The location of this property is fantastic, right opposite the entry to the Curtis Falls rain forest, walking paths and trails. Perfect hiking start point. There is a cafe, restaurant, lolly shop and icecream Next door to the motel. It is less than 10 minutes drive to Cedar Creek Lodges, adventure park and gallery walk artist shops. The property is very old and a traditional motel, it’s not fancy but it’s also not expensive. It is clean and the staff were welcoming. There is parking right outside your door. The sounds of the birds and wildlife are gorgeous

The shower it’s very hard to get a good even temperature and it’s not a great water flow but it’s ok

A great location with small number of rooms and close to nature. Although the rooms were small they are comfortable with nearly everything you would need for a nice stay, indeed, we stayed an extra day, unplanned. Cereal breakfast and large milk. Close to eateries and Gallery Walk and other attractions. Resident bush turkeys kept a good eye on us as well as the leathernecks.

Bed although comfortable looked like it needed replacing - sagging in the middle. Tissues could be on offer. The soft drinks are a nice touch but for one who doesn't like fizz - juice could be a better option.

The price was competitive. The room clean and a couple of complimentary chocolates were waiting for us in the room.

I was under the impression that we could have walked across the road and get a meal for dinner. Sadly the "Bar & Grill" was not much more that a convienance store, Sadly the staff there said they don't open after hours for dinner. Which meant a trip to find somewhere to eat by car. This is not a fault of the accomodation but I include it for reference. The only thing about the accomodation that dissapointed was the water saving shower head. The water jets were so fine they felt like tiny needles hiting the skin, and it didn't seem to wet me enough.

This is a classic! It reminded me of all the good things about motels. Great functional accommodation, nothing plush, just a comfy bed, air con, a kettle, complimentary tea and coffee, breakfast cerals, a fridge for a pint of milk, hot water, TV and parking. The size of the room was not overly large but not cramped either. Whilst it feels a little dated, it has a charm and you could almost imagine this being a film set for an American road movie. There's also cafe 100 paces from the front door which means decent coffee first thing. I'd stay again!

Was very cheap so was not expecting too much but upon arrival was pleasantly surprised. The easiest, fastest check-in and out ever, a lovely welcome, a chocolate placed on each bed with the towels and individual care products. Complimentary drinks, coffee and breakfast cereal. Very clean, great location. Usually stay in 4 stars plus but all the places I have stayed in in Australia need to stay here a night to learn how to do it properly.

Nothing. It was beyond perfect for the price.

Nice motel close to cafes and main street. Family rooms are a very generous size with plenty of bedding. Great heating for chilly nights. Loved the small kitchen facilities for longer stays. Good value for money. Friendly staff.

Curtains needed updating in rooms as one was very dated and hard to move and the other didn't fit windows properly.

The only thing reason I gave cleanliness a smile ☺ not a grin 😁 was hard for me to do because I totally understand its out of their hands really, but due to location (in the rain forest) there was a constant smell of damp in the room, there was no visible mould or dirt at all in the room it just had an underlying smell. Just a suggestion... Maybe an external phone outside reception area if you are checking in out of hours as when I had to ring I struggled with signal which made contacting owner to check in a tiny bit frustrating... But this is just a suggestion 😉

The staff were very helpful and allowed us the option to check in early. The room was very clean. The gardens are lovely and worth exploring. Great location. Not right in town but still near a variety of shops. Also just literally across the road from the National Park and a lovely walk.

The bed mattress need to be replaced. Very lumpy and uncomfortable. Also worth replacing the glass shower screen rather than supplementing with a plastic curtain.

Great location. Room was small but functional for 4. Lots of toiletries. Nice garden going down to the river. With kangaroos each evening. Walking paths in the forest opposite the Motel. and along to the center. Lots of toiletries. Tables to sit outside.

Could have had chairs in the garden. Could have been cleaner (especially under the beds)

Amazing location!! so close to cafes and restaurants. the grounds were just stunning and the room was lovely. The room had everything I needed, the extra appliances of fridge, toaster and kettle made it easy to be self sufficient. The view from the porch was perfect for a cheeky wine before heading out for dinner and incredibly well kept gardens were a pleasure to see.

Aircon wasn’t heating at first, due to caked up filters so was easy to fix myself.
