Great location, clean functional room, very helpful staff
The first room they gave us had beds that had not been made. The receptionist apologized and immediately gave us a new room

Second room was bright and comfortable for a week work stay, with good bed & actually useful furnishings (first room wasn’t what I booked but you comped breakfast to make up for it). Decent pool, great terrace, bar/restaurant and food (even in room coffee was fine), nice staff - and all problem-solvers, esp reception. Actually, I think the best hotel staff I’ve experienced in Montreal since Covid, and am back every year.
SUPER slow elevator system, ugly lobby and poor street access, pool attendants late every day so access was reduced on work days (website says 7am, which would be better). Had to get new key card 3x because it died. Lot of guests were noisy and/or rude. Heads up to prospective guests - I knew what I was getting into for noise but Place des Arts is LOUD. Ask for a room in back if it will be an issue.

The location is exceptional ! In the "quartiers des arts" on Saint Catherine street and above a mall with a food court. There are shops, restaurant, you can hang out and chill nearby and not far from Chinatown. Everything is one or two block away : 10 min max walking.
The pool is cold and the employees are still on strike so the restaurant of the hotel is closed, no bar, no valet. All the services are not available. The manager (a lady) at the lobby and a man at the valet parking very helpful and nice. Thank you

The staff at the reception when arrived. The location of the building. The cleanliness of the rooms.
At the day of checking out, there was a very loud drilling noise which started around 8-8:30 am. This woke up our children with fear and that was a really bad decision to make. loud noise very early in the morning?! When reported this at the reception when checking out, I was expecting a better response form the staff there. They should know how to absorb the costumers frustration which should be one of the main qualities for a staff working in the front desk. The other bad experience was about accessing paid TV content. It was without restriction. Kids could have just entered any movie and purchased it without parent consent/confirmation.

I absilutely loved that they were able to accommodate our early check in request!!! This saved our day - no other hotel was willing to try when I was first looking. Thank you for your diligence to customer service, very much appreciated. The warm cookies upon check in was fabulous
In the morning on Monday Aug 5, our sleep was interrupted by what sounding like drilling or handywork in a room nearby. It didn't disrupt us too much but certianly felt way too early for guests who may be light sleepers. Would have preferred some free or lower cost parking... cost me $25 just ot park overnight. Travellers travel by car too -- not just subway and plane.

Great location. Pool was perfect for lounging and not overly busy. I liked that it was in a lively pedestrian zone with good food places. Sits on top of a mall complex which gave us options for a quick coffee. Walking distance to note dam cathedral and old montreal. Great valet service - with in-out privileges.
City view side has construction and there is some noise. if you like to sleep in, you might want a water view side. It didn't bother us as we rise early. Valet parking is a bit expensive.

We liked the comfortable beds, and the efficient air conditioning. The staff also responded quickly to online feedback from our first night's stay. My 23 year old daughter enjoyed the swimming pool. Excellent breakfast although expensive. Very centrally located.
All 4 pillows were a bit firm, a selection would have been preferred. The nozzle on the hair dryer was missing: the hotel offered to replace it for the next day but it would have been too late for us! Also we were given a room with a view, I think an upgrade however the noise from the lift was a little annoying. Next time I would prefer to have less of a view and a quieter night without the lift noice - to be fair the soundproofing was quite good in the room. Would have liked evening room service, perhaps expected with this type of hotel.

The location is superb, right in the center of Montreal. The hotel is super clean and well-kept. The room is spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast is of good quality and more diverse than the regular sugary-fatty-industrial North American breakfast fare. In conclusion, this is an excellent hotel.
It's a bit pricey. Also, it took me a while to understand how to reach it from the shopping mall downstairs, but it's not too bad once you know your way.

N/A had breakfast out - lots of very good options around. Room with a city view and very well located. Comfort of the room and hotel amenities.
On the morning of the day we were due to arrive we had a text to let us know that there would be limited services to the rooms and other amenities due to a staff strike. This made it difficult to settle as the hotel was more or less shut down apart from skeleton check in staff. Thankfully though the next morning the hotel was back to its usual vibrancy and service.

The curtains were great for blacking out light. The facilities were new. Location was good, it is in a mall, and closed to Chinatown, many options for food and convenient if need something. About 20 min waking to the port area, with kids.
The breakfast charged separately, we only had it for one morning, and we arrived when it was almost over. Less food left. And I think the options were far less for the price and the hotel star. I would recommend eat breakfast somewhere else.
