This was a fantastic surprise! The B&B is located in the midst of Bruges, but the host gave us directions for how to take the free shuttle bus from the train station - a warning for others: look for the Kiss and Ride sign, which is a bit hidden and a ways apart from the main public transit stops. The property is beautiful and the host is exceptional. She showed us all of the facilities at our disposal, which amounted to an entire floor including a lovely balcony area, accessible through a private lift. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, and the host was accommodating, allowing us to leave our bags in the morning to go explore Bruges.

Perfect location on a very quiet street just 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The breakfast was amazing and the host Teresa ensured we had exactly what we wanted. There was great choice of savoury and sweet options, fresh fruits, yoghurts cooked breakfast, fresh juice teas or coffee. Teresa is an amazing host, very attentive and friendly, providing lots of useful information about Brugge, sightseeing and shops. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable. Walk to the windmills recommended. We loved our stay!!!

There isn't really anything we didn't like. We stayed on 2nd floor, our toilet was just outside the room this wasn't really an issue for us, but for some guests it may be better if within the room.

We loved our night stay at this property. Owners are lovely and make you feel very welcome. Breakfast was fab and it was very nice sitting and talking to other guests. The owner was fabulous with our 9 month old son, who also loved her. The kitchen upstairs was very handy to wash and make bottles up for our baby. We had a very comfortable sleep, everything was fabulous. Exceeded our expectations! The building is very well laid out, modern and clean! You are able to park along the road but it would be expensive as it’s a pay meter. We dropped our bags off, and the owner showed us where to park. Just on the ring road, approximately 8-10 minutes walk across the bridge and back along the canal. So it was a pleasant walk for us. Overall 10/10. Our 2nd time visiting Bruge at Christmas, it really is beautiful. Thank you for having us 😊

The host was just fantastic, we travelled with our 3 months baby and she really helped making our stay as comfortable as possible. We travelled by car and we were advised on the best area to park which was really helpful. The b&b is around 10 minutes walk from the center and from all the attractions so great location. If I will return to Bruges in the future I would certainly stay here again

Great location: close to everything, yet away from the tourist noise. Excellent facility: a modern building with modern conveniences, including elevator, amidst historic houses. And a wonderful hostess, Teresa, who advised us on sites worth visiting (and what to skip), served a breakfast to order, and even secretly took our wet shoes and socks and returned them to us dry.

Not a thing.

The location is amazing, the block it is on is not busy with tourists but it also very close to some touristy areas and some beautiful canals. It is also only about 5 minutes walk to the free shuttle bus stop! The space is very modern and clean and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. I also think it was excellent value for the price.

The only thing that was a little weird was the toilet on the second floor was outside of the room, so I had to go outside the room to use the toilet then back into the room to wash my hands. This was very minor though!

We felt very comfortable in this cozy place , perfectly clean and quiet place to rest . But the best part was Teresa , you can tell she works from her heart , the way she explains everything about the place and makes sure you understand, she also makes a delicious breakfast and is very into details. I had bought Belgium teas which I forgot at the b&b and she kindly took the time to go to the bus stop to return it to me . Not only recommend Wallake but also would choose it again for my next trip to Brugge.

The host is amazing - thoughtful, helpful and with a smile on her face! She helped us figure out the parking, she gave us a map, even highlighted the old centre route for us! She asked us what time we wanted to have breakfast and what we wanted. And she had everything ready then! wonderful! The room was very cozy and we had everything we needed. (I would have preferred it be darker - as I cannot sleep with light; but this is absolutely personal - not a criticism). Everything was incredibly clean - this is something I value more than staying in tip-top places! I have read the previous reviews and I saw people complain about the fact that there’s no sign for the B&B. I personally liked this aspect. I was surprised (even giggled) when I saw the little sign on the door (which is identical to the whole façade by the way), which says “Ring”. I think it’s by far nicer than having signs plastered on the building. Just follow Google maps and you’ll find it in no time 😉

Cannot think of anything related to the B&B to be honest. However, the city of Brugge might want to rethink the parking situation 🤔

The room was cozy, and the lighting was very warm and comfortable. It looked exactly like the pictures. The internet was good. We have watched our favorite videos on YouTube without any issues. Most of all, we enjoyed the hospitality of our host, Theresa. She was very welcoming and caregiving. She even offered us rain coats as it was raining cats and dogs when we arrived, and our umbrella was not keeping up with it. Thank you very much for this. We liked everything about our stay. Things to mention: + Smart TV in the room with netflix and youtube support. + The property has a separate entry and an elevator, so it's very easy to access the room without disturbing the host. + The kitchen has all the necessary utensils. Our stay was too short for us to actually use it, but it is easy to cook food there if you like. + We usually don't take the breakfast option, but we enjoyed it very much. The experience with the breakfast was very warm and home alike. + The property is very close to the city center and the canals. Theresa has explained how to arrive at the property: turns out there is a free shuttle bus to/from the train station. But Brugges is so beautiful we always walked.

This cozy family run hotel is just exceptional! It's very stylish, created with very good taste and managed professionally. It really exceeded our expectations. The host Teresa was friendly and, moreover, she really saved us from disaster as I forgot passports and my wallet in our room. So, we had a chance to visit this beautiful place in Brugge twice and thank Teresa for her hospitality and cordial welcome.

Nothing.
