Located in Old Montreal by the Port, this hotel is close to many restaurants and bars. The staff are very accommodating and professional. We had a small suite which came with a very large bathroom that had a separate bathtub and large shower. Overall our stay was very good and we would stay here again

Breakfast was included in the package we chose and was a bit disappointing: no croissants or viennoiserie at all, limited choices for the included package and even the extra add-on possibilities were a bit meh. The espresso drinks were from a commercial Nespresso machine and should have tasted much better.

An incredible staff went to a lot of trouble to see if we they could find us a room with 2 beds. Although nothing was available, we laughed when we opened our door because the room was huge and much more than we could have expected. Great location to walk through the older part of the city.

The google map driving directions were not accurate, so it was a bit difficult to find. The signage for the hotel is not very clear. Once we reached the correct street, we stopped in the middle of the one-way street to look around and the valet run out to greet us, so we found it by accident.

Outside of the beautiful hotel/ location, we loved the people who manage the property! Incredibly helpful & thoughtful. From the check in through the wonderful staff throughout, including the GM himself. They took great care of our family during our Christmas visit. Thank you!

Very little not to like. Our only feedback is that the lobby, public space can be redesigned and better utilized. The space is segmented, with a small seating area next to the fireplace. Could they open it up and create a more inviting atmosphere with bar, lounge etc?

Great location in Old Montreal right around the corner from Notre Dame Cathedral. It was very convenient with valet parking and just a 5-minute walk to the closest metro station. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our room had been upgraded to a suite which was a nice bonus, and our room(s) were very clean and comfortable. The lobby smelled so good, too, that I even bought some of the fragrance to take home!

There was a nice outdoor courtyard in the back of the hotel for the restaurant, but we would have enjoyed having access to it outside of the restaurant hours as we were looking for a place to sit outside and enjoy a bottle of wine in the late afternoon.

-Location. It really is at The heart of Old Montreal, steps way from the Notre Dame Basilica. -Our room was in the first floor, very spacious. The sofa bed is uncomfortable but great for kids. Our daughter had no complaints. -The shower does need a door, a big puddle can be made if not carefull. It's big though and it has a tub too. -Im glad we got the breakfast included. It was delicious!! Get the velvet waffles. Be aware you will be charged fees and taxes for using the restaurant even if included in the stay. -Very comfortable and it seems like recently updated! The staff was very nice and helpful.

The extra fees for the use of the restaurant, the parking is very expensive $45 plus tax per day. The bathroom shower needs a door. The sofa bed is uncomfortable.

Lovely staff, very helpful. Wonderful room in a quiet area of the hotel, especially considering lots of road work around. Excellent location, walking distance to many sights and restaurants. Lovely bathroom products too. Overall, a charming boutique hotel.

The fact that the restaurant was only open on the weekend was quite surprising, (my fault for not reading that fact on the website). The breakfast was adequate but service very slow, due to lack of staff it would appear. A breakfast buffet would be a more practical way to handle this. Also, even though the restaurant was closed, at a minimum the bar area could be open during the day for guests to enjoy a beverage or light snack. A real surprise for a hotel of this caliber and price.

Our room was lovely--spacious and comfortable.

We couldn't get into our rooms until 4:30 or so, we think because they were trying to give us two rooms on the same floor--we wish we had been given an alternative rather than sitting around waiting for the rooms to be ready--and this was in the middle of the week. Also, the breakfast, which we paid for, was not good--it took too long to get it and some of the dishes were not hot. Clearly they have a staffing issue in the morning. And, the lovely bar and patio, even in the height of the summer when we were there, was only open Thurs-Sun, which was a big disappointment. We might have booked for different nights had we known this.

Location is amazing! It’s mere steps from Notre Dame Basilica and the square across from it has live music and other performers afternoon and evening. The hotel is surrounded by cobblestone streets with a multitude of quaint shops and delicious restaurants. The hotel is safe and clean, room is spacious and newly renovated, staff are very friendly and helpful, restaurant is delicious, four options freshly cooked to your preference, with generous portions (breakfast is pricy but if you get it as part of the packages it’s well worth it). It is one of the few hotels with valet underground parking. Once you see parking in Montreal, you’ll see what an amazing bonus this is. Well worth $43 per day.

It’s a bit tricky to drive to with all of the construction. The street it’s on also shows as closed at one end (but open enough for a car to get through) and it’s dug out at the other end. You drive in on the corner by Notre Dame Basilica. Call the hotel first if driving to get the most updated road access details.

Staff especially concierge to valet were always friendly and personable, they made us feel welcome and like friends. Americans dont know graciousness anymore, and if they do, you could see it equated with a $$ sign. This we should learn from our neighbors. They value maintenance of their hardware, the furniture from the bedroom to the restaurant appeared in excellent shape, plush cushions, fabric not showing any signs of wear. Bath and coffee/tea supplies always replenished.

I am not a proponent of QR code use. Fortunately I could always ask a human to help me and they did this superbly.

Pricey hotel but superb location meant popping back to the hotel between tourist sites was easy. Reception staff, concierge service and valets all very helpful and courteous. Room was spacious with lots of amenities. Best shower of our trip!

Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. Limited choice and table service (as opposed to buffet) meant you couldn't choose all you wanted. Bar was very quiet in the evening so was not enticing pre- or post-dinner out. So many roadworks in the centre of town meant accessing the hotel in a car was a bit of a nightmare but got there in the end!
