I absolutely LOVED staying here! I plan to keep coming back. The lobby smells AMAZING when you walk in, the rooms are unbelievably clean. The dish soap, hand soap, shampoo etc smell soooo luxury! The check in is very easy and smooth, I felt really secure and safe. The staff is absolutely amazing, they were very accommodating. I wanted to stay another night and they helped me very quickly! The location of the hotel is in the most perfect spot, close to a lot of places! It’s also very quiet here! I will be returning asap!!
There isn’t one thing I didn’t like! Stay here!!

Perfect location for us as we wanted to spend time in the old part of the city. The walking tours, shopping and dining were within easy walking distance though being steady on your feet is important due to the cobble stones and ragged condition of curbs etc. Everything seemed brand new. Decor is very industrial and gray with fantastic ambient lighting which really brightened up the space. It was quiet in the room. And it seemed every amenity had been considered.
The entry and hallways are painted a very dark color and the lighting is subdued so it was hard for me to see the access code panels to get into the building and the room. I liked the vibe though so just used the flashlight on my phone when needed. Parking space is at a premium. We were able to use a lot about a half block from the hotel - but the experience was not particularly positive. Cash was required - we only had US$ at that time but they charged the same dollars whether US or Canadian. When we prepared to leave they charged an extra day. Despite this, we would definitely stay at the hotel again - and perhaps find a different spot to park.

The David is very well located. It was centrally located to many of the things we were interested in seeing. The room was spacious and provided everything we needed for our stay.
The check in process could be a little easier, but eventually, it worked. Also, we couldn't figure out how to work the television. We asked several of the staff (on different days) and none of them could figure it out either. Small thing- I would recommend putting the laundry soap near the washing machine. We finally found it in a kitchen drawer after we went out and bought some.

David is very modern and hip in a grey way, (which seems to have been the defining colour of the last 8 years) but perhaps too much grey. The bench seat at the end of the foam-top bed is upholetered in a salmon colour which could have effectively been used as the colour for the curtains to bring a little more liveliness to the atmosphere. The rooms are equipped with high-end appliances including two refrigerator drawers and rwo freezer drawers in each room. The shower stall is 3/4 glassed in and offers a choice of rainfall head or adjustable spray pattern head and good hot water. My only complaint is th at there is no closure for the stall which guarantees a wet floor each time it is used. If you wish to cook, lots of utensils, dishes and gadgets are in supply, but there is no chef's knife. As well, there is a nespresso machine - good - but for a 4 night stay for two, only 4 caffee pods were supplied. Perhaps this is nitpicking, but David, as everyone knows, is not inexpensive. One particularly bright , positive note was sung by Mary, one of the attendant/managers on duty there to address any needs or concerns one might have; unfortunately on weekends there seems to be no-one on duty. All told, David makes a valiant effort at affording something upbeat, yet homey, and mostly succeeds - and the location is superb!

This apartment was HUGE. Great combination of old and modern: Old stone walls, modern appointments.... shower, bathroom, kitchen, bed, TV, washer/dryer, finishes. It was well-located just a short walk from Rue St. Paul with loads of great restaurants and shops. It was also located far enough so there wasn't any street noise. The thick, granite walls helped, too!
The only a few minor complaints, is that the towels were a little thin. There were lots of towels but not too plush. Also, there wasn't a mirror near the sink. It was across the room: not conducive for shaving (men) or makeup (women).

Huge room! Full bed, bath, kitchen & sitting area. Location was good, not in the central old town area but at the west end on old town. Good restaurants within a 3-4 block walk. We didn’t find the Saint Pierre Cafe (1 block away) till the last day there, which is too bad because it is a great place. Quiet neighborhood because it is a little further away from the “touristy” area. Parking lot is 1/2 block away & the parking guys were easy to work with.
Hallways were a little dark, and the entry codes were a little long. Put it in your phone so you don’t forget it.

The well stocked kitchen, with all the utensils necessary to cook a meal. as well as the basics such as olive oil. so it was easy to walk around the corner to the Gourmet Delicatessen to get ingredients with which to cook a meal for ourselves and a couple of friends
Check in was a bit glitchy, we had been on a cruise for the week before arriving with extremely limited wifi, and and similarly through the day, so it was difficult getting the code. thankfully we had friends checking in at the same time, so were able to make contact from their room. Others were still on the street at 3:15 struggling to establish contact.

The apartment was modern, reasonably well appointed and spacious. Great location, walking distance to everything in Old Town and parts of New Town. Bed was large and comfortable.
Apartment design was very 'modern' and practicality and comfort seemed to be lesser considerations to 'design vibe'. Hence always trying to work out lighting, how to comfortably watch TV, coffee cups too small for tea drinkers, handbasin set in middle of room etc etc. The check in and registration procedure is probably the most complicated I have come across in 50 years of travel.

it was easily accessible it was very clean it was secure ..very important in Montréal as many n any city it had literally everything I needed ..so well equipped.. cooking facilities, toiletries, tea coffee..
I locked myself out and left my phone inside on the first day .. so I didn’t have the code to get back in .. thankfully the neighbour’s were in and they called the hotel for me to get the code to get back in. there is no reception so I’m not sure what I would have done if there was nobody else in the building … to be fair the customer service was so efficient and friendly

This place was amazing!! I stayed for work but I wish it had been a longer personal trip based on how amazing the hotel room was. The room had so many additional features that you would get in a standard hotel - washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, whole kitchen island. I loved the lighting too - different zoned lighting that could be turned up and down to create a nice ambiance. It was in such a convenient location too - I was able to walk to my place of work, and walk to Old Montreal very easily. I would 100% stay again and recommend to anyone.
It could have been made clearer on the pre check-in email that the reason for all of the information required was because they didn't have a front desk. I'm not used to completing so much information prior to a check-in.
