The room was clean, spacious and quiet (considering the location in the center of Vienna - 8 minutes walk from Schottentor stop). There is a cleaning service. The furnishings are older, however I don't see this as a problem. The breakfast menu is smaller but surprisingly tasty. I missed the scrambled eggs for example, only boiled eggs are available. Otherwise, you can find basically everything you need here. The whole hotel is strangely laid out, the breakfast area is interestingly located above the reception and you walk to the rooms in a completely different part of the building and half of it looks like private apartments. It's simply interesting. The same goes for the layout of my room. The bathroom was divided into three rooms: a separate sink, a separate shower, which isn't in a separate room, only in some kind of an alcove of the main room, and a separate toilet. Again, it's not a problem, it's just interesting. The separate toilet and shower might actually be great for more than one person in the room. There's no elevator. I don't have a problem with it, but someone might miss it.

The staff were kind. The breakfast was exceptional; we really liked the wide range of baked goods, and the coffee machine made the best coffee I've ever tried. The room actually looked better in reality and was more modern than in the uploaded pictures. The bed was really comfy. The shower and the toilet were clean. The WiFi worked perfectly, and there were a lot of TV channels as well.

The walls were too thin, so we often woke up during the night when other guests arrived back at the accommodation or were taking a bath. The corridor was dilapidated compared to the rooms.

it was in a good location and the staff was really friendly. the room was big and clean. it also had second pillow if you wanted.

the bathroom didn't have any kind of ventilation so this was a bit of a problem for smells. also the room soundproofing was nor that good and if people was talking a bit loud in the corridor you definitely would wake up.

Our room was plenty warm and was big enough for the 4 of us. The included breakfast was awesome, a huge selection. Different breads, meats, boiled eggs, cheeses, spreads, basic salad, cereals, jams, yoghurt, canned fruit, juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The only suggestion I could make would be to provide fresh sliced fruit, such as melons, pineapple, grapes, etc. Also good connections to public transport.

The only complaint I could say was the 2 pillows on our large Queen bed, were lumpy and too thin, but I'm sure the staff would have been accommodating, should we have remembered to asked for different pillows.

Very clean, the staff was friendly, the location is great. Room is simple but with everything you need. It is a bit old fashioned, but it also made me feel more like I was at home, and made me feel very comfortable.

I could hear the people in the room near mine extremely well. They didn’t make noise at night (at least not that I could hear) but if you are a light sleeper then that might be an issue

The room was fantastic, the breakfast was brilliant, the staff were great. We arrived late at night and received helpful instructions for a seamless check in with no issues

Although the room was perfectly silent during the night, there was some noise in the morning, both in the corridor and also from some maintenance work taking place

Everything was very good, the city, the hotel, the location and the breakfast. The hotel was located 3 minutes from the Shotentor metro station. The breakfast selection was good. Not to mention the reception staff every question got an instant solution. It is also commendable that the check was made earlier than planned. Special thanks to Ola.

Location is great as hotel is in walking distance to all the attractions in the center. Breakfast was very good. Stuff - very helpfull. Definitely I am recomending this hotel.

I can mention only 2 things: 1. One of the beds was less comfortable, but for 2 nights it was perfectly managable. 2. Hotel is located in a parking zone that is available to area citizens only. I asked that the receptionist, but she did not know that. Luckly, I went to double check that as I could get a high fine. If you are lucky, you might find a free spot on a street in front of the hotel.

The staff were very friendly during our stay. The rooms were comfortable and there was lots of storage space. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh. The location was perfect with a tram station opposite and a train station a few minutes away. They provided a fan, a kettle, a television, a locker and a couple of lamps. It was a typical Viennese building.

I didn’t like the amount of lighting in the property. The bathroom space was very inconvenient and small.

good, polite, and kind staff. They allowed me to have the room before the official check in hours and held my luggage for a couple of hours after I checked out. Very clean and easy to find location. It was also a safe area, especially when you're a solo traveler. P.S. the rooms are better than in the photos.
