The room was clean and the bathroom looked to be recently updated and had a great shower. The bed was so comfortable that I slept better than in my own bed! Great walk just over the road with a sculpture trail. There is also a wetland walk a short drive down the road. Food in the hotel was really nice and well priced.

WiFi was not great and the TV couldn't connect properly to streaming services. It was a bit noisy as people left the pub as I had the end, downstairs room with cars parked outside. Last time I stayed here I had an upstairs room and there were no noise issues.

The room was comfortable with a queen bed, 2 single beds (in seperate room) and a fold out couch. All the beds were super comfortable and warm. There were some think extra blankets available in the rooms in case of cold nights. There was also an iron and ironing board and hangers in the closets (one closet in main room and another with the 2 singles). In the kitchen there was a sink, a microwave and a bar fridge with freezer. Also in the kitchen was cutlery, crockery and glassware. Under the sink were dishwashing supplies. The bathroom was a good size with a seperate toilet. There were plenty of towels for use and a hairdryer also. The room had a few windows that we could open to the outside. It also had a reverse cycle air conditioner that kept the room warm in the evenings. The main bed space and the seperate bedroom were carpeted with the kitchen, bathroom and toilet being tiled. There was a coffee table in front of the couch and a study desk and 2 plastic dinning chairs. The room also has a flat screen TV.

Parking was a little tricky, but doable. Wasn’t sure where to return the key after our stay.

Central location for what we needed. We were a fairly late check in, the option of meals available at the property was great and delivered to our room made a long day of travelling that little bit more relaxing.

The particular room we room we stayed in is in need of small repairs and maintenance in the bathroom/toilet. Toilet a little unsteady. Drain in bathroom closest to vanity is very dirty and filled with quite a bit of hair and debris. Inscribed names and graffiti on the rear of toilet door. This didn’t affect our stay, however it just may need mentioning to the maintenance-cleaning team.

The cleaning staff came everyday and did a general clean but also replenished the water in the fridge and the shower gels in the bathroom. I arrived in the morning and the staff in reception were kind enough to take my number and message me when the room was ready so I could check in early. The smart TV was a nice way for me to just chill out and turn in for the night.

Nothing major but the room didn't have any cutlery, then again I never asked for any and I'm sure the staff would've happily sorted cutlery out for me had I asked for some. Other than that, it was perfect for what I needed.

Nightcap at Riverside was a very very pleasant stay experience. The room 9/10 Hotel experience 10/10 Restaurant & Bar experience - 11/10 Hotel &Restaurant Staff 11/10 (special mention to Max(Machindra) The location is pretty easy to find out & decently placed if you are driving your own car , on the main way. Ample parking places. The room was regular with a microwave, heating kettle, regular bathroom with all toiletries. They do have a room-cleuaning everyday. Other amenities - Nice gaming parlor. A very nice kids play area. Superb Bar open till 10:30 Ample sitting space for restaurant purpose(restaurant last food order by 7:45 PM) The chef is just +++ all food selections are tasty (yummy). The staff is very coordial, full of warmth. & very friendly. Location is quite ideal close to city centre , just away from all of the rush. Please note theres a Joe’s grocery closeby. Would love to visit them again

It exceeded my expectations! For the first night getting off the plane I was thoroughly surprised. it was easy to park right outside. For the price its value for money. Neat and tidy pretty much everything we needed.

Definitely not the best location as it's next to a gaming bar lounge making me worried about security issues but we didn't come across any issues. The room could have been a little more spacious. Just a tad tight for 3 people.

Outside looks rather tired and not great, but the room itself was much better. Bed was comfy, shower great with rainfall head, and enough facilities to make it comfortable for a short stay

Prices for the meals were a little expensive for a pub I thought and while the meal wasn't bad, I don't think it was worth what was being charged. Even the specials weren't really special. I have had far better food for a smaller price at a good restaurant

Recently upgraded interior. Modern bathroom a little cozy. Comfortable beds. Room. Modern club with bistro- lots of food options. Some good walks nearby. About 15 mins from Launceston. Good value for money. family friendly. Plenty of parking. spotlessly clean.

Looked pretty basic from the outside. Didn't tell us about breakfast on the first night. You have to order this as room service.

The price of the rooms, they use to be competitive but now they’re way more expensive, have booked a room at the olde Tudor in a few weekends time because the accommodation is more affordable and it’s an added bonus that they have a pool, saving $65 per night, we’ve stayed multiple times for football over the past few years and always eat and drink at your restaurant (always enjoy the food and drinks) and then continue to drink after tea but it’s starting to get to pricey

Bigger room than expected, with a separate bedroom, kitchenette and toilet.

There were bugs around, although the season we went was not warm enough for bugs. There was also a hole in the wall. Would've been good if the staff gave us directions to our room, because it was a couple blocks away from the main building, and we weren't sure if it was upstairs or downstairs, and spent a long time finding our room. There is no shelter to the other blocks from the reception area, so good luck if it rains.
