Great location, good food and friendly staff members.

The cleaning rule is confusing - we found a notice in our room, which says free room cleaning service is available upon request by certain time. So I have assumed no one would come to my room for cleaning if I don't request the service, so I could get extra sleep in the morning after a late check in. But the cleaner did come in the room when I said I don't need cleaning service. So the sleep was disturbed. I'd suggest the hotel provides a "Don't disturb" sign or follow the process stated in the information provided to the guests, who don't want to get woken up in the morning.

From the moment I stepped through the doors, everything was perfect. The assistance from reception was fantastic, the lady was thorough and very kind in doing so. There was quite a queue of people. What's not to like.... it's the perfect location, my next mattress will be the same as the one I slept on here. I will have to go back to stay because I forgot to get the name. The clincher was the towels. Every place I stay it seems there is no attention to the towels. Stay here for the towels alone 😆 we ordered food from the train restaurant. So very good. You should not be disappointed if you stay here.

Room is clean, comfortable and spacious, although it’s dated. There’s tea making facilities. The hotel is very near to a number of restaurants and shopping district. 2 chinese and a Thai restaurants are within 2 minutes walk from the hotel. All serving great authentic food especially the Thai restaurant. Car park is behind the hotel and is very easy for loading and unloading luggage.

Kitchen equipment such as food warmer, coffee machine and bread toaster seems lack regular maintenance. Staffs seemed short handed in the restaurant and reception. Nevertheless diners are all very patience which is something delightful to observe. Taking shower in the bathtub.

Location, Location in the central part and was close to walk everywhere. Parking was $6 per night the restaurant had good food and same for breakfast and was comparable to restaurants in the area there was a lot to choose from. The room was not dated in feel and was able to open a window for fresh air and look over the city on level 4. The bath has a stand in shower and felt narrow with a curtain pulled across and the shower head had lots of water flow to land on the floor. The Tv had Netflix as well, if you need a fix for your shows. There was a big King bed however felt firm is the only marked down for the stay. I would return again to this abode.

A Comfier King Bed A program for environmental house keeping. By not needing room service, i would receive a free drink at the bar for each day i did not need my room cleaned / serviced.

We had dinner in the Tram Car Restaurant, but not breakfast. Dinner was fair. The bed was very comfortable as was the room. The receptionists were very efficient and friendly, and my request for 2 rooms where the en suite provided a walk-in shower for a November 2024 booking was confirmed promptly.

There was a safety issue in the en suite with the shower being over the bath and the toilet in very close proximity, so getting in and out of the bath took careful management for this 80yo. Knowing that a safe alternative is available for future stays is a reason for booking.

that you couldn’t just have breakfast on one morning they only allow the pre book cheaper price for how every many nights you stay. we chose to eat elsewhere because of this for all our meals. bathroom lacks towel holders, the ones that were meant to be on the back of the door were sitting on bathroom bench.

Location was excellent from getting off the bus...10 minute easy walk to the hotel. Hotel was clean and good space size for the room!

The breakfast space in the morning was overcrowded, too little staff and it was a chaotic start to the morning. They had lost my order so my breakfast took much longer than it should have.... And it does have a shuttle but it should say, book it the day before to the airport and it cost is $20. Up front information is always better than finding out this information when I arrive too late to book the shuttle for the time I really wanted the next day!

Great hotel, easy location for getting about Launceston. Almost adjacent to City Park, which is a beautiful leafy green space, great for families or to enjoy your coffee and pastry from Bread + Butter (try the morning bun..oh my goodness 🤤) and very close to the dining/bar precinct. The room was impeccably clean, the beds were ridiculously comfortable and the added convenience of a full size bath was amazing to soak in each night. Overall cost was very agreeable also.

Other guests were a little unruly on the Friday and Saturday nights which were disruptive. We didn't have a coffee machine in our room as advertised, but as luck turns out Sweetbrew was just around the corner. The room service menu was a little lacklustre for choice, however it was prompt and piping hot on arrival, the cake for dessert was stale however. - Despite this I would still thoroughly recommend Best Western and I will stay here again next time we're down.

Central location , easy access and walking distance to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Parking was convenient and close. Breakfast had a good variety of options and met the needs of our family. Catered for special requests. The other thing especially appreciated by our child was the fact we could link into our streaming service from our room.

The only thing i could fault was the absence of bedside lamps . It made the room appear darker than normal and was something I expected to have in my hotel room. There was a lamp in the sitting area but none near the bed.

Location is amazing and the rooms are great, we had to shuffle the bedside tables around so there was one each side of the queen size bed, no point having one beside the single if theres only 2 of us in the one bed.

Parking is an issue, we were advised to literally park anywhere, even in staff spots but even then it was very very tight. Perhaps the guests should automatically have all spots before the staff? One day we had to park on the street and feed metres then go out every hr to see if a spot had opened up.
