Modern feeling of the hotel. Travelodge are pretty much standard... old... ish feeling. This location has a more modern feel overall. Location is good, around 700 meters away from Place D' Arms. Breakfast room is really good. You are steps away from Desjardins Complex - that has a grocery store, Dollarama, Winners, Pharmacy and a Food Court.

Our check-in time was not observed. We had to wait past the check-in time. Staff was very friendly and apologetic though. I wish the location had scrambled eggs or sausage as I have seen in other Travelodge in ON. The options for breakfast were very good, but for a celiac you are stuck with hardboiled egg and a fruit.

Very central, most attractions and sights in walking distance. Room very clean, spacious, comfy bed. Room service came every day. Hotel was quiet during the night. Very pleasant stay and worth the stay. Friendly staff, check-in and check-out within minutes.

Breakfast I found below average and was disappointed. Plastics knives and forks and too much plastic used. Not much variety. Melon and pineapple slices were the only fresh fruit. No cheese or cold meat offered as I would expect for a continental breakfast. No warm food offered or hot milk for coffee. Only filter coffee and hot water was offered in big canisters. Eggs were very hard boiled. Croissants were tasty. Rubbish bins too close to where the food was placed.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, and the continental breakfast was very good, especially the croissants.

There is no hanging space for dresses or longer clothes. We were unaware that if you didn't hang a "do not disturb" sign on your door, the staff would knock on it at 8am, and if you don't answer straight away, they will enter your room. Quite alarming.

The property was fine, decent location.

No parking. Had to park a couple Blocks away. Not a huge deal but a bit of an inconvenience as it was pouring rain the day we left and the area we parked at was a little sketchy at night. Also the pricing was different from what I booked online vs what i paid at the hotel by about $50.

Clean and comfortable, in a very convenient location. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The croissants were AMAZING. Also the people attending to the breakfast room were very helpful and friendly. All the staff were.

I have no complaints about the parking, but it should have been explained better. On-site parking fills up fast, but there is overflow parking at the complex quite close by. This is a normal situation right in a city center, but I was not told about pricing, or time limits, or really anything...just given a map to the other parking lot. Again, the arrangement was fine, but communication should have been clearer.

The basic double room was decent and comfortable for one person. Housekeeping kindly allowed me to keep the iron and ironing board throughout my stay, which was very helpful since my suit and shirts got wrinkled during transport. The location was conveniently close to the Palais des Congrès de Montréal, the venue for my conference. It was easy to walk back and forth, with the added bonus of passing through Chinatown along the way. Overall, it was great value for money and perfect for a fuss-free stay.

The breakfast spread was quite limited: only croissants, pain au chocolat, boiled eggs, sliced fruit, yogurt, and cereals every single day. I stayed for seven nights, and there was no variation, which made it not very filling. Some improvement in this area would go a long way in satisfying customers. The lighting inside the room was poor, with basically just two bedside white lamps. It was hard to work in that lighting and difficult to sleep with the searing whiteness. It would be great to have yellow room lights for sleeping as well. Additionally, the location is far from any public transport.

The room was fine, comfortable for its purpose (attending the conference, thus spending only a limited time in the room). The location was excellent as I realized: just five minutes to the Congress Center and close (walking distance) to the city center and important attractions. The hotel is easily accessible by the airport connecting bus, just about twenty or so meters from the bus stop. I would also mention the high quality of the shower cabin: no leakage through the door at all (which often happens in other hotels, even rather expensive).

The breakfast was in general fine but a bit too sweet for me. I normally prefer food without sugar. Adding something like, e.g., cheese to the breakfast menu could be an option.

Location was perfect. Adjacent to Chinatown. Close to Old Montreal. Desjardin right across the street with an IGA. Convenience stores on the opposite corner. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and AC worked great. Multiple elevators so never had to wait long to use them. Free breakfast is always nice.

The breakfast options were limited and the eggs were overcooked every morning. I don't expect much from a continental breakfast, but if you're going to have hard boiled eggs at least figure out how to cook them please. Room was even smaller than expected, but adequate. Beds were too short.

Clean, modern room and bathroom with plentiful breakfast included. On Rene Levesque with St Laurent 747 airport shuttle bus stops nearby. On the edge of Chinatown so great meals within 3 mins walk. Also a takeaway pizza place on side street. 5 to 10 mins walk to Place des Arts & green line metro station. 10 to 15 mins walk or bus 55 down St Urbain & up hill to Notre Dame, Place d'Armes & historic Rue St Paul. Rooms at back of hotel aren't overlooked by skyscrapers & can see the Grande Roue down at the river. Underground Reso shopping centre Desjardins is opposite. Buses 55 & 363 on St Laurent go up to Mile End's famous bagel stores.

Heard a bit of noise from traffic and nearby building work through the night in room at front/side of hotel, but was quiet at back.

I live in Ottawa and everytime I go back to Montreal, I only go to travelodge as it’s always amazing experience. I’ve always received great service from the time I book my reservation, to staff team, to the room and location in downtown Montreal. I bring everyone there and highly recommend others to not search anywhere but here so thank you to the staff and cleaning crew at Travelodge Wyndham. The only thing that would be nice is to have guests who return there every year or so many stays, should receive a discount as there’s so many places a person can stay but if they return to the same location, it would be great to receive discounts as it shows how much we appreciate the hotel.

The only thing that I didn’t like is that the restaurant is only open for breakfast. In the past it was really nice having the restaurant open in evenings so we could order up to our rooms. It would be nice to see this happen again as it would increase the guests experience.
