This was our second time staying at an IHG hotel (stayed at IHG York last year). All of the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, the room was very clean and nicely decorated, the facilities were great, and the hotel was very quiet so we slept well each night. Location was superb, price was really good, and the restaurant was lovely too. I also thought the cleaning voucher scheme was really great and we took advantage of it during our stay and used our credit towards a lovely meal in the restaurant. I’m so glad we chose this hotel and I would definitely recommend.

Nothing negative to say. Everything was great and the hotel exceeded our expectations.

The room we got offered a free bottle of water and a couple of Nespresso, this was a really nice touch on the stay. We got there very tired and having it on the room at that moment was amazing! We enjoyed everything there, from the breakfast to the room and staff. The location is very good, really close to Antwerp's Central Station which is very good if you are using the train to travel between cities, which was our case.

The breakfast was good but could be better. The scrambled eggs were not of my taste, and, since I have never made waffles before, I missed some additional information on how to do one. I'd prefer someone there to explain it to me. But it's really amazing to have a waffle machine there, I'd have loved to use it.

Location, fresh and clean, hip decor, friendly staff, fun sustainability initiatives: skip your room being cleaned for a night and you get a gift voucher to spend at the bar.

We paid the city tax when I checked out!! I’m used to it being included when I book online, so this was a first for me, perhaps it’s a Belgium thing!? :) Just wanted a croissant & coffee for breakfast, but it’s buffet only in the morning. It wasn’t a problem though, we went out for breakfast.

Great atmoshpere, really nice design of rooms, and a decent breakfast. The room was just the right size for one person (if it is ever booked as a double, I could imagine it being rather tight). It had a supr cozy vibe. I loved the window bench and the live hanging plant. Both were a really nice, unexpected touch. Made the room feel more like home than a sterile soul-less hotel room one usually expects to walk into. The bathroom seemed a bit small, but it turned out just right. The shower was great; I really enjoyed it! Oh, and the amaretto sour I had before going up to my room to sleep was really tasty! So I had two... and another one next evening :)

There was a bit of a off-putting odour coming out of the bathroom... smelled sort of like stale humidity. The bathroom door, however, is one of those self-closing ones, so I could not air it out. There was also no toilette brush in the bathroom. There was a sign in the room that one could be asked for at the recpetion, but that felt strangely weird. The most problematic thing, however, was the matress. It was exteremely uncomfortable, worn-out, squeeky, way too soft (when I sat on it it went almost completely flat). I really did not get any comfort or support out of it. There were sufficient pillows, so I put some underneath me at the strategic points and was able to get some sleep. But the hotel management really, truly, quickly needs to invest into new mattrasses.

Hotel Indigo has a funky modern retro design at the reception and in the bedrooms. The staff are young and friendly. the breakfast is good quality and value for money if you are hungry. It is one of very few hotels in Belgium that accept EcoCheques which is great for a Belgian looking for a short break in the country and also means the hotel works to protect the environment.

This is not a grand luxury hotel with lots of space but then the price reflects that and for those looking for an economical yet pleasant and comfortable hotel with a lot of individuality have the ideal place to go.

Where can I start about the amazing experiences we've had at Hotel Indigo? This wasn't our first time, we are returning guests. When we decided to come to Antwerp again, there was no doubt of where we wanted to stay. We booked through booking.com. We arrived from the Netherlands by train, the hotel is conveniently located across from Antwerp Central Station. Check in was smooth and super straightforward. The front desk employee Neil and his colleague on the evening of Saturday the 17th of September 2022 were absolutely the best! Upon check in, the experience was great, we were even offered some local chocolates as a welcome to Antwerp and we even made some conversation with him and his colleague, laughed a little together and then we made way to our room. Amazing people. The room is exactly as you see online, the view from the window is very nice. You have lots of restaurants, bars and cafes conveniently located around the corner. For this trip we only spent one evening to celebrate an important milestone for my fiance so the next morning we didn't opt for the breakfast but on our previous stay we did. The breakfast was very nice, the food had a nice and fresh selection. Please try the self service waffle station! The bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. More about the room - the bed is extremely comfortable, the design of the room is very cozy and the bathroom is very nice too! The water pressure is just perfect. The amenities of the room were very nice also. I wish I could explain more about the small details but it's something you should see yourself. Located in the center of Antwerp, you're in a good location. Check out was also very nice, the receptionist gave us two delicious cookies on our way out. Without a doubt on our next time in Antwerp, we will stay there! Thank you Hotel Indigo, Neils and the entire front desk and hospitality team for the amazing experience.

There was a bit of noise in the evening. It was nothing too crazy that kept us up. Slight noise from people outside talking. This was nothing that had to do with the hotel staff or the facilities! :)

Super friendly staff! We arrived several hours early, wanted to leave our bags qt the hotel, and the staff found an available room and allowed us to check in early! Much appreciated. Room was perfectly clean and very comfortable, with beautiful view of the square. Luxurious bathroom and shower. Fantastic bed, large and very comfortable. Elegant decorations, and quiet/ sound-proofed. Great experience, will book again.

- The room (decoration, size, etc.) - The linens - The breakfast - The location right next to the train station and near the park and restaurants

- Out of all the equipment listed for the room, both the safe and refrigerator were nowhere to be found. I may not have looked perfectly, but I looked around the room, and tried opening everything that was openable (not much). - The room was very cold even after putting on the airconditioning to heat the room. Had to ask the reception, they did something (no idea what) and the problem was resolved. - Some of the personnel was sometimes cold and nervous, but in general they were nice. - The TV had sometimes connection issues and didn't work properly. I swear this happens at almost every hotel nowadays...

The breakfast was amazing. Fresh bread, fruit and everything. Perfect. Very neat and clean. And oh so tasty.

The drain in sink was apparently stuffed so the water didn't drain away properly. It clearly wasn't vacuumed every day, but we did get fresh towels every day abd the bed was made. So it didn't bother us as much.

We had a different booking elsewhere which we had to cancel, and this hotel gave us a room right away, even though it was midnight! Had we not gotten a room here, we would have had to sleep in the car. The receptionist stayed longer just so we could check in, and we were greeted with a smile and free chocolate.

The room was a bit cold and we could not change the temperature (or rather, it would switch back immediately)
