Nice "Boutique" hotel in downtown Adelaide near the central market and Chinatown. Lobby is a bit frenetic since it also accommodates a bar and restaurant in basically the same space as the front desk. Room was a "mini suite", with two open adjoining rooms and a spacious balcony overlooking the city. Bathroom was small but contained all the conveniences we required. Water pressure in shower was great. Front desk staff was mixed . One crew was friendly and helpful, (could also understand them), other crew was not so friendly and accent of one staff member was so strong, I could not understand them We tried calling front desk several times to obtain a reservation for the rooftop bar, and no one answered the phone. When I questioned them about it, I was curtly told they were too busy with other calls, etc. Understaffed if you ask me.
No parking on premises. When I arrived in late afternoon after a long drive, there were cones in the dropoff area in front of hotel, I moved them since it is a busy, crowded, narrow street. I was told a bus was coming in, hence the cones. I was then told discounted parking was available, a five minute walk away. Rate only allowed for one time in and out per day. Valet parking was also available for $50 AUD per day, also one in and out per day. This was not good. Also, room did not have much storage , actually drawers for clothing. "Racks" were provided, but not convenient. Value for money was not exceptional considering high price and lack of parking.

The view was good for the NYE fireworks, but not the prettiest side of Adelaide. Clean, tidy, classy room with everything we needed. Close to good restaurants. Quiet besides the noise that we were making. Comfortable beds (and I'm very picky where that's concerned). The roofto7iy5u bar was nice.
Was a bit disappointed to find out about the rooftop bar NYE party through Google search weeks after we'd booked. It might have been nice to get an email explaining what was happening so that we could have tailored our evening accordingly. If I had to nit pick Market Street is not the most desirable location to walk out onto. Also the fridge could have been colder.

All staff from reception to waitstaff to room service to cleaners at Hotel Indigo were friendly, accomodating and helpful. The Hotel is unique, love the upstairs area and the views, the food was delicious (must include the breakfast when you stay) and the infinity pool and gym area are fabulous. Towels, water, everything you need. Close to The Adelaide Markets and Chinatown and a short walk into Rundle Mall. The room was great, big TV with Chromecast - perfect when travelling with children. The beds were slightly too hard for me, but that's only a softer mattress preference of mine and the pillows were so, so comfortable. And there was a huge showerhead in the roomy bathroom. And they supplied slippers. A wonderful stay, will definitely stay again.
Honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like.

The hotel is in a good location. There is plenty to see nearby. The markets are very close, and it's walking distance from everything. The staff were great and I enjoyed a whisky at the bar at the end of my day. The room was very comfortable with great connectivity and a good view of the town and surrounding mountains. I was very happy to stay here and will return.
The plugs in my room did not work on the first night meaning I could not charge my equipment. This was resolved the very next day. I would like the bar to stay open after 9:30. I would have liked more than 2 coffee sachets as I had some early morning meetings and needed more - perfect otherwise.

The hotel was boutique, so it felt friendly and not corporate. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. We had great cocktails on the rooftop bar, then ate out in Chinatown, which is immediately within walking distance of the hotel. The following day, after a refreshing swim in the outdoor infinity pool on the fourth floor, we enjoyed an excellent breakfast on the ground floor. There was a good choice, and we thought it was good value.
Nothing. Everything was just perfect for a comfortable, relaxing stay in a nice convenient location to access Adelaide's City centre.

The hotel is in a great location, not too noisy or busy. The room was spacious and comfortable and the design and colour scheme is very cool. Loved the robe, slippers and bathroom amenities. Parking not onsite but easy to navigate to and discounted for hotel guests. There was ample short-term free parking out the front to drop off bags and check-in/out. Great place to stay in Adelaide!
Continental breakfast wasn't worth including, only for convenience. There is the option to upgrade to hot menu though. Unfortunately, the beautiful pool was far too cold when I stayed. One of the reasons I booked there, website states it's heated but not sure of the temperature. Great view from the pool deck though! Bathroom lighting was a bit dark for getting ready etc. but there was a light up make-up mirror.

Perfect location. Breakfast choices were very good. We had a room with a balcony and was very comfortable for our 3 night stay. Cheap Uber ride to the beach and close to the airport. Lots of food choices in walking distance, markets and Chinatown. 10 minute walk to Rundle Mall.
It was really windy and there was a high pitched whistling noise through the doors all night. The rooftop bar was really busy, make sure you have a booking as it is open to the public for functions. It was a great cocktail although we were jammed in a corner.

All of the staff were so friendly, the continental breakfast very generous and the presentation of the rooms as well as the clear love and celebration of Adelaide culture and South Australian cuisine was very fun and inspiring. Overall, we would definitely come back to stay.
There was no parking at the hotel and the parking tickets can become quite expensive even with the hotel discount. ($25 per entry/exit & daily) plus the security deposit. Overall with only one daily entry/exit or keeping your car there each day a total of + $75 needs to be accountable for the overall daily soend associated with staying at the hotel. If you're looking for something more on a budget, I'd recommend looking for accommodation less central.

We stayed with our two children, while visiting family in Adelaide. We booked a double room and requested a portacot for our baby. The room was very clean and well laid out. We were a bit concerned that it would be noisy, since it was right next to the elevator, as we usually request rooms away from the elevator, but we shouldn't have worried, as we didn't hear a thing. The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant staff went above and beyond catering to our small children. Not only were they friendly and spent time chatting with our children, they went to every effort to make sure that we were comfortable and our girls would be looked after. We had included a continental breakfast with the choice of a dish off the a la carte menu for the adults. They allowed our girls to eat free of charge from the continental breakfast bar and then even said that if we wanted to order extra eggs or sides for our own meal for the girls, we could. The food was wonderful. Our girls enjoyed the little pots of yoghurts and mini muffins and we loved the Fried Mushrooms on toast. In addition, espresso coffee and tea was included and the staff even offered our three year old a babycino. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and am suggesting it to all my family and friends for their travels to Adelaide (which are pretty frequent now due to family connections). To add to this, we booked our stay through Booking.com and initially my parents were staying at the same time as us (with a few days before and after), however, 6 weeks ago, my mother broke her leg and had to cancel her booking. The hotel allowed us to cancel free of charge, when they usually would charge one night's accommodation. My parents and I were so impressed by this that they rescheduled their trip for early January and have booked the hotel for then.
One of the towels was dirty.

Interior design , incredibly comfy bed when we were finally out in room 1009 (1008 had 2 beds pushed together, very disappointing for price paid)
Clearly housekeeping had not picked up on the fact that the previous guest in 1008 had been smoking , as we could smell it, and they had also stuck a small towel in the fire sprinkler in the bathroom to stop it detecting the smoke and activating. How housekeeping could have not smelt the smoke and noticed the towel we don’t know. We told reception immediately and we’re switched to room 1009
