private rooms are great, clean & comfy

the luggage room doesn’t offer lockers and we got our airpods stolen. Would not recommend leaving your lugagge there

The property is conveniently located near the main train station and is a short walk from the city center and a shopping street which makes it easy to reach. We stayed at one of the top floors, so the night views on the city were spot on. The room itself was nice and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious, and heating unit worked fine. Shared kitchen and dining area were clean as well. Just a note for travellers: if you chose checking in via reception (and not via mobile app), you might need to go to Bar ALMA next door to find the reception and get checked-in as the hotel reception was empty when we arrived.

Just a suggestion: it would be nice to have a second chair in double room as right now one of the guests needs to sit on the clean bedding.

Excellent location. ALL of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Although I didn't use the kitchen area it looked well appointed and clean as were the dining areas. My private room was better than a lot of hotels I've stayed in. It was spacious with good storage and a large table. The shower was great. The mattress was a bit softer than I like but it was comfortable and all of the bedding was spotless. This place is great value.

The elevator broke down on the Saturday evening and wasn't repaired by the time I left on Monday at lunchtime, thankfully I was on the 4th floor. The water also went off as well so I was unable to shower before going out. I don't like carpet in bedrooms. Another chair is needed. Hand soap for the sink is needed as it is separate from the toilet and shower room. The garden area would benefit from a tidy up and clean. Picnic benches would be a good asset instead of the inadequate furniture in place. I thoroughly recommend this place.

The location is quite good, near the Central Train Station or bus station and there are plenty of restaurants and fast food chains in the immediate neighborhood, if you need to grab a bite. There are also grocery shops nearby, about a 10-minute walk away, and a night shop too. I loved the little coffee shop they have downstairs too. If you fancy a 20-minute stroll around the city in order to reach the main square, I believe this is the place for you. Personally, I loved the walk there and believe that the price-distance ratio was totally worth it. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. The view from our room was beautiful, it was nice to wake up to the buzzing city. We didn’t use the kitchen or the garden, but they looked clean and cozy.

The drawback is that it gets a little noisy from the outside, but there’s nothing the hosts can change about that, given the location. Sleep with the window closed and you should be fine. I didn’t really understand why the sink was in the bedroom, outside the restroom, but maybe that is a concern of the building logistics. However, I wish a little bar of soap would have been provided for the sink. Shower gel is provided in the shower cabin, though.

Very good concept, "do it yourself" check in, should be good, should be bad in rainy windy wheater, machine for check in is out on the street, in the evening or night a bit uncomfy. Good bar and restaurant with stylish decoration and atmosphere. Wash machine, luggage room a little u usual in wet basement, maybe better use railway station lockers. Good stylish corridors and room with bathroom, a little small but not horrible also full. (4 people) Good location close opera and cca 1 km from central railroad station Antwerpen. Close the center ..

Machine fir check in was outside, rains and wind and also nobody cares about my phone's, it's classic. Later I check in with help of smoking guy outside. Maybe better explain, what we need F.E. number of reservation etc. Hard to everything finding during procédure outside on the sidewalk...

I liked how close to city centre is the cleanliness and lovely staff The lady at the reception called Lorrance was an angel with me , she helped me check in early since I was extremely tired that day and made everything so easy and pleasant for me introducing me to other Janet Jackson. Fan who was going to the concert and even playing Janet music for us. This impeccable not only customer service but human quality is what makes a difference and makes you wanna come back. I felt like home so thank you Lorrance. Totally recommended

The only bad thing was that there was no hand soap in the bathroom

Very nice balance between: “Close to the City Centre” and “Close to the Train Station.”. Decent Wi-Fi (can’t recall it failing on me). It has a “Velo” public biking system right next to it too! :) It’s seem to be a nice place to meet new people if you’re into that.

The Check-In process, you have to Upload pictures / Scans of your Documents, If you don’t do it before-hand, it can be kind of a pain to stand outside while you do it. I ended up getting in when another person staying went in and doing the Check-in process with Staff, but I hadn’t noticed they had already closed the Lobby (closes at 20:00), so I kinda stormed in while staff was already cleaning it up, was slightly awkward but they helped me out to check-In :)

Wow. Did not expect such a social and lively place. So close to the central station as well as bus station as well!! Although many “student hostels” advertise as such, this truly was a youth hostel. It felt safe and I was very comfortable sharing a room with at least 18 others. The bar seemed okay too and it was fairly easy to make friends. I believe we met the owner / caretaker, an older gentleman who let us stay well past the assigned closing times of the social space.

Nothing that comes to mind.

The room was nice, modern and spacious. Plenty of outlets, some hangers, and a fan. The sink was outside the bathroom which is actually nice as I can more easily get ready while the other person showers or uses the toilet. There was full self check-in and check out, and a room to store the bags.

There was no smaller bed lamp, only strong ceiling lights. The shower has a glass wall to the outside (not transparent, don't worry) so if someone turns on the bathroom light the whole room lights up. Poor water pressure and no shelves or anything. No hand soap on the sink, only attached to the shower. I like self check-in but honestly felt a little overcomplicated plus you have to install an app on your phone and have bluetooth and battery to even get to your floor so just bear that in mind. And if you're a couple, the beds are twins which easily separate. But otherwise more than fine!

The hostel has everything you're looking for in a hostel. It was centrally located in the city, the accomodation looked well maintained on the inside and the facilities were nice, with a large kitchen and cozy common area. I stayed here for an event in the Sportpaleis which can easily be reached by metro, even late in the night. I met a lot of other people who were going as well so it's a great hostel to socialize.

For me it was unclear to take a padlock for the locker and the pillow was too soft/thin, but that's very minor.
