I can’t say enough good things about my stay at Honeyrose Hotel! This was my second stay at the hotel,to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday. I was so impressed on my previous stay (1st time at the hotel,celebrating wedding anniversary with my husband) that I decided to come back -and I was NOT disappointed. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our experience unforgettable (special thank you to Juliette and Matthias). I brought balloons in the morning and the staff was kind enough to take them up to our room before checking in with my sister.It was a nice surprise when she got to the room (staff also left a birthday card with a sweet note and a gift, which was not expected and soo thoughtful, thank you soo much) The room was perfect – spotless, stylish, and the bed was heavenly.We really appreciated the views from the windows ,as they were able to accommodate my request for a corner room. They have an indoor pool, a hot tub,gym and sauna which were immaculate. We made good use of the pool,hot tub and sauna, which was very relaxing. The on-site dining was another highlight: we had diner: great food and the service from Alice our waitress was impeccable. This was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you to everyone at Honeyrose hotel for going above and beyond. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Nothing!However a suggestion would be to add spa services like massages..This would be the cherry on the cake!

This is a late review. We stayed in this hotel in May 2024 for a pre-mother's day staycation. Great location in the heart of downtown. Everything you need is close ! I love everything about this hotel ! From the cozy and chic lobby to the lovely room and the pool ! It is so so pretty and clean 😊 i highly recommend a suite to have full appreciation of the chic decor. The bed is very nice comfortable. The bathroom is so pretty as well. I love the color theme ! The rooftop pool is top notch, one of the most beautiful pool I've been to. The sauna and hot tub are amazing plus ! We didn't use the gym but it looks great. Me and my family enjoyed our stay

Nothing to complain about ! Im inlove with this hotel. I booked a suite and they gave me one with a living room as expected but I saw some rooms that have dining room, separated from the living room and I wish I had those. I cannot find the specification of this here in bookings.com. That would be interesting to know as I plan to come back !

Very stylish, new, beautiful interior. The room was very spacious and gorgeous. Facilities clean, modern and very comfortable. The lobby is also beautiful, and the pool and jacuzzi very nice.

Not having bathtub in the room. They said only one room has it and one needs to book that with a special request but how would one know about that? Also, the way the personnel closed the pool floor at 11pm was a little brutish and not very nice. We got kicked out with a grunt. Parking is paid - I’d think that a hotel guest could have free parking on the premises. Not against paying but that would be a nice perk.

Excellent location, nice helpful staff , really clean rooms and nice decoration .

Bed's mattress was really uncomfortable resulted very bad back pain for me and not a good sleep . We booked family room with two queen beds which I guess was smaller than queen size . Very small restaurant with limited choices specially if you are traveling with your kids or have food restrictions , Any way we had breakfast once with very short choices which was delicious and the quality of the food was good . We used swimming pool and some guests entered to pool area with their outside sneakers and cloths which is not hygiene and no body was in charge at the spa area. They also charged separately for using hotel’s parking lot and it was not told to us at check-in. No sleepers in the room .

Very pleasant, fresh, new super-modern hotel

The bathroom is designed for visual effect, not function. There is no ventilation in the toilet chamber or shower, and lighting around the mirror area for grooming is very poor. Also, electric outlets are scarce and not located for convenient use with electronic devices. Restaurant menu is good but not excellent. Service is slow. A breakfast buffet like hotels in Europe have would be much better.

Our room wasn’t cleaned and made up after the first night. The reception said it was a mistake and they apologize for that. The internet wifi connection was confused. Another down point: they didn’t have a breakfast buffet option, which can be very upsetting, specially when you are traveling with children and want a quick and easy breakfast. Finally, the room service doesn’t work continuously, and they stop serving from 3:00 pm until 5:00pm, which is horrible for those who want to have a late lunch.

Great hotel. Beautiful small lobby, large, nicely appointed rooms with comfy beds. The location is walkable to most downtown/old town spots but it's in a commercial area, so it's not very lively at night or on weekends. The immediate area also lacks charm, as is common for a commercial area. But the metro is across the street, so it's easy to go anywhere in the city. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The only slight negative are the bathrooms - they are beautiful but lack privacy (if that's important to you). I say "slight" negative, because it's really not bad and as I said, they are beautiful and the shower was great.

New hotel. The room was spacious and all its furnishings were of excellent quality. The gym (which we used) had above-average facilities and equipment compared to other hotel gyms. The pool (which we saw but didn't use) has a lovely setting with a good view. Parking garage is well-wit, most spaces have adequate size and parked cars can be accessed easily from the main hotel elevators. We found staff to be very helpful (notably from a staff member named Ming Ming). We found our room-rate to provide good value considering the quality of the hotel.

Parking at $35 a day was expensive, but that's fairly normal for hotel parking in major cities these days. Note that the parking garage has a fairly low height limit (our car with a roof rack just squeeked under the limit).

I used to live in Montreal. The hotel is well positioned for walking to the key areas a visitor would usually hit. 15-20 mins to the old port, right at the city center...etc. Beautifully designed but not over the top grandeur that's catered to (i feel) young professionals. The bar didnt get too busy when i was there, great ambience. I didnt use the pool but it looked great! Overall loved my stay there and would recommend!

Beautiful decor, attention to detail in room design, especially lighting, storage areas, and washroom layout. The 1920’s theme was well executed throughout with lots of velvet surfaces, retro finishes, and wood cabinetry. The facilities (gym, pool and sauna) and attentive staff were also part of the reason the stay was enjoyable. The bed was comfortable and a nice wooden cot was provided for our toddler to sleep in. The sound proofing was also excellent — we rarely heard anyone else on our floor (hopefully they didn’t hear us, either). Although I wouldn’t judge a hotel on its design alone, the dedication to the brass, green, and pink theme was so consistent that even the exercise rig in the fitness centre is pink.

Room was a bit humid and stuffy. We tried to turn heating down with HVAC controls but temperature would not budge below 23 degrees Celsius. The Lenovo tablet that controlled the room’s lighting did not work for two of the three days we stayed at the hotel. This wasn’t a massive deal, but it was annoying to have to use the main light switch because it did not allow for individual light controls (say just for just one or two bathroom lights to be on). Parking and dining were pricey as you might expect but Montreal has lots of parking lots and even more restaurants.
