The hotel is nicely decorated in many vibrant colours. It's African themed. The location is conveniently close to Antwerp Central station where there are many restaurants, shops and bars. It is also quite close to the old town, about 15 minutes walk. The room was nice and comfortable and the bathroom was also nice. The breakfast is good, not exceptional but there is a good choice and it's a buffet. AC is good and there is a lift to the upper floors. The room did not have a kettle although in the middle of the week someone brought a kettle, probably by mistake because I had mine and did not need one. The supplies were not replenished the following day. Some of the staff were more helpful than others but fine on the whole. The bins were cleaned every day and the towels changed even if they were not on the floor.

What I did not like was that the water in the bathroom sink took quite some time to go down and one of the night lamps was not working after a couple of days. I reported both twice but no action was taken about either of them. My report was completely ignored. Instead I got an unrequested kettle!

a lovely newly renovated hotel with a comfortable bed in the center of the town , right near meir shopping street & a variety of pubs and restaurants. the wifi was absolutely incredible & so was the hair dryer. the air con was extremely freezing though hard to make it function and way too loud. the windowsill was large and it was quite nice.

for a new hotel you’d think there will be a fridge or kettle but there was neither. the lightning was terrible even when all the lights were on we saw nothing the was a bad odor from the closet , probably because it’s new. i checked beforehand whether or not the hotel provides ice and was told there is but when i got there and asked they said that although i received a response there is a bucket of ice there is a misunderstanding… when we wanted to do an early check in they asked us for an additional 25 euros & while it was written about the late check out that they take additional fee , it was not mentioned anywhere about early check in.

Well located hotel: five minutes walk from Central Station and all the main attractions within easy walking distance. It was still quiet, even though my room faced onto the main road (excellent sound proofing!). Very comfortable and clean and all the facilities you'd expect in this standard of hotel; good breakfast; very friendly staff. Excellent value for money as I booked well ahead.

Very small points: some more coat hangers would have been useful; the wifi was a bit erratic at times; more power points in the room (most were taken up by lamps and the kettle).

Air conditioning largely ineffective. Set at lowest temp (19), fan at high, temperature never went below 23 degrees during stay. Staff member called advised me to 'keep curtains closed'! Despite advertising a bar, there wasn't one. Staff said it "was coming". Minor problems with room: A bulb was not working; I thought room service would pick it up but didn't. The mirrors in the bathroom had light and heating switches, but neither was working (same in my daughter's room next door). Shampoo but no conditioner. Compendium in one room but not the other. Also was surprised that in a new hotel there were no usb charging ports. Room was advertised as 20m2 but felt nothing like it. The two previous hotels we stayed at were 14 and 15m2 and felt the same size.

The hotel lobby is lovely. Staff was so nice and helpful in recommending place to go and helping us celebrate this weekend. The room (deluxe) was nice and the balcony was spacious with a good view. The room had everything we needed for the weekend. The hotel is pet friendly and my medium sized dogs (19 & 25 kilos) were very welcome. Will definitely stay again. The location is amazing and near all the shops and food without being directly in the center of them (5 min walk)

We love our stay; the only feedbacks would be; streaming service options on the television so we can sign into our own services (TV had not guide and had to flick endlessly through channels) and to upgrade the balcony furniture to make it more pleasant to enjoy the balcony it is very spacious and could have done with better seating and a table. Not deal breakers by any means and we will stay again.

One of the nicest and best hotels I have stayed in. The staff are amazing ( every member of staff I dealt with was awesome). The hotel itself is in a great central location. When you enter into the reception and lobby area it feels like a five star hotel. My room was spotless, spacious, stylish with a high quality bathroom. I especially liked the super comfortable bed.

The bathroom could do with some towel hooks closer to the shower. A fridge would also be a nice little extra. Jamingo is luxury at an affordable price. I would recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is quite newly "taken over" from different one so it had less reviews then we are used to - everything was okay though, the Hotel Jamingo is 100% real :-) Staff is very friendly and helpful, there are food machines in the lobby so you can buy some snack 24/7 and also you can pour yourself a wine or have a beer. Rooms were nice as well, clean. The price of the hotel was quite low (we stayed there during Tomorrowland), I believe it will be much more next year. Location is great, in the city center.

Breakfast was quite average for the price, we preffered to go somewhere else. We left the room with lights off (save energy) and closed curtains + opened windows for air. We came back at night with curtains open and full lights everywhere so 1000 mosquitos in our room - thank you cleaning lady.

All staff at reception were fantastic! Very friendly, helpful and professional. Staff at the breakfast room was also friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet - I did request a quiet room at booking, away from the main road. The room location I was given was perfect.

1.Hot breakfast was okay but cold on one occasion. Would be nice to have a choice of scrambled and whatever the triangle eggs are that were offered. Potatoes were boring. Bacon was only offered on Sunday. The continental selections were very good. 2. A stool is needed to reach the hangers in the bedroom closet. Too high - OK for 1.80+m tall people! I'm 1.65m and had to request standard hangers. 3. Bathroom needs more hooks to hang clothes/used towels. There was only one hook. The towel rack was also too high, I had to jump up to get the towels.

I traveled solo and it was very close from Antwerp Central. Everything is nearby from the hotel. The Opera metro was within 2 mins walking distance. I really got a great welcome from the reception the moment I arrived and they made my stay memorable. I borrowed iron and requested slippers and thought it was a good addition to the facilities. The bed was super comfy and the TV actually worked and had good choice of channels. I even used the cast option to connect my phone to watch anime. I got checked in early around 12 30 ish as the room was ready and available and I really appreciated that as the day I arrived, it was raining heavily. Overall, I loved my stay and would book again if I ever go to Antwerp.

Nothing really

The location is pretty close to the city center and also to the Central Station. You have supermarkets as Lidl, Jumbo.. and I think also Albert Heijn close to the hotel. The place is pretty quiet, clean and they have so friendly and helpful staff. The bed was really nice, I had a good sleep. I loved the bath lotions.

There were few things that I didn't like. I didn't have a refrigerator in the room and also I didn't have anything to boil some water to make some tea. I believe these are the only cons but for one night it was fine. I don't know if all the rooms are the same but this was my experience. Anyway, over all I had a good one. Thank you!
