We booked the room with a queen bed which was very comfortable. It had an excellent climate-control system and the room was well appointed for our needs. Our room was attended to daily in a professional manner. The staff paid particular attention to cleanliness as the room was pleasant and fresh whenever we returned for the evening. Regarding location, this hotel was a short walking distance from our son’s apartment and it was easy to get a cab for our various excursions. Front desk staff were attentive and FRIENDLY. The restaurant had a good menu and we enjoyed the overall atmosphere.

I cannot think of any negatives for our 7-day stay

Nice view, fast and easy check in and check out and staff were friendly. Good sized room that was nice and clean, bed and pillows were super comfy. I was right next to the elevators and ice machine but the hallway traffic was never too loud. Good location in the city close to a lot of amenities, good amount of parking available

Hotel is located near a hospital so you may hear sirens throughout the day, it did not bother me too much. All plug sockets in the room seemed to be VERY loose and there were multiple times my electronics/chargers would simply just fall out of the wall

I understand that many hotels do not use bleach products anymore. Especially on the bedding. That seems to make a person smell the previous person's odors, especially the pillow cases. The air conditioner had an unpleasant smell. Other than those 2 things, it was a great stay.

We only stayed one night. We arrived very early after leaving a cruise ship arriving about 09:30. The staff was very helpful and stored our luggage for us. We made the decision to stay in the lobby until our room was ready. Staff had told us it would be 1:30pm which was early to the 3:00pm check in. To our surprise and amazement, they had our room ready at 11:30. WOW! It was a large room with a beautiful view. The staff had someone bring up our luggage. A very nice plus. We ate lunch and dinner in the restaurant. The food was really good. We had a French dip. And for dinner we had a mixed salad with an appetizer (ribs) and Mississippi Mud Pie for dessert. OMG! Yum! The restaurant staff both times were great. Very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend its convenient and the service and food was fantastic. We left early the next morning and the staff booked us a cab the day before. The cab arrived early and got to the airport in plenty of time.

Great location with a lovely walk down to Grandville Island! Restaurants nearby, easy access to the airport, ferries, path around harbour. Room was clean and bright

carpeting was a bit dirty in traffic areas, noisy between rooms, in hallway at times ( we had doors between rooms on both sides where most of the noise got through)

I loved the location! It is central to everything. The room was fantastic and they upgraded us to a balcony which we used for most of the day. The view was incredible! The staff were so welcoming and friendly as well. Will definitely stay here on our return trip in the spring.

There was no microwave in the room.

Liked the secured elevator - you needed a hotel room key card to access the floor. Liked that the room window opened to get some fresh air. Liked the harbour view. Appreciated the room's little fridge.

All the tv channels seemed to offer mostly non-English language news. Strange.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room-cleaning was exceptional and housekeeping needs to be congratulated for this! The breakfast buffet was very adequate. At first I was concerned at the location as I had expected a downtown hotel. However, it ended up being an ideal location, surrounded by many eateries, stores, supermarkets, near the Metro to downtown, and a wonderful waterfront walkway, which led to Granville Island and beyond. I would definitely recommend the location as it gave me more personal choice and independence.

The hotel has huge potential but it is "tired" and in need of renovation. I was a bit shocked when I saw the reception area with a plastic-covered ledge, and some very used and unattractive armchairs in the lounge space. The elevators can take ages to come, which is very frustrating. The hot water for the tea at the buffet definitely needs to be hotter as it soon cools down in the teapots. I gave up drinking tea for breakfast and made it in the room where there was a kettle.

Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and with a corner room we had a very quiet stay. The included breakfast was typical for most chain hotels however the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Great location for attending events downtown whilst also being far enough removed for traveling with a vehicle. Nice secure parking at a cost.

Breakfast buffet is only mediocre at best, and as expensive as going out for a better breakfast elsewhere. Recommend skipping unless you want unlimited food.
