If you're travelling by train, and want conveniently located, then this place will definitely be the right spot. Its across the street from Antwerp central station. At first I was concerned that we were quite far from the old town, but there is a metro line from just a few meters of the hotel entrance, which heads directly to the old city center. Antwerp metro tickets are cheap enough to not be a problem, just make sure to ask the hotel staff if you don't know your way around. As for the hotel itself, the lobby is nice and modern, but quite confusing when you first enter, because the reception is up on floor with the stairs/elevator. The room was nice enough for the price, and we had no complaints, it was clean and the beds were quite nice. Breakfast was decent, a nice selection of continental items in a buffet.

I had a lovely stay at the Hampton By Hilton Antwerp Central Station! The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to Antwerp Central Station and within walking distance of the city center. The complimentary breakfast was excellent – great variety and delicious options to start the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, addressing any issues promptly

The breakfast area can get quite busy during peak times, and some minor maintenance issues in the room could use attention. However, these were small inconveniences in an otherwise comfortable and convenient stay. Note parking on street is very limited, with paid parking a short walk.

Very convenient location and very friendly and helpful staff at reception and at breakfast. We had a really spacious and quiet room which was exactly what we needed! The communal space was really good too as we met up with some friends and work colleagues and were able to have a meeting without disturbing anyone else. Really lovely hotel.

The shower head support was broken so it was about 4ft off the ground - not a complete disaster for someone short like myself, but not great for taller people. Plus the water flow was very weak which didn't help! Our phone also started bleeping non-stop at 6am on our first night (it wasn't a wake up call) so we had to unplug it for the rest of our stay. That said, we still really liked the hotel and staff and had we not been there on a Sunday it is likely maintenance would have been able to fix these issues.

The breakfast is full of many different type of food, variety is always good. The eggs in the morning, were the best. In my opinion, the breakfast was the best in this hotel, from all of the hotels that I stayed in during the last 10 years. Hands down to the chefs ! The staff was very friendly, especially the woman with dark / brown dark hair, Short, and around 25 years I guess. Welcoming person, Funny, and extroverted. The cleaning lady was also very nice, and pleasant to talk to at Any time. Hands down to the people working there ! They make a good team work !

That I couldn’t open the window, because it had no handle. I am used to sleep with an open window since I was born, because I need to feel fresh air when I fall Asleep / when I sleep / when I wake up, otherwise I will fall very hard to sleep, and not sleep good, and wake up with a fatigue senzation. It is what it is, so I had to get used to it, for the 2 nights that I stayed in the room. I just turned the temperature to 18 ( the minimum ) and the fan to High power. You Could add Windows with a handle, that ONLY open for a few centimeters, or opens vertically. Besides that, I got nothing else to Say I did not Like. Everything was very, very nice and pleasant, I can truly Say I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Thank you !

Excellent location. The hotel is in front of Antwerp central station. Walking distance to old town. Short train ride to Ghent. Good breakfast. Our room was large, comfortable bed. Very clean, and very quiet. The air conditioner was working very well which does not happen very often in Europe.

Our safe was not working so asked to fix it but it took 2 days to fix, about time to leave. Toilet flashing was not working properly. We left our luggages at hotel for a few hours. When we wanted to pick them up, a guy told us to wait a minutes and went on a break, did not come back. The front desk person realized and brought our luggages out and apologized.

Room was spacious, coffee provided in room, nice close to train station and shopping, front staff during day and night was excellent, especially one guy on sept 26 who helped 4 women(one had pink tips on hair). he was dark haired. he went above and beyond in making sure we knew how to find the places we wanted to go safely,

Room: workmanship on it looked rushed, the ceiling in the shower was peeling off and dark colored. The black guy who was on shift 6am sept 27 2024 was supposed to have 4 packed lunches ready for us to catch train and our flight home, he sleepily sat there while we waited from 5:45, then when it was past 6, we asked again and he jumped up and said they are ready, then he went to breakfast room and put a banana, piece bread, etc in a bag. I could have a done a better job.

The location is amazing!!!! Lots of restaurants and shopping just steps away and the main attractions within 15 min walk. Good mattress, good pillows and sheets, very spacious and clean. Good bathroom, the shower could have more pressure but it wasn’t an issue. Good wifi, very nice breakfast. Electric kettle in the room.

There was just one electric outlet on the bed’s side and we were three so was a little uncomfortable charging the phone on the other side of the room

The location was just outside of the train station and perfect for any city traveler. The room itself was nice and simple and the bathroom was really clean and simple. The reception personnel were really nice and helpful when I had any needs. Overall I thought that it is a really good hotel for a short city trip.

The lift was sometimes a bit irrational in its movements and I had to wait a bit until I could get to the reception and then my room at the beginning. The bed was slightly on the softer side and my personal preference is to have a rather hard bed.

We stayed at the Hampton By Hilton as coming to flanders to watch the start of the Tour of Flanders. It is located right next to the train station which was ideal for us. It's about a 20 minute walk to Grote Markt and the cathedral. Restaurants and bars just around the corner. High street with shops on the way to the cathedral. Zoo on the other side of the train station, which was much bigger than we expected. Chocolate nation is also very close and worth a visit if you like chocolate. The staff were all very friendly. Room was good size and lovely big bed. We had an issue with sewage smell halfway through, but they moved us to a different room quickly and checked with us the next day that everything was OK. Bar in the hotel is open from approx 3pm to 10pm but can sit in the bar area when not open. Bus stop outside the entrance. Tram stops just round the corner. Supermarket next door.

Smallest grumble was the wait for waffle machine at breakfast. Would be handy to have another one but it's a tiny complaint in an otherwise lovely stay. A mini fridge would be useful in the room to keep bottles of water in.

Breakfast was satisfactory. The room was a good size with sufficient storage space. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the main station and there are many restaurants, bars and cheap eateries nearby. Check in was smooth and one of the breakfast staff could not have been any more helpful and friendly.

The main entrance area is adjacent to a very busy bus stop without adequate rubbish bin provisions so it was often untidy from litter. There was a bad sewage smell at the front door and in the basement fitness room. The combined reception and breakfast areas are only provided with 1 w.c./washroom per M/F and at peak times these were in constant use. The buffet breakfast plan arrangement doesn't work as the area is too congested at peak times. The same food was served up every day and nothing of any local speciality.
