The host and hostess took a personal interest in our wellbeing. They even tried to tailor the breakfast on each morning differently trying to satisfy our tastes. Do not book this place if you are in a hurry because the hosts have so much to share that the time just flies by. We could easily have booked extra nights with them and not have run out of things to talk about. We were blessed to have booked at a time when there was much festivities in Bruges and so had many walks into town which is minutes away, and never found it boring.

The cost of parking is a pity but the car was extremely safe all the time.

What a fantastic little BnB in Bruges. The hosts, Peter and Iris, as well as Miss Poppy, were exceptionally warm and welcoming. We spent four days in Bruges and could not have found a better place to stay. The room and whole home was full of beautiful antiques and decor and was almost like a museum. Peter had a story about each one and was very interesting. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and we enjoyed their company and suggestions for the area. We would definitely recommend Miss Poppy’s and would stay here again when in Bruges.

The only downside was having to leave.

Our seven-day stay at Peter and Iris (and, of course, Miss Poppy) B&B was exceptionally enjoyable and pleasant. Thanks to the hosts and their hospitality, we felt there like "at home away from home." Every day, we enjoyed delicious and varied breakfast served on beautiful porcelain in the cozy living room. Peter and Iris kept us informed about the history of Bruges and provided advice on exploring the most interesting places and choosing the best restaurants and pubs. The fact that the house is decorated in the English style of the Victorian era added extra charm to our stay - we felt like we had stepped into a different historical period for a few days. Our apartment was very clean, cozy, and functional. The bed was very comfortable with high-quality bedding. We especially appreciated the opportunity to make tea or mineral water in the room. Poppy's B&B is conveniently located in a quiet area not far from the center - within 5 to 15 minutes walking distance from all attractions. We highly recommend this place!!! The Victorian-style room was very large and fully furnished, from a kettle and coffee machine to a TV. You can relax in a large free-standing bathtub after a busy day. The location of the B&B is perfect for exploring the city on foot and a parking garage is just a few minutes' walk away. The best thing about B&B Poppys are the hosts Peter & Iris. They are so nice and are available to answer any questions and try to fulfill any wish. If you want, they will tell you interesting stories about Bruges. And of course there is also Poppy, the little Maltese who is just adorable.

Lovely quirky B&B and Peter, Iris and Miss Poppy were warm and welcoming. The room great, tea, coffee, biscuits and a few chocs, a map for the Christmas markets. Peter showed us the way to the car park which is all one way roads but only a 5 minute walk to the B&B. The centre is about 15 mins walk. Breakfast is served at 9am, but we had to leave before then so they packed us up a breakfast which was great! Would recommend this place if you're staying in Bruges 😀

The best B&B breakfast we had anywhere in Europe by far. Nothing was left out. The variety and quality of the food and beverages were both excellent and extraordinary. Our room was absolutely beautiful! The upgraded bathroom afforded every convenience that American travelers seek. The beverage sideboard was well-stocked with coffee, tea and water in addition to fabulous custom-made Belgian chocolates. A much-appreciated touch...fresh florals.

It would have been better if we could have stayed longer....our only disappointment was that we had to leave. The Innkeepers (and Poppy) were interesting and very hospitable.

The breakfast was absolutely exquisite and gourmet. The owners are beyond friendly, accommodating, and nice. Peter replies to messages right away and is always beyond helpful! The location was excellent and super close to the city center. Peter likes to tell alot of stories about the town and is very strong in history. Both Iris and Peter are really in love with Bruges and it really shows in the way they run and operate their lovely B&B.

The room and the B&B was super cozy comfortable and well decorated, especially for the Christmas season. The owners are incredibly friendly from the moment you walk in the door and are happy to share their stories with you over breakfast. Breakfast itself is huge and delicious. The location is perfect so that it's close to the center but not too busy. Only two rooms so plenty of privacy. Simply put- if you are a couple looking for a B&B in Brugges and it's available- book now.

Nothing. Truly one of the nicest B&B experiences from the nicest hosts.

We loved how friendly and helpful Peter and Iris were. They let us drop our bags early before check in to walk around town, and gave some good recommendations. The standing bath and the aircon were luxurious and the room was super unique and pretty with baroque furniture. The breakfast in the morning was a huge and delicious spread and regaled by happy stories of Bruges by Peter. A half hour walk through town from the train station reaches the bnb.

Very pretty rooms are as images on booking.com , nice big bath in the one, and spacious shower in the other. Comfortable beds, warm, cosy, and quiet. Helpful and friendly hosts. We loved Poppy the little pup. And the location is great. We didn't mind the fact that there are 3 flights of stairs to the rooms, but please note this for your luggage purposes. We had zero issues getting up with our 2 big suitcases. Please note that this is also someone's home you are staying in, and is a Bed and breakfast, not a hotel.
