Location is quite central, less than 10mins walk to Mirabell Gardens, abt 20mins walk to Old Town (leisurely pace). Hotel is clean, modern & comfortable. as expected of the NH group. I’m a seasoned business traveller and have stayed in NH hotels in other parts of the world. What impressed me most & compelled me to write this review (I don’t usually write reviews) is the service of their staff, esp Emilie and a gentleman from South Africa (I think, didn’t get his name. works the night shift during 18-21 Feb’23.). Emilie went over and beyond what’s expected of her job scope and provided such excellent service with genuine warmth, she really made our first visit to Salzburg City an unforgettable one… thank you very much!

the only grouse was no extra pillows, other than that nothing else to dislike.

The location was quiet and about a fifteen minute pleasant walk to the centre of town. It was about seven minutes walk to the nearest trolleybus stop to the main station and airport. The staff were friendly. The room was an acceptable 20 sq metre in size though possibly a little on the small size given we were paying 250 euros a night. The breakfast was expensive.

There were no instructions for the safe and was not possible to operate it until the next morning when the maintenance man was able to provide them. The front of house staff did not know how to operate it and indeed they thought it was broken. One day our bed room was not cleaned. It was difficult to prevent the water from the shower spilling onto the floor..

All aspects of our stay at the NH Hotel in Salzburg were excellent. From the moment we arrived with the warm welcome at the Reception, to the time we left, we were well attended to. In particular, we received very good and informative information on how to navigate the city, good restaurants and coffee shops to frequent, and general tourist advice. No request was either too big or too small, and the staff were exceptionally attentive. A very positive experience all round.

The location is great! A short walk to old town and to the Mirabelplatz gardens! Also bus stop across the street and maybe 1 block up took you directly to the train station! Very good food options nearby. The hotel beds were comfy and the rooms clean.

I didn’t know how to use the phones in the rooms to call the front desk but then found a small piece of paper they give you at check in with the instructions. It was confusing in the moment but not a big deal. Would be helpful to have phone instructions or the front desk number on the phone

Loved everything about this hotel! Upon checking in to checking out, everything went perfect. The front desk receptionists were all great and very professional. They made the checking in experience seamless. The room is aesthetically pleasing and good size for a european hotel. The bathroom was very clean and had amenities included. We couldn't have breakfast as we didn't have time, but I would assume that their breakfast is great! The location as well is just about a 10 minute walk to their high street. Definitely recommend!

Location was great to go and explore all that Salzburg has to offer. Jana on reception was amazing. She helped organise a birthday surprise and advised us where to visit. Her service was fantastic and explained things in detail and marked places for on the map for us. Jana also organised a taxi for us and had found out how much it would cost us to get to the airport. Alicia on reception also helped by giving us recommendations of places to go and eat. I couldn’t fault the hotel. There was a lot of choice for Breakfast and a big selection of teas too. Really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is very well placed, close to the pedestrian walk through the shops and restaurants. Also very close to the river and the old-city centre. The staff at the reception were very pleasant and helpful. The parking accomodation, though far from the hotel, is very well organized with a parking-card that allows easy entry-exit. The room was well organized, with sufficient outlets for charging your devices + a plug in the barhroom. stocked Minibar + nespresso machine (though coffee capsules are of poor quality). Bathroom and shower are comfortable and well-stocked. Breakfast was quite good.

The scrambled eggs were not real. The lighting in the room was quite sombre, which, in addition to the dark decor of the room, made the whole light conditions poor. if you are a smoker, you will find no accomodation for your nasty habit. There is not even a seat/table with an ashtray outside. Sitting outside on the pavement with other smokers is not a very good image for the hotel. Last, but not least, the price of the room was too expensive for the size of the room and the hotle in general.

The hotel location is great, several nice neighborhood restaurants within a 5 minute walk and only a 10 minute walk into the tourist zone of the old city. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We had a corner room with a nice view. We have been traveling in Europe for over 2 months so having an elevator and a good working air conditioner was very nice. Access by car was easy as it is not in a restricted driving zone, you can pull up on the curb right in front of the hotel to unload. We returned our rental car right after we arrived but it looks like the hotel has its own small underground garage and there was another public parking faculty just down the street. The front desk staff was very friendly, efficient, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel has a nice lobby bar, Varun the bartender was awesome!

The basic included WiFi was horrible, very slow and we had to reconnect several times. Perhaps the upgraded service for which they charge a daily fee is better?

Very good service and relatively good location, walking distance to the center of the city. Room had great space and a Nespresso machine.

Water for the room shouldn't be so expensive, 7 euros for a bottle. Also it is the hotel choice but if breakfast was slightly cheaper, I am sure many more people would have breakfast at the hotel. The competition is fierce since there are a lot of great cafes where you can have a great 15 euro breakfast.
