Very convenient location in the city center for a few days, friendly staff and cool design. They helped in understanding how to deal with the pedestrian zone and provided a discount rate for a local public parking
Access to the hotel (rooms and reception) goes via a single elevator which is often busy, so every movement requires a bit of waiting time. The bathroom is one thing with the bedroom, sink and shower at right aside the bed, while the WC is at least in a no window small “room”. Didn’t like this setup. Also beware of the limitations to access the hotel area, it’s in pedestrian zone as very clearly explained and mentioned.

Good location in the heart of Innsbruck. The staff were fantastic and attentive. The breakfast was wonderful with a combination of a buffet and cook-to-order items. Very uniquely decorated hotel.
If you arrive by car you must lug your luggage 400m from a parking lot. However at time of departure you are allowed to drive in the pedestrian zone right to the hotel front door. The hotel was completely renovated during Covid but in a short period of time some of the rooms, ours included, have become raggedy with scraped walls and damaged fixtures. Another couple traveling with us had an impeccable room so maybe some rooms are fine. There also was a faint odor in our room. The staff, however, offered to move us. Be aware that there is no air conditioning at night. Our room was too warm and when the windows were open it was too noisy. The second night we were provided with a fan.

The breakfast is incredible, very fresh and healthy. Location is in the center of the old town, everything that is a must see in Innsbruck you can walk from here. I think also the bar of the hotel is one of the most popular ones, it looks most fancy, and the food is also of the night restaurant great. Almost all restaurants in the center serve the same typical austrian food. The place is more luxurious and higher quality than most places you find in Innsbruck.
The pillows of the bed are a bit hard, and the cleaning ladies didn't refill our teas, nor put clean teacups. Also for TV, there is no streaming possible, it's only german tv, so for many other international guests useless.

The location of the hotel is brilliant right at the heart of Old Innsbruck. Shops, sights and restaurants on your doorstep. The hotel is characterful because of the ancient building it is in enhanced by a great and tasteful modern renovation. The breakfasts were delicious with a great selection of hot and cold food.
Not sure the air conditioning was turned on. The weather had been cold for for several months prior to my visit and I was there in the first warm spell of the year. The room was quite warm for sleeping but the windows could be opened.

the hotel is in the heart of the Old Town, easy to locate, close to shops and sights. One must take the elevator to the 6th floor, to the bar/breakfast location where there is also the reception. The staff was very pleasant and helpfull- The room was tiny but very cozy with a balcony and a nice view. It was also very quiet. The breakfast was amazing a lot of varieties from local produce. i liked the fact that not a sound could be heard from the bar in the 6th floor. The house itself is amazing, very nice and well preserved, full of history and interesting artifacts
the price was a bit steep but one can understand that given the Christmas season is just starting and a source told me there was 0 room availibility in the city of Salzburg that weekend. the hotel is a 4* yet i missed a coffee machine or an electric kettle in my room (i am not mentioning a mini fridge, because it was cold and i used the balcony). And the bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was soft and used. All this was fine for two night (=not extremely tragic) and the location and the views compensated more that enough.

The location - at the heart of the old town and only 15 min walk from the train station was perfect. I joined 2 of the free guided hikes run by tourist information and they started at the Golden Roof only 50m from the hotel. Despite the central location my room was incredibly quiet. I loved the separate ‘conservatory’ on my room where I could sit and read. The modern design in this ancient building is superb. Very welcoming staff and useful lockers so I knew my bag was secure after I checked out.
The top floor bar where breakfast is served is beautiful but so busy I couldn’t use it. Not great as I was on my own and would have liked a drink after getting back from a long evening exploring the museums which were open late. The breskfast is quite expensive 27 euros. It was good but as I was hiking on two days I did not want a lengthy breakfast so far as I could see there was no lighter alternative.

Location great for the old town which can be very busy. We had a garden view room which was quieter than being on the main street. Breakfast very good
The first night we were on fifth floor directly under the restaurant kitchen. (What are they thinking?) It was noisy until 2:30AM then started up again around 5AM for breakfast. Couldn’t sleep. We were graciously moved to a quieter but much smaller room even for older European hotels. My point is the hotel must know that room is absolutely unacceptable. We made reservations six months ahead of our stay. I wonder if the hotel reserves BAD ROOMS for Booking Com? I will contact customer service. The Staff were very nice but why did they put us in that room?

The very tasteful funky interior design, which complemented the nearly 600 year old building in a surprising way. Reception is in the attic loft, which has been converted so as to afford views over Innsbruck, and it doubles as a breakfast room as well as an evening cocktail bar. We felt very welcomed throughout our stay, and were greeted with a drink of our choice. We loved the breakfast, which was of high quality and differed from the usual hotel breakfast. Despite it having a buffet element, you were attended to carefully, being offered cooked elements, coffee, tea and smoothies. The cocktail bar during the evening was a revelation; watching the craft cocktail makers at their work was an absolute entertainment, and their product was simply delicious. Of all the hotels stayed at during a journey through the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Italy, this one was by far the best. It must also be said that its position in the pedestrian area, next door to all the sights and shops of Innsbruck could not have been better.
There was nothing that we did not like!

The hotel reception | bar | breakfast was on the top floor (6). You enter on floor 0. Overall very quiet. It was tiny, but we did rent the twin bed room, since I was traveling with my son. Right in the center of it all if that is what you are looking for. The staff was excellent in helping us find taxi, train schedules etc. Since it was our first stop it was very helpful.
I had trouble with the temperature being very warm. However, I think I was supposed to put my room card in the holder next to the door and temperature control to start. I didn't realize until our next hotel - we had to do the same thing but to turn the lights on.

In this extraordinary hotel in the centre of Innsbruck, Mozart and his father once stayed. The location is outstanding. Yet the room was quiet. When we arrived, we wondered if we were in the right place because there was a cocktail bar in full flow with a marvellous atmosphere and beautiful decor. The breakfast area is transformed into an iconic cocktail bar in the evenings, celebratory and lively. We had complimentary cocktails after dinner, and the same area had a sumptuous and extraordinary breakfast in the morning. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Our room was beautifully designed, with a balcony that allowed us to hear the Sunday morning bells from Innsbruck. The whole experience was joyful and happy.
Nothing.
