The rooms are wonderful. They are very spacious. The hotel would be ranked as a boutique hotel, with its own character and a lovely place to stay for couples and romantic vacations. The hotel offers coffee and sometime some snacks, which are always available at the reception. This is a definitely nice gesture on behalf of the hotel.
the street had construction, which I am guessing it is temporal, so nothing major, but was unfortunate for us, to be there during that time. Some days, the room was not cleaned, but to be honest, when we told the staff, they brought new towels and offered water bottles.

Nice discreet boutique hotel. Very well located with lots of eating options close by. Some of the staff were pleasant and helpful when asked. The rooms were small but nicely appointed.
Hotel did not pre warn of loud, disturbing ongoing street construction and excavation pollution until a couple of days before arrival with info that Taxi could not pull up by hotel. Hotel did also not state at time of booking that they would be taking CAD 300 per room security deposit that won't arrive back into your account for up to 10 days. I am still waiting to receive my refund There is also a problem in the King room as the bed base is larger than the mattress which meant I must have hit my lower leg and shin at least 10 times during a 6 night stay due to there being very little room to manoeuvre around the bed.

Excellent location to enjoy whatever you want to do in Old Montreal. We travelled as 4 couples, ourselves and our 3 kids and their partners. We enjoyed excellent restaurants close by, fun cocktail bars and the Museum of Archeology and History just steps away. The hotel seems to have been very well furnished with modern amenities (wonderful shower head options) but still retaining its old world charm (exposed stone walls in all our rooms). The included continental breakfast was very good, not large but everything was very good quality especially the croissants n the pain au chocolates
Absolutely no complaints.

Our room, bed, in-room amenities and especially the shower were all top notch. The staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful. 24 hour on-demand coffee was definitely a treat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book here again.
Only downside was the street construction going on directly outside the hotel. We were traveling with my elderly parents, it made it very difficult for them to get around. This was no fault of the hotel but it did have a detrimental impact on our Montréal experience.

Breakfast was simple yet delicious and cozy! The hotel is in a good location, and having a boutique convenience store across the street was a bonus. There are many restaurants you can walk to, and the pier and museums are a short walk away.
The room was very pretty. However, you can hear the next-door neighbor word by word. The bed in our room was not even, so my husband complained that he felt like he was falling all night. There was a light indicator for housekeeping, but when we pressed the button to request cleaning, nobody showed up for the day. However, the housekeeping members are very friendly. PS: I was not a big fan of shampoo and conditioner fragrances.

Its location is ideal for easy walking distance to most attractions and is surrounded by restaurants and cafes. As the building has obviously been converted into a hotel, like most boutique hotels the rooms are smaller than most new hotels however it was very comfortable. A huge bed that I thought I would have to take a taxi to find my wife on the other side and wow what a shower, the best we’ve ever had on all of our trips. Staff were brilliant and worked really hard and breakfast was okay if a limited choice.
Perhaps we were not listening properly when we checked in, it had been a very long day travelling from Scotland, but we did not know that we needed to ask for housekeeping on a daily basis for the room. It wasn’t too much of a hassle but it was annoying to have wet towels with no way to dry them. At £250 per night it could have been communicated better. Also tv was very limited to a few channels and did not allow for streaming through apps

The property was fabulous
I understood they had parking. They do not. When I called them saying we were having a hard time finding the hotel (because of road construction) she said there was a parking spot in front of the hotel. By the time we made it to the hotel there was no street parking, so we found a lot, paid and parked. Upon checking in we were informed they did not recommend we park in an open lot. That information along with parking recommendations would have been nice to have in advance of our arrival. We had no problem with the open lot parking.

this is a great little hotel, with nice rooms and a good breakfast. The location is great for visiting the old town and as a basis for anywhere in Montreal.
However, this location is so central that it can also be very noisy at night, particularly towards the end of the week. On Thursday and Friday nights we had several groups of very drunk people singing and shouting really late, some of them past 3 am... I would ask for a room not on the main street next time..

Nice comfortable spacious rooms.
Breakfast was poor. All pastries had gone by 9am - despite breakfast stated from 8am - 10am. When asked if they would be replenished, we were told we should have been down earlier and that they couldn’t control how much other guests ate!!! having travelled a distance the day before a 9am breakfast didn’t seem too late and if breakfast is advertised until 10am there should be enough provision until then in my opinion.

Staff were very good.
Breakfast room is very crowded. You are almost elbow to elbow with people at next small table. No fresh cut up fruit. At 830 one morning only 2 slices of cheese left. One day there was no yogurt. At this time Rue Saint Paul is undergoing major construction. Some days noise started at 7 am. Great wake up ( not). You had to meet Uber a block away.
