Great location, lots of shops and food only two blocks in any direction. The size of the room was extremely comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. Proximity to the Canada line (airport train) was fantastic too - although, we didn't realise quite how steep the area was. It was rough going uphill with our cases, but very easy to go back down when we left.

It was a little bit strange to not really ever see someone at the front desk - but that being said, they were extremely prompt in their replies when communicating via the doorbell and via the booking.com app, which made everything very easy. There also wasn't quite enough space at breakfast if all guests descended at once. But this wasn't major, we just had to make friends with other guests!

Great location, in a nice quiet neighborhood but close to tons of great bars and restaurants. Beautiful old building - cute, quaint, and unique. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was a very nice touch. Staff was super friendly. Check-in and check-out was a breeze.

The room was very small but comfy. Shared bathrooms were one per floor for 4 rooms - but I never had a problem with them being occupied. We visited in December and the heat was blasting - it was comfortable during the day, but there was no thermostat in the room. I asked the staff to turn the heat down in our room, but they never did, and it was a little uncomfortable while sleeping.

We arrived late and were able to check in easily with a key pad. Our room was in the cottage behind the house and had wonderful space and a veranda as well as a lounge and kitchen area available. The shower was excellent as was the coffee machine in our room. The breakfasts were delicious and healthy. It was nice to sit out on the veranda.

We stayed five days and were surprised nobody refreshed our room supplies of tea and coffee pods. We got more from the breakfast staff instead. In the early morning somebody was running water above our room for several hours. This might have been a laundry or a shower unit but the timing was poor at 6am.

We had a very nice stay at the Windsor Guest House in Vancouver. The location is perfect, just near Broadway City Hall Metro Station, very easy to reach from Vancouver International Airport and 3-4 stops from Vancouver Downtown. More than that, the staff was superfriendly, both the one that has welcomed us in as well as the breakfast staff. The breakfast is a nice moment also to exchange ideas and experiences with the other guests. It's definitely the best choice for us in Vancouver, and we recommend it.

Close to Broadway City Hall Skytrain station (CanadaLine). Downtown Vancouver in 10 minutes. Nice quiet location. Very friendly staff who sorted out an issue we had with the bathroom in a fast professional manner. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choices. Nice weather during our stay so we enjoyed our breakfasts outside on the veranda. The room had all facilities one would need for a short stay. We would definitely return when we next visit Vancouver. A big bonus for my Filipina wife was there is a Jollibee very close by.

Nothing not to like

Very nice room, size perfectly adequate for one person. Shared bathroom with just one other room was clean and well serviced. Breakfast room was pleasant and good choices for the included breakfast. Distance to train station was very good and the neighbourhood was very pleasant with nearby shops. I would definitely stay again if in Vancouver.

There was no jug supplied in my room, just a coffee maker and coffee pods. I do not drink coffee. I feel only providing this does not cater to all guests. I arrived after 9pm at night and just wanted to boil a jug. I checked breakfast room and lounge area but could not find one. No one was on hand - self checkin. A fellow guest had one and offered to loan it to me. The next day I asked my breakfast host if I could have one for me room. This was supplied immediately but unfortunately did not work later that night when I tried to use it. I gave up after that.

Staff on site were fantastic. Jose and Carole so responsive and helpful. They seemed to really care and go out of their way to solve any issue I had. Thoroughly enjoyed the omelette brekkie Carole made. Very close to where I needed to be. Such a beautiful old home.

As an older person I struggled a little with my luggage and the stairs. I arrived about 4.30pm and with no-one around, as expected by the correspondence, it was quite challenging for me. I didn't think on that score! Also on arrival my room was freezing. It didn't really warm up til next morning. 2nd night it was beautifully heated. That's all.

I loved everything about Windsor GH. The location is perfect, a beautiful quiet street, but a 5 min walk to the underground and about 30 min walk right to the heart of Vancouver. Our room was much bigger than expected and had a balcony. The free breakfast in the morning was perfect every time, simple but amazing and cooked by the lovely Mariano who welcomed us into the kitchen and gave us recommendations for our trip.

The room was very clean and comfortable and charming. The bathroom, although shared was immaculate. The location was very easy to walk to Vancouver General Hospital and all the research facilities around it. A very safe neignborhood. I wil definitely stay there again in the future. Unfortunately I can not comment on the breakfast since I had to leave early for an appointment.

There was nothing to dislike- it was a great guest house!

The room that we stayed in was located behind the main house where breakfast is served. It was immaculately clean, the bath appeared to be recently remodeled and beds comfortable.

Check in is via telephone. There is no staff on site except for breakfast service in the morning. The building our room was in had a shared kitchen and living room area. Bedrooms were upstairs with a bathroom in each of the 3 bedrooms. It was like sharing a house with strangers.
