 30 metre tall gums in the pool area.

The queen mattress on the main bed had a heavy foam overmattress on it which did not give proper sleeping support. We exchanged the mattress and top in the main bedroom with the mattress in the second bedroom, and that was acceptable although not 10 out of 10. Having to lug mattresses from one bedroom to another at 11 pm is not good, and the property loses a mark for this (although otherwise excellent)

We were upgraded to a roomy older style apartment with a large balcony & view of the beachfront. It was very comfortable with a spacious lounge room, well equipped kitchen & a laundry with an extra toilet & hand basin. The bedroom opened out onto the large verandah which had a nice sofa, coffee table & dining table with four chairs at the other end. The pool was a huge,inviting lagoon style with tropical & local trees providing shade over the meandering deck. It had many private areas to relax in.

The shower over the bath was a bit dangerous & outdated.!!

The pool area was amazing! The size of the pool and the lounges being surrounded by gorgeous palm trees. The room that we had was ok , a little outdated. wish the bed was at least queen size and more comfortable… upset my back . Everything worked in the apartment and the aircon was awesome. Management was very helpful for anything we asked.

Bed to soft / small and on wheels. We luckily had 2 bathrooms but both tired looking…..definitely not inviting . lounge area also not inviting, I dislike the fully tiled room with kitchenette and sofa area as one . Even just a rug to make the lounge area feel separate would of helped. unfortunately the apartments have different owners and many won’t update , hope this changes . We had rm 1301 .

We had a family of five including three kids (two were teenagers). The space in three bedroom apartment was fabulous for us! All beds were generous sizes and very comfy- can easily fit 4 smaller kids if needed. On level 3 our view was towards the pool which was really amazing especially at night with amazing blue pool and kerosene lamps surrounding it- very tropical and holiday mood setting :) Pros: Very large and amazing pool, generous bath towels and friendly staff all over the place, really walking distance to cafes, bars and restaurants and ice creams! Also, kitchen was decent- Smeg one. Cons: it's a renovated resort so in the apartments the bathroom decor/finishings were still in the 80's style, very basic sinks and shower in ensuite, no air vents so fogs glasses after shower :(, toaster was unusable so ordered a replacement which was brand new!, not enough dishwashing powders so had to ask for this repeatedly, not much tea bags and overall lighting was bit dull. There were no bedside lamps to do any reading, no fly screens when lots of mosquitoes around and lastly balcony had cushions and seat covers that needed a big wash- looked unwelcoming- sorry!

The pool was absolutely amazing, the layout of the deck was really lovely too!. The loft apartment was amazing, really great for a couple. So much balcony spacy as well.

The lifts felt a little unsafe. They were also broken at one point during our stay so we had to walk all the way around to another set of lifts on the other side of the complex and then walk back.

The pool, spa & garden surrounds are amazing. It was like a 'mini paradise' with the crystal clear water & lush tropical plants. Ample space for all pool visitors. Plenty of sun deck chairs & pool toys. The location was fantastic. A small walk to the beach. Many retail shops & eateries along the Esplanade. The room had comfy beds and a good layout. The room location was in a nice quiet spot. We were on an upper level of the complex with great views over the pool area. Our room was easily accessible by a lift.

It was our oversight, but we didn't realise, until we arrived, that the 2 bedrooms in our 2 bedroom apartment were only separated by a sliding frosted window! There was only furniture for 2 people on the outdoor deck but we had 4 in our family. The furnishings (dining chairs, sofa, window coverings) & some of the kitchen equipment (microwave - door button kept sticking)in the apartment are all a bit 'tired'. This could be due to the owners trying to 'stay afloat' during COVID and not having 'extra' $$$ available to upgrade these items. It would help to have instructions in the ensuite on how to use the shower over bath. The air-conditioning ducts need a good clean & fasten.
