Sonder Apollon is a great place in an old building completely renovated. The location in Old Montreal is great too. The cleaning staff in the kitchen/living room area had missed a few spots but we received complimentary cleaning. Kitchen was adequately equipped. Beds were super comfortable. The apartments have very nice furniture and big windows.
This is a brand new place and a few things need to be adapted. The staff is super nice and helpful but very junior. The gym and sauna are not well-equipped: there is no treadmill (which is important to know when you visit in the winter season), no changing room and no place to leave a bag or clothes. Since there are no towels or bathrobes to go to the sauna, it is not really possible to enjoy it unless you take the elevators in your bathing suit. This should be improved for a better customer experience.

The roof top terrace
The hot tub was dirty, and there was a lack of towels at the gym/ pool sauna multiple times. We stayed for 6 nights and no room cleaning services were available at this location. These are all tiny things I noticed overall we had an amazing stay.

This accommodation was hands down one of the chillest and most comfy places I’ve stayed at. Amazing location, great facilities. Got a spacious apartment that felt just like home, good bed and bathroom, dishwasher and the washer/dryer combination was also very useful. Loved the fact that it wasn’t like a hotel, and the no housekeeping thing didn’t even bother us at all! Could always get extra towels or other amenities at the desk. I would book here again if I were to ever visit Montreal in the future! Also kudos to staff as we were running late due to car trouble and they assured us that the booking would be fine and remained active, which definitely helped us ease our worries during a stressful moment and made us very relieved. Tip to potentional guests, be careful with leaving the car at the entrance to drop off bags, as we got a parking ticket of 93 cad for the 5 mins we parked there. For cheap underground parking (especially when freezing -10 like it did during our trip) go to 500 places du armes (underground parking at a bank building on 5 mins walking)
There wasn’t any points of improvement!

Check-in was very easy and simple to follow if you download the Sonder app. The room was clean and tidy along with being as pictured. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were good for a 3 night stay. Good location on the outskirts of Old Montreal. If you're not spending a lot of time in the hotel this is a great spot. It's exactly what you need.
Not the hotels fault - construction next door if you are along the backside of the building. Note you are also close to a pub where people can be quite loud after leaving. This could wake you up in the middle of the night. We were fine with it and this would not deter us from booking here again. An extra hook for towels would be nice (again, not a deal breaker).

The apartment was pristine upon arrival, and the kitchen was better equipped than my own home. Very silent and the bed was very comfortable. It felt a bit strange to not have my room cleaned on a daily basis but it also felt like having my own place in Montreal. The gym is simply equipped but does the trick, as does the sauna. I will be happily come back!
Some very minor details in the common area were missing, such as the water to pour over the rocks in the sauna, or a timer.

The location was very convenient to everything we wanted to see or do in Old Town, including some of the best restaurants in Montreal. We visited during a very cold period and the streets and sidewalks were dangerously icy, so we could not explore as much as we would have liked, but our apartment at Sonder was warm and comfortable. The subway was just a few blocks away. The kitchen was really well equipped and the beds and bed linens were extremely comfortable. The free wifi was very good. And the price for all this was very affordable.
Frankly, the only improvement would be some extra towel hooks in our very large bathroom and more space on which to leave our cosmetics, hair brushes, etc.

The facilities and location exceeded expectations -- and I will definitely use Sonder again! My only concern was that the adapted site meant that the windows were not well insulated. While I don't mind a cooler room (and the climate control was very flexible), the noise from early morning revellers over the weekend was frustrating. Sonder did provide earplugs and a sound machine but it still wasn't sufficient to block the noise. Notwithstanding it was a very small price to pay for what was made available and the overall excellent quality!
Better sound/thermal insulation of the windows. See above

The facilities, the convenience of location and how intuitive were all the services
I like all about the property. However it appears that the check in times are being pushed to later hours and it is unfair that we have to pay extra to get in the facilities at the conventional time. I also had a problem with getting a code at the last minute due to validation of documents that wasn’t completed on time because I booked a subsequent property in another location, for an upcoming trip in the US, complete nonsense. Had us waiting and pulling documents in the dark. When had my documents submitted and approved weeks ago, I completely understand the commitment to security but this was not about that commitment it was about disconnect.

This was an amazing place. Central, easy to use, clean, very comfortable, with everything you need the staff was AMAZING. HOWEVER: the smaller units (which I had at first booked), are much smaller and claustrophobic than the photos let on. I would highly recommend you insist on a bed with a window otherwise they will put you in a small box of a room with basically no window. When I upgraded for a price, the unit was AWESOME. I highly recommend this place, just make sure you know what you are getting.
The claustrophobic room which I quickly vacated

This was the perfect property for our stay in Montreal! The property is perfectly situated near fantastic restaurants and nearby attractions while still being quiet and not crowded. High ceilings made the space seem even larger. Loved the setup of the room and that we had everything needed for a kitchen area as well as the washer and dryer - going home with a suitcase full of clean clothes was great! The terrace has great views of the downtown and Old Montreal. We would stay here again!
Everything was great, but our room was next to the service closet so there was often the housekeeping cart right next to our room. Not a big deal of course.
