November 2023

Seaview cabin was spacious and clean. Loved seeing and hearing the waves and enjoyed being right at the beach. I will say bring jackets and a blanket etc to rug up though, as sitting on the balcony was lovely with the view but the wind was a bit chilly (we stayed end of November and the weather wasn't cold, just the wind when sitting still relaxing etc.).

Previous visitors had obviously been feeding the magpies which was a bit annoying when they wouldn't leave us alone to eat breakfast etc. I'm a bird lover and normally enjoy seeing our native birds, but it was causing fights between the magpies and wattle birds as well as being annoying (and not good for the birds health).

Amazing location! Seaside Cabin #32 truly is seaside! Beautiful views of the surf beach from the seating on the front deck, where I spent most of my time reading, snacking, and listening to steady roll of ocean waves. About 10m away was a raised lookout, which was excellent viewing of the windsurfers in the late afternoon/early evening, and about 20m away was the beach access gate - very convenient on hot days! Easy stroll up to Rocky Point lookout to watch the sunrise in the mornings, and definitely not too far to walk into the main part of town for shops and restaurants. Also situated very close to the Torquay Hotel, and a number of delicious eateries. The park itself was very tidy, and the cabin was spotless. Overall very, very comfortable stay - would return in a heartbeat!

I'd be scraping the bottom of the barrel to find a fault with this place! The only minor inconvenience was struggling to rinse shampoo out with the water-saving shower head in the cabin (which is an item I'd be surprised NOT to find in accommodation of this kind!) Thick-haired guests, anticipate long showers on swim days! Hahaha.

Perfect location right next to the beach, we had one of the surfside cabins so it was a 20 second walk away from the surf beach, good value for money, also close to the pub and some other nice cafes and restaurants. Most other shops in Torquay are within walking distance or a short drive from the caravan park. Cabins are small but clean and have pretty much everything you need. Couch was comfy. Overall a great option for family holidays, but also for groups of friends

Would have been nice to have some more kitchen utensils such as chopping boards or baking trays. Cabin fridge is also a bit small. Also TV a bit small and it wasn't really working when we went but we didn't mind because we managed to find plenty of other things to do for entertainment

The closeness to the beach, we could hear the ocean as we went to sleep and as soon as we woke up. The Third Wave Kiosk was right next to our pod and it was such a treat to have a coffee in bed while listening to the beach. We would absolutely recommend to friends to stay in these pods.

For use of the kitchen-like facilities it would've been handy to have a vessel of drinking water available. The wifi was patchy which ordinarily wouldn't be a bother but I was working on a deadline which was frustrating at times.

Great caravan park. Lots of accommodation options. Would love to stay in one of the glamping tents. We ( family x4 with teenagers) stayed in one of the older style cabins as we booked very last minute. Cabin was definitely well used but extremely clean and had everything we needed. Very impressed! Terrific location, kids able to head to the beach, less than 5 minute walk. Great options for lunch and dinner outside the park. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A bit pricey for older style cabin

Great bed. Excellent location - close to beach and shops and restaurants . Glamping set up was well thought out. Fan was great and small fridge just enough for what you need for a few days.

The gate to the beach should have been closed/locked. There was a key code for that purpose but the entire time I was there the gate was open. As one of the closest tents to the gate from a security point of view it made me a little uneasy it was open the whole time.

Location was great, walking distance from shops, beach etc :D we were in a camper trailer and had a great position quiet, close to toilets, showers and other campers around with kids were well behaved and not too noisy :D thoroughly enjoyed our stay :D

The only complaint I have is the confined space in the showers trying to open the glass screen and moving around it to get in the shower. :I

I loved the location of the park, so close to shops, staff were so nice and worked very hard as the park was very full, location of the cabin was good also.

The cabin had rocks and sticks co Erin the ground d outside, we had to wear shoes whenever we went outside, where as the more expensive cabins beside us had a beautiful grassy area just outside. Need to invest in more grounds maintenance and ground cover so it's not uncomfortable to walk around outside without shoes on.

I stayed in one of the pods and it was very cozy and comfortable. There's adequate heating. The location on the beach is great. If you're into surfing I don't think the location could get any better. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves!

Not sure if the water was potable and I couldn't figure out how to find out. No wifi. Map was confusing and it took me a while to find my site.

location- it was right across from the river and beach.

check in. we arrived at 3:15 on a very wet day yo be told to wait 15 mins in the street. we waited for a text to say we could check in but it didn’t happen. with two kids in the car and rain and nowhere to go after travel all day it was not fun. I went in at 4:10 to be told it had just been finished and I could go in. I would have appreciated a later check out by an hour the next day to make up. it was dark at 6:00 pm after unloading the car. no allowance was offered.
