It’s not far from the center

The hairdryer wasn’t working and I asked the girl in the reception 2 times too send someone to fix it but they didn’t

We liked the size of the rooms, that they inter-connected. The location was great. It was a quiet & calm atmosphere. Family friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and the dinner we had at the hotel.

We were really disappointed that the pool wasn't available for the first four days of our stay. It was one of the main reasons for booking the hotel...and the children were particularly upset that they had to wait four days to use the pool - out of a six day stay, this wasn't exactly the 4* service we were expecting.

The hotel is better than it looks in the photos. In August 23 the pool wasn't too busy but it got plenty of use. There are pool towels, robes and slippers in the room. The sauna and gym were also free. Mini fridge, kettle, mugs and glasses in the quiet room. We found our king size bed comfortable. The scaffold was still there during our stay but only obscured part of the window and no work was going on during the week. There is nothing you'd want to look out at anyway. For food and drinks, the Beer factory on Place de Luxembourg, a few minutes walk away. There are buses from Place de Luxembourg and you can touch on with a credit card. I think one goes to the airport for a better price than the IC train which you get to Gare du Midi and then need to pay (tap credit card) for a metro to Trone. Best excursion is to the Ghent altarpiece with VR tour. €5 ew from Gare du Midi.

Good location for what I needed

Tried on many occasions to contact the reception team prior to arrival phone just rang and rang ultimately just getting cut off reception team were ok but blamed it on low staffing no time to answer phones I also text them and emailed them no answer shocking service really from a professional hotel chain. That said I was upgraded after complaint so the did try to appease me. The really bad stuff was the stink in the elevators and restaurant and car park basement was sickening awful smell can’t be described yuk

Great, central location and my room was quiet which is the most important thing to me when staying in a hotel. Partly this was due to my request for a quiet, end of corridor room which I was given - moreover, they gave me a room over the garden rather than the street to really ensure quiet, which was kind - but also no noisy neighbours which is always a massive plus. I did not use any facilities and didn’t have breakfast at €22, so can not judge them.

Room was very clean but a bit dated and dreary in decor. The duvet was very thin so the bed was not snuggly. Not withstanding, the bed itself was not uncomfortable. Breakfast : was a shame there is only a blanket price of €25 for “American” or a bit less for Continental. I only wanted a cappuccino and an egg dish (scrambled eggs or poached eggs) so I turned it down at this price and went out to find what wanted at 1 minute’s walk at Karsmakers Coffee House.

Luxurious hotel, comfortable and glamorous room, really nice leisure facilities (pool and sauna). Overall wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Only negative is that hotel ask for a £50 deposit upon check-in to cover any costs which arise- common practice in nicer hotels but prefer this to be made clear beforehand so we could have budgeted for this.

the hotell has an excellent location, it looks very well and the staff is friendly.

the cleaning services were not made as we expected at such a hotel (towels not changed, cerain garbage we left were not taken). the shower had a problem: it was very hard to change the temperature of the water from cold to hot. you could end up either frozen or boiled. it took several minutes every time to set the water at the right temperature. the parking should be included in the price of the stay.

Enjoyed the facilities and location. Great pool, although not the biggest and can get busy at certain times. The cleanliness was superb, with great room service. Brilliant lobby area as well. Location was very central, easy to walk around or take public transport, be it train, tram or bus.

The pool timings for children needs improvement - 6pm no access to pool for children. If you have been out for the day and come back have to wait til the next morning. At times there is also no-one in the pool at that time. The room service and towel situation is poor - inadequate for number of people in room.

Staff was nice. Location was close to everything in the city that we needed to prepare for our day. Close to transit to get around quickly.

On thing I didn't like was that we reserved a twin bed room and it was changed to a single bed room. I didn't find out until I got to the room. I had made the reservation almost half a year in advance. Was told that the hotel was overbooked by 30+ for that type of room and I was likely bumped because of "revenue" reasons. They gave me and my brother access to the lounge as a way to make up for the issue, which it did. But to get an unexpected surprise like that for a trip that I had been planning for literally two years (Tomorrowland) was not nice.

May 2022

Great location, large room, excellent breakfast choices, very smart reception, bar / breakfast area & majority of staff were super friendly & helpful. The pool area was lovely & the staff managing it were particularly helpful & friendly.

The rooms weren’t sufficiently soundproofed & we could hear people in the next room talking although to be fair they were talking loudly & for long periods. The doors to the rooms need softer closing mechanisms as every time a door closed to one of the neighbouring rooms to ours, it was extremely loud, not helped by the people in the room next door to us opening & closing their door repeatedly. The music in the pool / gym area was far too loud & completely unnecessary. The changing area for the pool / gym was tired looking.
