Overall, a nice hotel, very well located, close to green areas, in fact right next to the stop of line 70, which takes you straight to the center. The room was small but nice, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom. The service was nice and professional, we had a very early flight on the last day, so they prepared breakfast boxes for us, which were quite good.

I would rate the hotel more positively, but unfortunately we did not like the breakfasts. The selection was small, the bread was not very good, and the scrambled eggs were probably made from a ready-made mixture. There was always something missing: glasses for juice, clean spoons, and when there were spoons, there were no cereal bowls. The coffee machine made terrible coffee, so we had to order a paid coffee option (!) (I encountered this for the first time in a **** hotel). One day the tea water heater broke down. I asked for tea from the bar, we got 4 cups, but only two teapots... so that we wouldn't accidentally drink too much tea. I had to ask for everything all the time.

A quality room that was very well fitted out with all the basics, but with some special features such as more than adequate supplies of Vittorio coffee pods and instant coffee tubes, milk, and a selection of quality teas. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in, and we do lot of travelling. ( 12 weeks in Europe this year alone ) If was both soft and very supportive. That is very hard to achieve. The room was so spotless that you felt that you were the first person to have stayed there. Breakfast had a good selection of quality breakfast foods. The yoghurt was great as were the scrambled eggs which I had with roasted pumpkin and potatoes. Will definitely stay here the next time we come to Melbourne.

Parking too expensive, but there was more than adequate parking 100m away on the Yarra boulevard which we used.

Everything was super. Very professional and ever smiling staff. We were checked in as soon as we arrived long before advised checking time. The superb buffet style breakfast, the cleanliness, free Wi-Fi. A tram line running by the hotel. Easy access to Melbourne CBD. Situated in a leafy area with amazing views. I could go on and on.

Liked everything about the hotel, however, it is an area where we could not find convenient shops around. We had to walk a distance to get groceries. Not many outside hotel eating options, unless if you walk, get on the tram or hire a bicycle. The hotel has a bicycle hire facility.

Breakfast was expansive. Beds were extra comfortable. Room size was great too. Location was great despite not being in the CBD. I highly recommend commuting using the Rideshare bikes and scooters along the river for a very scenic view.

The hotel got rid of the Nintendo room since we were last there - that was our favourite. The breakfast options also weren’t as good as previous - missing the hash browns which were my favourite part. The hotel also had issues with fulfilling requests. Asked for an extra bed in a separate booking, staff were aware of it, but upon entering the room the bed wasn’t there.

Great location - just out of the city, with a tram stop nearby by and short walk to the Yarra River. Clearly new and well finished. We didn't see any cleaning staff - but the room was spotless (5 stars to housekeeping). The room had everything we needed, plus secure car park and venue features such as pool table, meeting room and restaurant.

We arrived a 3pm for checking (probably a peak time) and only one staff member was on to check staff in. There was a queue of people wanting to do the same and we saw at least 3 staff walk past who didn't acknowledge us or offer to help.

The breakfast had great options, I feel if you're offering buffet, the cafè style coffee should be included. But overall, great service and great venue.

On Booking.com i was told I could choose any room despite having a pet so the point was to have it on the top most floor. I got moved to the ground floor once getting there and no compensation for that change. It seemed unfair given that it says something online but something else in person

This was our 2nd stay. Immaculate room- bed is so comfortable, big TV opposite bed, shower excellent.

Carparking has increased to $42!! Then the staff member tried to justify it by saying in the city it can be over $60 (incorrect - we have never paid that in the city) and it is because they have better priced rooms because they are further out than the CBD (also incorrect- we have stayed in the city many times for similar or less price). Our stays here are based on location needs, not pricing.

We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. Modern but homely, clean, comfortable. Room was extremely clean, bed comfortable and bathroom great. Even the robe was so soft and cozy. Amazing black out blinds, which gave us a long peaceful sleep. In a convenient location that will be my new go to if I need to stay near the city. Most city car parks cost $50-$70 a night and don’t fit 4WDs. Here we paid $35 and fit in easily.

No mini bar in the room, but instead at the reception. That’s ok if you know what you want when you walk past, but late at night you have to get dressed and get up and go down to get it which sucks. On checkout I wanted to pay cash for the parking but the man was not having a bar of it because he thought he wouldn’t have the change ($5), even though he actually didn’t look for it. I tried card but their machine kept declining it (their error, not mine - worked the night before), so they were forced to take cash and magically they had enough change. Wanted to get breakfast and walked in the restaurant to be told it shut at 10:30am. Considering check out was 11am, we though that was pretty poor - so we took our business elsewhere 😊

Tram stop right out the front Restaurant to die for!!! Food full of flavour. Could not fault anything we ate. Bed very comfy. Snacks available for sale in lobby Peaceful area (on weekend)

(Just) a little far way out of the city if going back and forth during day and returning again to get changed/freshened up prior to going out for dinner and/or later night activities (located at tip end of Richmond just before Hawthorn area). No shops nearby to browse or grab a coffee from on weekend, although there is a Tram stop just out the front which drives straight into bustling Richmond. Paid for parking but could probably easily park out the front on a weekend as is located in more a business type area so not busy.
