This was our first visit to Ottawa and the hotel is in a good location to access all the city has to offer. All the main attractions were a pretty easy 15 to 20 minute walk away and we quite liked the quieter nature of the area we were staying. Room was really large with good a/c, a kitchen, fridge freezer etc. We had a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs and we did eat there on a couple of occasions and we thought it was good food at a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good quality with lots of choice although inevitably it could get a bit busy at peak times. Overall the hotel was very clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again.

Room wasn't cleaned as often as we expected during our eight day stay and the bed linen was not changed at all but these are very minor quibbles and did not detract from our overall stay.

The staff were very friendly and recognised us as repeat guests. It was good that decaffeinated coffee and tea was readily available. Pastries and baked goods provided were tasty Dinner in the bar was very good, service excellent and staff super friendly and customer orientated. Hotel room was excellent for someone requiring assistance. The pool and laundry facilities were an added benefit for length of our stay. All the staff could not have done more to assist with our stay.

We had the buffet although we were not aware that there was an ala carte menu which would have been nice. Would have liked more choice on hot buffet and overall more continental style options with cheese, cold meats would have made it a better experience. More choice of coffees would have been an added benefit.

Walking distance to everything. Nice rooms. Pet friendly. Clean!

1. The pool water was very cold. 2. Buffet breakfast - waffle maker station and more specifically the batter dispenser clogs and takes forever to get the batter in the cup to make a waffle. Waffles are a great option to have but please find a way to dispense the batter in more efficient way to avoid the long lines of frustrated people forming in front of the station.

Lovely large pool…. Our children loved it. Nice large comfortable breakfast room with whole fruit as well as cut melons every day. There are wonderful croissants and real boiled eggs on the buffet. Loved assorted teas. Coffee tasted great and we could choose cream or milk. The front staff were courteous and helpful . This hotel had a modern appearance and was clean. The restaurant is on site and does provide room service. Nice spacious waiting area. Spacious suite with microwave, hotplate, pots, Keurig, dishes and full size fridge.

Room was large and clean. Bedroom and Separate living area with pull out bed was great for the third person. Breakfast included was a nice bonus. Parking was convenient once we were told where it was and how to access iit Hotel location worked out well.

Upon arrival it was not clear where the parking was for the hotel or what guests had to do to access it. No place to leave car while we inquired. Only suggestion would be to have an outlet in the toilet area so a night light could be used Elevators were very busy so a bit of a wait at certain times to access room.

Very large rooms with good kitchen equipment. Nice river views from high rooms. Very close to the metro station and easy walking distance from downtown shops, restaurants and attractions.

Breakfast was very basic, with no guarantee that fruit salad, for example, would be available each day. It also took a long to be seated, even at quiet times, due to lack of available staff. Hot items only good when freshly restocked. Elevators took a long time to come to your floor at busy times.

Super location, close to Canada Day Festivities. Comfy beds and bedding. Love the shower concept: shower control on opposite wall of shower head. Awesome pool area and large lobby. Love the late checkout at noon. Ye for the Hilton Standards, you can't go wrong.

Stressful to park a truck. Hotel underground parking do not fit bigger vehicle. All street around the hotel were closed for Canada Day, not the Hotel fault. Worked well at the end with private exterior parking more expensive than we planned. Breakfast staff was slow to reset tables for next sitting producing an unnecessary backlog. Selves serve coffee dispenser at breakfast buffet constantly empty. Staff were going around with coffee jugs instead, delivering us with a 0$ invoice expecting Tip charged to the room. Very unexpected. 1rst time for me at a Breakfast included hotel deal.

The front desk staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. The pool was good for our toddler. The kitchenette was nice as well. The O train, when working, is nearby and convenient.

It was not possible to open windows to ventilate the room. I understand that this is probably due to safety concerns. The breakfast buffet was fine but each day the wait staff would provide us with the $0 bill, presumably to receive a tip. I found this awkward because usually we didn't expect or receive help serving ourselves.

The size of the room was amazing. We were traveling with our 4 year old son, and he had a lot of room to play. The view was spectacular. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast time was very organized and efficient. Lots of variety in breakfast options. The pool was wonderful as well. Lots of seats to choose from for lounging while my son swam with his father.

After our cleaning service the second day, our counters in the kitchenette were not cleaned up. The dishwasher was not emptied out. Very minor concerns. Hardly a problem.

- The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. - The pool facility was very good. - The laundry facility was good (I needed to add a detergent dispenser; fortunately, I had my own). - The staff were kind, courteous, and helpful.

- The wifi was slow, and attempting to charge for faster speed is ridiculous. I travel globally, and only in Canada do I encounter charging more money for faster internet. Please reconsider this flawed policy. - The breakfast was awful. It's not a good experience eating pre-frozen fare that's heated up. - Highly processed pastries and muffins that I passed on. - Pre-bagged cut melon pieces that were outdated and kind of slimy - Coffee tasted like it was instant - Having waiters for a self-serve breakfast format was okay, but then giving me a bill that says "complementary" (it was pre-paid) and begging for a tip seems off. I am happy to tip the staff - just not in this way.
