Loved the location and the brilliant pool! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Love the mantra and will definitely book again!

Some very minor things… The two beds together was ok. We did notice it comes up in the middle. No big deal but just wanted to let you know it’s not the comfiest. Next time, we will probably go for a bigger room as a week with very little kitchen space was a bit annoying. Also just an fyi, we noticed the shampoo and body wash were really watery. I’m guessing water from the shower is getting into them.

Perfect location on Williams Esplanade. The apartment was very spacious and overlooked the pool. Comfortable bed, good air conditioning and ceiling fans.

Four levels of stairs, no lift. Quite a number of steps throughout the property to be navigated when entering or leaving via the pool area. Poorly equipped kitchen in the event that you would prefer to cook rather than dine out each night, for example, no saucepans. (I suspect they were in the owner’s locked cupboards.) Old cutlery and crockery. I would consider staying longer next time if there were better provisions.

The location is perfect on the beach. Quiet, comfortable and well placed as a base to explore from. The pool was excellent for a relaxed and uncrowded swim.

Well these are minor points, but easily fixed. The WiFi cut off late on the evening of our 7th day. It should have been available for the whole stay. The TV’s could not be connected to WiFi and did not have screen sharing from our mobiles, so we were restricted to a diet of commercial laden TV. The promised cooking facilities were lacking a proper oven. It was basically a microwave/ grill? Whilst the apartment was spotlessly clean, one persistent cockroach evaded captured, but it’s tropical North Queensland so we weren’t too phased.

The pool was perfect, so big and our kids loved it! The pool even kept warm on the rare cooler days during our stay. The kids had so much fun. The rooms were big and we had a kitchen full of all we could need. It was conveniently located on the Main Street opposite the beach and it was quiet and clean. Reception were really helpful too.

We were there for 11 nights and only had the room cleaned once. It probably would have been better to get at least one more clean in that time especially with 2 little kids. New towels are always great when you’re doing so much swimming!

I will definitely be staying here again! The location is fantastic, the staff are extremely welcoming and professional and they are always smiling. The staff here want you to have an experience you will remember forever. I cannot fault these wonderful people and their luxurious hotel in any way at all. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you stay here and experience the same amazing treatment which I received. 😃🙏🏼

The pool was far too warm. My showers aren't even this hot. But, this is north Queensland. It is difficult to keep a large body of water such as their pool cool as the tropical heat is always in control no matter what.

The apartment was nice, clean and spacious over looking the pool area along with the location of the resort, everything you needed was in the kitchen with comfortable furniture and a good size TV. Easy access to restaurants and shops as well

Signage and wayfinding. We couldn't find our way to the pool, there was no signage anywhere. Even though we were on the second floor overlooking it, it was like a rabbit warren trying to find it, we had to ask the maintenance fellow who showed us. It was the same in the carpark, No signage to show how to get to reception. This really needs to be improved.

Our second stay here and will definitely be back. Location is perfect. Pool area and gardens are beautiful with plenty of space. Staff were helpful and friendly, with very good parking. 1 bedroom apartment was a good size, and balcony was very nice to sit out on and quite private.

The decor was quite dated in our apartment and a coat of payment would make a big difference

There was so much to like! There was everything we needed in the apartment. It was really clean and well laid out. We love that it had two air conditioners. One in the bedroom and one in the living room. We especially love that we can control our own temperature (unlike many accommodations that are preset ) The beds were very comfortable and loved having a kitchen and patio. We loved our room location to the pool. Room 315. Just near the spa. We played cards on our patio every afternoon and sipped our wine and then had a convenient dip in the spa. The restaurant "Vivo" just next to the resort is the best and most convenient. (We tried two each day of our stay). This resort is in a lovely central location to the Palm Cove Esplanade.

Perhaps the cleaner made a mistake or do you use body wash in the shampoo dispenser ? They were both the same.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The staff were very friendly, had shared with us their local knowledge and were very attentive to any questions we had during our stay. The room, pool facilities and service from the staff were all exceptional. The gardens and resort are maintained beautifully, spa and pool were very clean, and the pool was very spacious for all guests to use. The property is located perfectly in the centre of Williams Esplanade, with cafes and restaurants at every point. We highly recommend Mantra Amphora for a family friendly stay.

secure parking. great location. clean grounds. huge bed that was very comfy. it was also nice and quiet.

the bathroom is open to the bedroom via louvred shutter windows. ours didn’t close properly which meant someone on the toilet had no privacy and bathroom smells went into the living area. we stayed for a week and found washing our dishes in the bathroom sink awkward. there just wasn’t enough room to stack or dry them. the floor also became dirty and sandy but I couldn’t find a broom or dustpan to clean it with. after a week we felt a little cramped. having said that, i’d still go back. I’d just book a bigger room next time.
