Location: not far from the city and close to a highway. Staff: pleasant and friendly. Size of the room: The room is quite large in comparison to similar accommodations. Parking is available under the roof and anywhere else that is convenient and available.

This was my second stay at this motel. The first time, I booked with my friend's name and we were given a better room. However, this time, when I booked with my own name (asian), I was assigned a slightly dated room and the Aircon was quite loud. Overall, my experience was not bad at all. I had stayed in a better room before, so I was able to make a comparison. Despite that, I still enjoyed my stay as this room had everything I needed. The only suggestion I have is that the room could use a fresh coat of paint, as the current one is peeling. Additionally, the water pressure was a bit low, which was a minor inconvenience. or maybe I got discounted from being a Genius Level 3 membership and they gave me an older room because I paid less, which makes sense to me.

The staff were great and the location was convenient for us.

My stay was good. The only thing I will fault the Motel for was the interruption to the water supply. They were carrying out repairs to the water piping and as a result the water pressure was not good. I am sure they will fix the problem and that is the only reason I did not give them a 10. I would definitely stay there again as long as the water issue was fixed

The staff are lovely. The room was great and I felt alone although I was by myself. The bed is extremely comfortable. They give a lot of milk coffee and tea which i really like as I like coffee etc. It is a quiet place to stay and has great options for air con fan or fresh air. I like fresh air and the lovers at the back allow for fresh air flow. It is central and close to my appointments

I find parking tight but that is just me and my dislike of parking at the best of times.

It's all you need for a quick stay over on your trip. Staff are amazing and so welcoming. Has wifi. Beds. Hot showers with hair n body wash n hygiene kits, Kettle, toaster microwave, tea coffee sugar, extra linen and lovely warm minx blankets. Air conditioning is great. A lovely little swimming pool if you have time to cool off. Felt very safe... solo mum with 2 girls 12 & 11. Secure. Parking in front of our door. No scary people lol

For the price of one night... there isn't anything NEGATIVE to say. Overall very happy with our stay over.

Stayed for Valentines weekend. CBD and range of restaurants only a few minutes away. Rooms are nicely insulated from noise, beds were very comfortable, and sheets & linen smelled amazing compared to other hotels (a very nice ambience to start Valentines weekend). Was raining during my stay, so I didn't try the pool, but it looked very nice with pool slides for kids. Checking out, I left my ear buds in the room UNDER the bed, and thankfully, staff found them during general room cleaning and made them available for me to pick them up. I've stayed in other hotels before where there's dust and small food debris under the bed. So it's shows Billabong Lodge are very conscientious with keeping their rooms & facilities clean.

Not to give a rave review just because staff were very nice & and accommodating, but to highlight how much I really did enjoy my stay there, it would be fair to list one or two things for full disparity The top chiller compartment in the room bar fridge is small and keeps drinks very cold, but things like ice cream will eventually melt, so plan accordingly. There's no power outlet next to the bed, so if you need to use a laptop for work or charge your phone, make sure to bring a small extension cord. But for price, location and overall cleanliness & polite staff, will recommend 100%

comfy bed, good room facilities, excellent internet connection, friendly staff, good parking, price not too expensive, hot shower, a feeling of security, all rooms ground level access, solid brick walls meant no neighboring rooms noises at all, parking spaces all with metal roofs keeping cars cool.

No breakfast or meal services available, courtyard noises penetrated room, some faults with lavatory seat and tap on the bathroom sink, room paint a bit 'tired', shower recess without any grab rails or shower curtain

Staff were fantastic. They are only new managers working hard to implement changes. Large enough room with free on-site parking

Car parks need to be numbered so those who have multiple cars don't take them all. Could use an over all freshen up, especially the linens/blankets (a full size blanket for the beds would have been handy)

The beds were very good. The pool was amazing. Staff were available and oversaw operations. The staff were very firendly and accomodating to needs.

A few items missing in the room but were available upon request. Power points and handles etc could have been cleaner.

Jess was absolutely wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for her. She is a credit to the company and absolute pleasure to deal with. Our units were really comfortable and extremely clean, but there were some issues with a disability side of it. 

Being a wheelchair bound person I need to always book an accessible room. unfortunately my room was a little difficult to navigate. There are no power points behind the bed around the side for my equipment. And the bathroom is so small I had to do a five point turn to get out of it. all the power points were up high which made it very difficult to turn on and off. a few other issues but not a true wheelchair accessible room.

Was comfy and a great stay .. smoking rules are a little extreme , have to go to a smoking area at the front of motel ... Doesn't feel super safe at night with the smoking area right beside the walking path with some sketchy people walking past late at night .. got harassed for smokes a couple of times
