I was greeted by staff, even I could access by code. I was help to find my room and deliver the baggage.all questions were addressed. The bed and clean bedding, kitchenet tools, refrigerator, appliances in oerfec5 modern condition. The most important quietness in steps to downtown, trolley bus around the owner, supermarket, and many restraints, veggie and fruits market, and many more what you need to feel home. Just next building is Dollarama - kind of mall where you even can find chiropractor and dentists, hopefully you didn’t needed. I just bought there grocery:)

I didn’t get that I was charged sooner, before deadline for cancelation policy as security payment, and after that I was not able to change a credit card. Otherwise, I would use other card for payment which not take fee and % conversion from $US to $Can, not the card I put when booked a room. But it’s not hotel’s fault. I just overlooked it.

The location was great! Just a couple of blocks from Stanley Park. Close to Denman Street with lots of shops and restaurants. Close to Sunset Beach and the sea wall. Beautiful neighborhood all around. We had a studio, which was large enough for two and had a small terrace facing a roof garden. There was a well-fitted kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and even a dishwasher. We did not use it much, as we were visiting family nearby, but it was great to be able to make some coffee in the morning.

This hotel has no real staff contact under normal conditions. That is fine with me. There are extra towels, bath essentials, etc. available in the lobby. Room cleaning and other services are available at an extra cost. One enters by way of a code. One issue was that our luggage was delayed, and it was a little cumbersome to try to arrange for someone to receive the luggage when it was delivered, so we had to either wait there or be close by. It turns out that there is someone around who can do this, but it took a while to make direct contact. It would be good for them to give us a direct phone number to call in such cases, rather than go through the website to someone in the Philippines.

The location was great in the West End. It was convenient that the building was on the same block as a Shoppers, 7-eleven, liquor store and a cute taiwanese restaurant in the mall attached to the ground floor. Stanley park and the waterfront harbour were a 5-10 min walk. The Sonder app is also super useful for questions, you can chat with their concierge pretty much 24/7.

We stayed for 6 nights and didn't realize there wasn't a laundry in the facilities when booking, the staff just referred me to a laundromat 15 mins away with pick-up service. There was no oven in the kitchenette even though a baking tray was provided. There were also no coat hooks in the entrance, which feels crucial in a city where it rains all the time, only had a dresser to hang clothes. There is no lock box in the room and when we messaged the staff about some missing items, they were really kind, but ultimately told me that I was the only person with our "access code" and that nobody else was authorized to enter the room.

The location of Sonder Revival is superb for getting around the vibrance of the West End, CBD shopping and the tranquility of Stanley Park. It's so easy to catch a bus from a 1 minute walk away to take you into town or connecting transport. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Our 1 room apartment had no way of keeping the light out. There are blinds, but they have gaps on the ends, and being on the front corner of the building we had the building lights on all night. Other apartments would not have been so exposed, so it was just a bit of bad luck. Eyemasks did the trick, but it would have been good to not have to.

Our room had everything one could need. A firm-yet super comfy bed, the best pillows, a well appointed kitchenette with full sized fridge and freezer, a beautiful garden patio and a lot of light. It was quiet and clean and modern and the common areas like the main floor lobby were inclusive and comfortable and just had a really great vibe over all. I've stayed in at least 15 different hotels in Vancouver and this is by far my favorite. It is close to the beach, countless restaurants and shopping, nightlife, groceries, personal services etc. 5 stars all the way. I don't typically write reviews but I have to say that I was impressed. There is a small mall attached with a grocery and drug store, and other small shops, as well as the parkade, which made our stay so easy and comfortable. I reached out to the Sonder team when I had questions and received a reply in under 5 minutes. We will stay here from now on each time we visit Vancouver.

We loved the location, we thought we’d have a hard time with the app based check in, but it was really easy. The place is spacious and our room was quiet. The bed extremely comfy and kitchen are very well equipped. A mall under the building has no frills and shoppers DM. I liked being able to use the essentials cupboard for extra towels, Coffee etc. The response via the Sonder app is impressive.

There were no plug points right by the bed and phone charger didn’t reach to night table from closest plug. The patio could have been cleaner, tables had rings on it from previous guests and was dusty and bird poop.

Excellent location, excellent room. Easy to check in, the app is nice and simple to operate. There is a nice luggage storage area and lounge if one needs to wait until check-in time. There are LOTS of restaurants and cafes very close by; public transportation easily accessible, bike rental, etc. Easy to get to the seawall, Stanley park, etc. No real need to have a car if you plan to visit the 'downtown' core (or even take a bus to Whistler!).

It would have been great if they could offer a little more flexibility (30min-1h) check-in/check-out. Communication via app ended up sending me canned answers which I am not entirely sure if it was a person responding or automated.

The hotel itself was very clean and tidy. In general the quality of the rooms exceeded expectations. The rooms included cooking facilities if you wanted to organise your own dinners. The hotel was close to the beach, restaurants and some general shops (7/11 and fruit market). We were in a room right next to the street and didn't hear too much noise from outside. Once you were used to how the system worked in the hotel it was very easy to get around.

It wasn't clear which door to enter in which is only an issue because this hotel doesn't have a front desk. I think the signage to the correct door needs to be bigger and clearer. It was a little discombobulating that quite a few people hung out at the alcohol store on the corner of the road so we didn't feel entirely safe because of this however in general it was fine walking around during the day.

Super easy to check in. Just need to check your code + room number on the app and you're good to go. We had no issues with this. Our room included full cooking facilities so we were able to save some money on food (which was great as we stayed for a week). The essentials cabinet was great for a basic restock such as coffee/tea, towels and toilet paper. The room was super clean and spacious, including a big tv great for unwinding after a long day. We had an awesome stay, very quiet environment however the walls are a little thin so bare in mind. (Dispite this we didnt notice the neighbors much). We only had a troubling neighbors on our last night however was able to inform the 24 hour staff through the app whom managed to shut it down within 5 minutes. Thankfully we managed to catch some sleep before check out. 11 am check out, but free luggage storage which is super appreciated. Over all our stay was super easy and very comfortable. The 24 hour staff are easy to reach and reply within minutes on the sonder app. We highly recommend staying here and we will definietly use sonder again! :))

It had a small private patio with a table and seating, with a garden and trees outlook. This was very relaxing. The facilities were excellent for everything we needed. The room was fairly spacious, with everything we needed in the kitchenette, to make our stay relaxing and easy. Communication was excellent.

There were no instructions on how to access the walking path through the rooftop garden. The ventilation duct from the shops below could be a bit noisy and could maybe be screened to reduce the noise.
