Location was just across from the Shoe Museum and down the street from Royal Ontario Museum and the Ceramics Museum. There was a subway stop in half a block making it easy to get around the city by mass transit. The hotel provided coffee, chilled fruit flavored water, and wine in the lobby. We went to a food market and bought a bunch of cheeses to try, and needed a picnic blanket. The hotel loaned us one! Very nice staff!

The bar was not great. It was noisy and the bartender ignored us. We decided to meet in the lobby instead.

Spacious rooms, clean, good location, pet friendly

Were told parking on site when we got there only valet at $45 per day. One man kindly refunded this for us. However, when the car was returned, petrol had been used and mileage up as well as passenger seat moved. Told it was being looked into but never given a final verdict. Also concerning valet not employed by hotel and a third party. We also requested extra cat litter brought up and got a passive aggressive note stating they expect us to clear up after our own cats. This is fine and what we were expecting to do, but could not do without the litter, hence the request for extra litter

- I enjoyed that the location was central enough to be a 20 min cab from downtown and Yorkdale mall equally. - The gym was small but had plenty of equipment and the 3x I went there was no more than 1 other person. - The restaurant/bar in the lobby was great! Good food options for breakfast/lunch/dinner. In the evenings there is live music some days, Saturdays a DJ spins 90s/2000s hits. Really fun time. - Wine happy hour/tasting every day from 5-6. Good opportunity to meet other guests.

- Although students were on break, I think, there is a university nearby and a college bar too. - Apparently not all rooms are of the same size even if they're the same classification. My friend was in the same type of room as me and said it was noticeably bigger than mine.

We had breakfast at the Fortunate Fox restaurant attached to the Hotel. It was great. Had very tasty sounding items. I personally don't usually do breakfast so I ordered coffee and their smoothie (berries and almond milk). This smoothie was INCREDIBLE! I don't know what it is, light and fresh, filling but not too creamy; perfect ratio of almond milk to fruits and that hint of je-ne-sais-quoi. Anyway it was addictive. It was probably made really simply but boy do I love that. I could only drink about 1/5th and so I took the rest to my room, put it in the fridge and drank it later that evening after a very full evening meal. I also thoroughly enjoyed the incredibly soft sheets on top of the cloud-like topper on this pretty supportive mattress. I have a lower back pain issue so pretty much no mattresses really addresses it but this one came close. My own very expensive mattress at home does much poorer. I loved the feeling of being in this soft and comfortable bed, it was very relaxing. Oh and I also really like David at the front desk in the evenings. Such bright smile and enthusiasm. Made the guest services very approachable. It's also highly appreciated they have full bottles of quality shampoo, conditioner and soap. Finally, I really appreciated their attempt to accommodate my request to have a blood street view. I am highly visual when it comes to space and how light it feels on my psyche and it's great to be able to see the large open street of bloor - albeit at an angle. Thanks for making the effort!

There's just a few things that I think could be better. A pair of slippers would really have completed the experience of lounging around in the bathrobe. They have a number of items that guests can request if needed - while that is nice, there are a few things I wish would come standard. Like kettle and several mugs. I really enjoy tea all season round and having that readily available in the room makes the experience nicer.

Staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. Great location, a nice street and right next to a subway station (connecting station so you can get almost anywhere without changing trains). Hotel also offered morning coffee and tea in the lobby which was a nice bonus.

There wasn't much of a view from the room. Also the room was not completely soundproof. Nothing extreme but I could hear the doors next to me opening and closing. I didn't mind it, but something to consider if you're very noise sensitive.

There is no bidet in the toilets.

I love the feeling of this place. I love the coffee in the morning in the lobby with lots of nice places to sit. I liked the gym. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were the kind of pillows I like - not too big! Also it is in a great location for me when I come to visit my son at U of T.

I have no complaints about my stay.

Good location, next to metro. Decent rooms. Very nice and friendly food-serving pub downstairs.

Reception staff so-so. They lost my booking and took 30 mins to check me in, although made up for it with a room upgrade. Despite staying a week, had to haggle to get a 3 pm check-out. Room furnishings were average, missing cushions, bedside table on only one side of the bed, etc.

This is a state of the art hotel! We stay here every year on our visit to to Toronto. The staff are always one step ahead of you, the location lets you feel the buzz of Toronto life and the design is beautiful but functional. We love this place, it even caters to young families like ours travelling with their little ones.

The location is excellent: across Bloor from the Bata Shoe Museum, and a 2 minute walk from the St George subway station. I also very much appreciated that underground parking was included, and I was extremely impressed with the "welcome gift" for my dog. Actual treats, a toy, and a local business card! I felt welcomed and was happy I chose this hotel.

I wish I could have made coffee in my room, instead of going to the lobby every morning. I was a bit surprised that the room didn't have a kettle or coffee maker.
