Location: - 10 min walk to central station, 15 walk to old town; - tram, metro, restaurants, and supermarkets right outside; Facility(apartment): - Very new and clean; - TV is smart with Netflix; - Powerful shower and warm water, but the shower door leaks water outside. - has a modern laundry machine; - has a water kettle, oven / microwave, dishwasher Service: - convenient self check-in and self check-out online; - friendly staff.

Facility: - poor sound proof to the connecting apartment and we hear everything next door; - poor building design and we have to walk to a different building and take 2 different elevators just to get to our apartment every time! Would be much better if guests don’t need to wait for multiple elevators every time. Service: - charges 10 euro for an extra duvet for the bed. Very unreasonable and never experienced before (I travel quite often). Makes people wonder what kind of business you want to run if you are charging extra for a second duvet for 2 guests. - bare minimum reception

We had a great time in Antwerp which is a really great city to visit and is also a well located place from which to explore the rest of Belgium. The apartment was really lovely, very comfortable and very quiet. All furniture and fittings are at a high standard, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage. The kitchen area was well designed with everything working as advertised. The partment block is really well located with most parts of the city in easy walking distance but the Opera metro station is 1 minute walk if your feet get sore. There are plenty of good supermarkets nearby for stocking up on supplies. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our tv stopped working at one point and they replaced it very quickly with no fuss. I'd highly recommend this place if you're in lovely Antwerp

Honestly, I can't think of anything

The location was great with the Opera metro/tram station right down the street and the Central train station about 7 minutes walk away. We went on day trips from Central station, and went into town using the tram. It's also walking distance to the Meir shopping street. The street the hotel is on feels residential and safe. The nearby street that leads to the train station has numerous restaurants and shops (try Ellis for great burgers). There is also a grocery store two doors down from the hotel. They also always had someone on duty at the front desk. We asked several questions on different occasions and they were always friendly and helpful. You can also contact them with whatsapp, which made things really easy. The penthouse apartment was great, spacious for two couples with access to a terrace, very comfortable beds, and great showers. It had adequate dishes and pans and coffee maker for us to make our own breakfast each morning. They also had coffee always available at the front desk area! I also like that they had a locker lounge area on the "first" (American 2nd) floor with sofa, chairs, table and bathroom, and of course free lockers for storing luggage. When you drop off your luggage they give you an elevator card to use to get back to that lounge. This made it possible to leave the luggage and yet have a nice place to come back to and rest a bit before we had to catch our train.

The penthouse apartment was in a different building. To get to it you had to first go up one floor, walk a long hallway which included one small flight of stairs, and then take another elevator. Elevators require a keycard. You went down those stairs on the way in and up those stairs on the way out, which was really a problem with heavy luggage either way. I suppose that design couldn't be helped, just be aware there is no stairless access for rooms in that part of the hotel.

The accommodation really had everything one could wish for! The rooms were carefully thought out to the detail. Everything was meticulously cleaned and the utensils provided looked brand new. Staff was kind and patient and gave lots of recommendations on where to eat around the neighborhood. Complimentary items (such as coffee and tea, cleaning products and tablets for the dishwasher and laundry machine,...) were a plus :)

There was a small issue with drainage in the shower, which was promptly fixed by the staff. It would also be nice to have fresher and lighter bed sheets for the summer (but to be fair we did not ask for it at the time). Overall, the positive aspects clearly overcame these small details.

Very good location, quite close to Antwerp Central, a lot of cafes a / stores near by. We were staying in a 45m^2 one bedroom apartment with 4 people, and at first I was skeptical that the apartment would be small, but in fact, it wasn't - both bed and the sofa bed in the studio room were very comfy, apartment offered separate bathroom and toilette (which were quite roomy). Kitchen had everything necessary. Everything was very clean and the reception desk worked 24/7 and they offered free locker rooms before and after check-in/check-out.

The only drawback I'd mention, is that our apartment was quite far from the main entrance and you can easily get lost and it's a bit hard to walk there with a lot of luggage, but once you learn the details, it becomes easier :)

Overall, we had a great stay at Yays Antwerp Opera. Can highly recommend - lots of strengths and just very little shortcomings made for really nice holiday experience for us. Pluses: - comfortable room and bathroom size (with separate toilet) - fast WiFi - well-equipped kitchenette - garage (remember to book in advance as the space is limited) - central location - groceries, cafes and diners in proximity of the hotel

On the shortcomings, which is something as just taking a note, rather than considerable negatives: - rooms in the second building require a bit of wandering thru the corridors and taking two elevators - mind if you require quick access to the entrance. We were aware of it, as others already mentioned in their ratings, so it was not a big deal for us at all. And this one would actually be a major drawback in our case: - pillows of the bedding are really super uncomfortable (chunky and stiff), easily causing neck pain. We used the decorative ones instead. Not the best, but worked well for us. Would be great if hotel worked on offering a better selection here.

This was a great hotel. It had everything! It really felt like a home away from home - an actual closet with enough hangers for BOTH of us - a chest of drawers - washer/dryer combo - dishwasher, microwave, oven toaster, nespresso machine, etc - a small amount of dish soap, laundry detergent and coffee to get you started and even bonus goodies, like a toilet/sink in a separate room from the main sink/shower - fantastic for sharing! The bed was comfortable, it was quiet at night, everything was super clean, and the location was ideal.

The worst part was having to leave, knowing that no other hotel will be this good.

great location since it s quite close to central station and there s supermarket downstairs. staff are all nice and happy to help. rooms are spacious, well decorated and washing machine is big plus for longer stay! the price is also quite reasonable compared to neighboring countries like netherlands so i would recommend travelers to check this accommodation if they find hotels elsewhere to be very overpriced

this is more like an apartment instead of a hotel so it s understandable that there s no daily cleaning service etc. but usually in apartments the housekeeping team would come and take out the trash three or four days a week. (here you can still request for it but if you forget then the garbage bins all become full which is not very ideal)

The apartment hotel was very clean and spacious. Good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. Private parking was expensive but very secure and easy to access from the hotel. The apartment had everything that we needed and we would definitely book with YAYs again if we have to go back to Antwerp.

The hotel parking could be a little cheaper. The apartment we had was a little tricky to access via 2 lifts and a long hallway to walk through. First day was confusing but then we remembered how to get there. After a long tiring day with kids and lots of things to carry, the labyrinth style set up was not ideal. Nothing wrong with the hotel itself but the area surrounding it is a little dodgy. Did not feel very safe

The apartment was clean and has facilities like a washing machine (+ dryer functionality), a dishwasher and a oven/microwave. The hotel is located at a nice area with shops within walking distance. Also there is a parking garage available (additional charge).

We had a crib/cot for our baby in our bedroom. Unfortunately we barely had any space left to get into our bed after that, plus the curtains were not fully blinding so our baby had trouble falling asleep and was waking up very early because of the sunlight. About the dishwasher and washing machine, it would be good if there were manuals for this or at least a simple instruction to turn them on and run the basic programs. I was kindly helped through WhatsApp by one of the staff members, so eventually I got it working. The pillows were quite thick and hard, we couldn't sleep on them and had to take smaller pillows from the couch.
